I remember someone mentioning that Donna and Clara were exact opposites and theorizing that since Donna forgot the doctor maybe the doctor would forget Clara and tbh I was mind blown they predicted the end of Clara my goodness imagine the person now
Myla Coleman I think it is even worse for the Doctor though, as he knows what he is missing. He does remember that she was dear to him and important, just not what she looks like or specifics. I think that’s worse than forgetting completely.
No matter what some people say, for me, Clara will always be one of the best companions, and her relationship with both the 11th and 12th doctors will always be cherished in my heart.

When I first watched Hell Bent, I absolutely detested it. But really, when you think about it, it is absolutely perfect. People complained that Gallifrey was completely wasted, that we were building up to it's return for years and years and years, and the story barely featured it at all. But isn't that the point? When you think about it. The Doctor used to be so invested in his home - just look at his response to the Master's death in Series 3, his response to his failure to find Gallifrey in Series 8 - and yet in Hell Bent, he barely pays any attention to his home. And that's what makes the ending so magnificent. His relationship with Clara has become so intense that he now considers her his home. People say that Hell Bent ruined Clara's death, that she had the perfect send off and Hell Bent undid that. But again - surely that's the point? As Ashildr says, "it was sad, and it was beautiful" - Clara had the perfect send off, and the Doctor, in his obsession, his sadness, his anger, his fear of loss, destroyed that. And in a sense, he mirrored the exact way that Clara behaved when Danny died in Series 9. And if anything, Gallifrey serves as the perfect backdrop for this. Gallifrey is the home that he thought he had lost, but has now recovered. Clara is the home that he did lose, and is struggling, yearning, failing to recover. To me, it seems that the Doctor's relationship with Clara was the most intense, and the most beautiful he had with any companion. When you think about how long he spent on Christmas in The Time of the Doctor, he probably knew her for longer than he knew any other companion. She became a part of him, and therefore, when she died, a large part of him died too. As much as we were looking forward to the return of Gallifrey, when you think about it, stories are always, at their heart, about character. About people, about communication, about relationships, about struggling to escape our own skins and connect with somebody else. For me, to reject Gallifrey's return in order to prove the extent to which Clara changed the Doctor and thus conclude perhaps the saddest, most beautiful character arc in the show's history is a sacrifice worth making.
Thanks man, I just think that at first, on the surface, it did seem like a disappointment, but the more you think about it, about what it represented, it was actually so so beautiful
The thing about Hell Bent is that the Doctor was yearning to go home for so long, but when he got there, he realised why he ran away in the first place. In "Twice Upon A Time", Bill asked the first Doctor what he was running to (and not from) and the Doctor mentioned how good prevails as it requires love and self sacrifice and that described the relationship between the Doctor and Clara. In Hell Bent, Twelve said he was looking for Clara and would know her if he saw her. He saw something in her character that he was looking for. The Doctor and Clara were a perfect match.
A lot of people didn't like how Moffat made Doctor Who a fairy tale, the screwdriver a magic wand, the TARDIS a magic box. But I do. The Doctor _is_ a fairy tale, he always was. A man so mysterious the first question anyone asks him is "doctor who," running away with a blue box. Brand new and ancient, and the bluest blue. He didn't steal it, he borrowed it. A trickster, a good man, a bad man, an idiot, helping out with his magic wand. Very old and very kind, because he's lost so many things and so many people. Sounds like a fairy tale to me. This is the Doctor, the greatest story in the galaxy. We're all stories in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?
11th and Clara were amazing together but 12th and Clara were beautiful. they were so in love omg. they were like soulmates. I really hope Clara will be in the Christmas special to say goodbye to 12th.

iam jessica you have to watch it. It will make you, laugh, smile, cry, think about different scientific theories of course mostly about time, you’ll some history with a Doctor Who twist, travel to the past, near future, long way down the road future, meet some cool historical figures, and so much more. Do it.
Despite all the people who complain about Clara, I still love her so much. She's so much more complex and in interesting as a character. There's so much to her and she feels very human to me, despite 'The Impossible Girl' story arc.
