All Toyota’s body on frame platform in Asia that has 3rd row pretty much has the same system. Some like some don’t but I think it works and you can remove it for maximum capacity.
That's something that they really have to eliminate because the seats folded that way will limit the driver's view on both the far sides of the vehicle.
Newsflash this is not new! 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️Cars were already doing this for years many years!🙄🙄🙄Also this Lexus LM is the same exact sister car that has been sold in Asian countries under the Toyota Alphard. This is a Toyota Alphard with a few Premium features…. There is nothing new under the sun 🌞 my friend 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Warum vergleichen alle das Feature mit Alte Kisten? Ist klar das alles in Vergangenheit auch gab, aber in dem Fahrzeug gibt es auch falls das eine Entscheidungspunkt wäre
Nah it sucks! My seats go under the floor to create space, this one creates a little bit of space but the seats are still in the way 😂😂😂 I stick to my Caravan which has enough room even with the seats up 😂😂😂
All that folding you have to do by hand for a lexus? Then plus the seats are off the floor but you lose a ton of space for the bigger packages. God forbid you go with 3 suitcases to the airport . For the money lexus charges these seats should be completely out of the way
my parents 1996 toyota landcruiser had thr same concept. lol
I was going to say the same 90s toyota vans had these seats, nothing interesting about it
Correct, most of toyota's from 90's folded like that
Same family, no surprises. It's still a good concept and not everyone does it
Yeah, state of the art technology!!! He’s supposed to know about cars?
They probably do because Lexus & Toyota are one company
Toyota/Lexus used this mechanism for the last 30 years
2006 dodge grand caravan had tyat but it was better bc they folded into the floor
Back when Mercedes decided to actually do something for Chrysler.
@@Saaldienernah chrysler is a garbage car😭
Yep I agree My mom's 2005 Town and country had that 250,000 mi boy we missed that thing!
@@peachyclean93in
Toyota innova from 2000 is the same
Mazda bongo had that 30+ years ago. The clips to hold them up dont look too strong.
Toyota put 1976 Land Rover's third row seat in New Lexus.
When you have to choose between transporting people or luggage but not both
So its like the Honda element kinda?
Thats the style in the Philippines. And we were doing it since 2000..
His miming skills are so good he made you believe there was a crappy Skoda there.
My 2005 LX470 had this.
Toyota with old school technology
annnnd nobody is impressed
if this things fold like honda odyssey, or toyota sienna, then i'll be impressed
Toyota and Honda are the siblings😂
My friends 2012 toyota Innova had this feature 😂😂😂
My 1991 Toyota Previa mini van had 3rd row seats just like that.
very easy and functional
Wonderful, you showcase the rear seats that everyone complains about as if they are something great.
This was fun in 1995 but not now. Side fold is an automatic dealbreaker.
Breathless. What a technique. 😊
Toyota land cruiser has had that for years
На веревочках сиденья, так трогательно
Folding up seats reinvented
Toyota didn't do major r&d to put the seats underneath the floor. This side folding occupies more space
So a 90s-2010 Land Cruiser got it
It's strange, what's interesting that folding mechanisms are common. What's interesting is that it folds with one button and folds automatically.
Been in the alphard for years!
Toyota and Nissan doing this for Like 30 years
This is how wheelchair taxis are modded.
a cramp 6 seater is a no for me🙅
Yep looks like a buckle on my sons school backpack! Ingenious and cheap!
One thing that seat is more comfortable than yhe flat surface seat in rear because that seat like real chair
I love the way you embarase the manufacturer. And please, keep doing it either to Leksus and Toyoda. 😂😅
People in comments missed the point. He was looking for room to store his Little Black Backpack 😅
But failed to demonstrate putting away said item 😅😅😅
*Just Like the LX but smaller*
Been there for years but with self locking lol
Why expensive car, but the seat split not yet use electric control
need also to have track arrow aligned in right position or else u damage the bracket
All Toyota’s body on frame platform in Asia that has 3rd row pretty much has the same system. Some like some don’t but I think it works and you can remove it for maximum capacity.
Basically like every Toyota People Mover sold in Southeast Asia in the past 20-30 years.
He's become a mime now?
Dont like that folding setuo thou. Takes the side space unable to maximize the rear space
WOW someone discovered technology used decades in cars ... So impressed.... Back when you discover it's Alphard / Vellfire
So what is the use of seats on 3rd row
That's something that they really have to eliminate because the seats folded that way will limit the driver's view on both the far sides of the vehicle.
*Laughs in Toyota Sienna.*
Germans better stick to sports cars.
No space for luggage..when you full seat..😇..this mpv cannot beat V class...
Come on this 2023 !
¿Estos asientos, caso de accidente, son seguros. . .?😮😮😮
Bro that same seat folding even came in basic mahindra bolero .

Beautiful car
It sure is!
Just make the stupid thing longer. SMH
Waaaaooww. Latest technology..
Wish I can afford this lexus 😢
Same like fortuner😅😂
Toll. Wie in meinem Nissan Serena Baujahr 1995 👏
So, like the Land Cruiser then.
All vehicles have this option man...
We had it in toyota innova
Warum vergleichen alle das Feature mit Alte Kisten? Ist klar das alles in Vergangenheit auch gab, aber in dem Fahrzeug gibt es auch falls das eine Entscheidungspunkt wäre
Ford flex too
and crv
well thought design
Alphard beed doing that for a long time
New interesting?
This was the set up in my Mitsubishi pajero lo47 from 1997.
Looks like a head injury waiting
Just get an old LX and it'll do the same but with the touch of a button
Then my question is why would you need the 3rd row anyway
Even prado TZG has 3rd row folding seata
This is an old concept for all SUVs.
Thought it could be smarter by going into the floor.
Kek innova pelipatan kursinya
This expensive Lexus LM still using manual operating third roll?
Big no for me. You still got these two bumps on the floor and these fasteners don't really look too stable.
Come on dude you can fit that small bag without folding
In old innova this is already found😅
Very nice ❤❤❤
O ci metti i passeggeri o ci metti 1 VALIGIA😂
Nah it sucks! My seats go under the floor to create space, this one creates a little bit of space but the seats are still in the way 😂😂😂 I stick to my Caravan which has enough room even with the seats up 😂😂😂
TOYOTA lite ace, previa had the same thing pffff
Simple, easy to operate and fix. Perfect for a minivan.
Beautiful video
Thank you
This is the Lexus lm not a skoda kodiaq
Whatha.... hek ..... nowadays holding hook wth thread
Wtf 2010 Vellfire is exactly the same
Just put your bag on the seat😅
In innova crysta same type 😅
Lexus is upgrading now 😂😂😂😂.. and Toyota Innova is laughing in the corner 😂😂😂.. lol😂
This is ancient as taj mahal
They still can’t find a better way or refuse to acknowledge that there is a better way to store those seats.Do better Toyota
It’ s manuel , the X5 have a button for this … Even a Renault espace 2015 !!
Wouldn’t want to be rear ended.
Get rid of that 3rd row sidewall sh🤬t!
Von den zwei Plastik Clips ganze da gleich eine Tüte zu als Ersatz hinlegen
Wow ... Are you just out from the cave?
Yeah so all the American minivans manage to have 3 row seating AND ample cargo space, but go off i guess
Welcome to the 1980’s
Are you kidding me? Thus is acceptable for Lexus? What a joke
Toyota goes to past, not to future.
Too many gadgets on cars these days
Your 2nd row seats can't recline