Connor Macfarlane i think the whole point of that arc was to show that she's just human and that's just enough to save the doctor and it also shows how the doctor saw her as a mystery and how that was wrong how her personality - and nothing else - makes her capable of doing such impossible thing as scattering herself through his time line
I've never understood why people didn't like her or her story. If I have one small complaint it's that there is a paradox in her story that doesn't appear to have been resolved. Please let me explain: Clara became the Impossible Girl by diving into the (deceased) Doctor's Timeline in his tomb at Trenzalore in order to repair the damage done by the Great Intelligence that had also jumped into his timeline in a bid to erase the doctor from history. That's why she was born, lived and died multiple times. However in "Time Of The Doctor" HIS timeline changed, he did NOT die there and was therefore not buried there. Since he survived Trenzalore with new regenerations that SHOULD have erased the timeline we'd seen for Clara including her multiple lives etc but it appears to me that was not the case. Other than that I found her to be extremely engaging and a lot of fun not to mention being incredibly pretty. Unlike many previous companions she was able to keep up with the Doctor rather than run around screaming and waiting to be saved and her looks were decidedly secondary in importance. Yes she was certainly eye candy but she was smart, strong and funny and that was of much more importance to the stories. I especially enjoyed the relationship between her and Peter Capaldi which to my mind put the companions back where they need to be, ie friends of the doctor NOT romantic interests (eg Rose and to a lesser extent Amy). Clara was brilliantly (imo) played by Jenna Coleman and was both intelligent and strong, not to mention she taught the Doctor a great deal about both humanity and himself while learning a great deal about herself in the process. While the end of her 'arc' was somewhat contrived and in areas a little weak (in terms of the writing) I thought it very definitely fitted her personality. Other than the previously mentioned paradox that hasn't been resolved (at least to my knowledge so if I'm wrong I'd be grateful if you'd tell me where to look for that resolution) I honestly think she was among the best of ALL the companions we've seen since Dr Who returned to our screens in 2005.
MrPeterpiper1969 my thoughts is she is an artifact of a divergent timeline. I feel like the doctor is so well entwined into the timeline as he is practically everywhere all the time that his actions can cause a shift of the entire time line while he is also almost above and beyond it himself allowing him to have brought clara from old timeline to new despite the fore said paradox. Though thats just me rationalizing it with the information i have so i could be off my rocker.
my first companion was Amy so she'll always hold a special place but to me Clara will always be my favourite. I don't know how or why but I've always felt a emotional connection with her character. I'll miss her forever and the thought that the Doctor doesn't fully remember her will always hurt. The Doctor and Clara had a beautiful bond, a true friendship.

But isn't that the beauty of it? We grow attached to these companions and these versions of the doctor, only to have them ripped away from us. We get to feel the pain of this very ancient, very wise, and very tired being. We get to understand why he's so tired. Tired of death. Tired of the ignorance. Tired of the rash decision making. Tired of getting attached only to be hurt again and again. But in the end, he pushes on like him so do we.
I know not many people like to hear this, but I don't think any three people ever encompassed what a Twin Flame relationship is like more than the 11th, 12th and Clara........ And while others may not really care for Clara, no other companionship ever gets me as emotional or jealous as theirs.
This is amazing... I love Clara, she was interesting and fun and she gave the Doctor a different kind of depth, a more emotional, human depth that 11th & Amy didn't have (not that they weren't amazing). It was such a wonderful idea of them to make the Doctor & Clara have a romantic relationship of sorts, but emphasize on the fact that it could never work out and that it shouldn't be seen. Love it so much...
I love the fact that Clara got the memory, when she said that was her memory and she wanted and she was stronger than doctor and kept it, it was perfect.
I wish they did a 15 episode long 'Clara Who' spin off. Clara in her Tardis and Ashildr/Me. I would like to see her go back to gallifrey from the long way around, be a little doctor on the way and i really would like to feel her sadness over losing the Doctor. Also they can make a movie about that or another movie called 'The Impossible Girl' and show us her adventures, saving the doctor in her past. You remember the episode Name of the Doctor. She is my favorite companion and i couldn't get enough of her.
This is beautifully edited. The story you tell is so well-constructed and so perfectly captures their odd, passionately intense, protective, doomed friendship. It must have taken a lot of hard work but it's so well done. Thank you.
Clara was my fave companion, I loved Dona but when Clara became my fave. She was the best for him. I know everyone will say it was Rose that was the best for him but I could never see that. Rose was too child-like and immature. She was whiney to the point where it was hard to watch some scenes. She was jealous of every woman that came around, she even had some bratty comments about Martha in The Stolen Earth. Martha was ok but she went along with him because of a crush, she grew in the end and moved on from the Doctor but still cared. She had more maturity than Rose did. Donna was awesome, she started her journey with the Doctor as a friend, helping him when needed and being sassy while doing it. She was smart but didn't know it, her story was amazing and tragic. Amy and Rory just never set well with me, Amy even tried seducing the Doctor the night before her wedding. Sure she also grew in the end but she could be scary at times. When she came around and the opening credits opened with her story it just seemed wrong. Rory could have been a great character if given the chance, he seemed to be a puppy dog following around Amy. Although he did get better at the end. Bill was another great companion, she obviously didn't have a crush on the Doctor and even gave sass right back to him (kinda like Donna) She could have been so much more if given the chance, and I wish she could have. Clara just worked well. She was smart, sassy, cool under pressure, and selfless. She made sure the Doctor did the right thing even if it hurt. She didn't want him to save her if it was the wrong thing to do, she wanted him to still be kind even after her death. She saved the Doctor so many times at great risk to herself. She did what was right and made the Doctor as well. There was so much chemistry between those two but it didn't make things awkward as it did with others. She bettered the Doctor, I think even more than Rose did. Clara will always be my companion, she was just perfect. I didn't care much for Matt Smith's version of the Doctor but with Clara I kinda liked him. Who knows how it would have been if she was a companion for all the Doctors. This video showed how awesome Clara was and how good she was for the Doctor. Clara's death I think was the hardest for me to watch, but I'll never not watch it. Sorry for the long comment, I never have anyone to talk to about the companions of Doctor Who.
I think you’re totally right, and that’s the reason people should hate Clara, she was so smart, selfless and awesome, people don’t see how she’s a good companion, I will always miss Clara Oswald and I will protect her with all my heart.
I started it I was like : omg I'm gonna cry I saw it was 8 min long and I thought I was never going to survive Update : I didn't survive I love them so much and I miss theeeem I especially loved Clara and Twelve and she's gone and now he's going to leave to and I'm so heartbroken I really hope we'll see her in the Christmas episode
Being in quarantine, I'm looking at all the old videos I've loved. Clara really was the best companion. And they should have moved on with 12 , not 13. I literally can't watch it. I also with they'd expressed what Clara said to the Doctor in the the cloister.
Clara was the best written and acted companion ever. It was the first time on TV that I could really see two people having deep unconditional love for eachother without all that typically cheap tv romance crap. Clearly the best work of the modern show. But I think what I like most about their journey is how much of a significant impact another person can have on your soul. Capaldis portrayal of the doctors change is beyond fantastic and has never been reached since.. no shade to the other actors, they were also fantastic.
imo, everyone likes to talk about Rose and I understand why. But, from this video, you clearly see Clara had the most intense relationship with the Doctor out of all the companions. Like they were really dependent on each other, it was borderline toxic really but so interesting to watch
The twelfth hour was ending... The Doctor walked inside his Tardis while his hand began to shine; He fell to his knees and looked out the door one last time and saw an unknown girl but somewhat familiar in the middle of the ice of the north pole; she was looking at him and crying. "Was I a good man?" asked the Doctor, while his face began to shine. The Girl, that unknown, special, impossible girl smiled:" Yes, Doctor, you are a good man". I hope Capaldi's Regeneration will be something like this :) Clara and Twelve's friendship was beautiful.
Watched so many of these today. Basically sitting here crying. No idea why I'm doing this to myself. Their relationship is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

I didn't like Clara because she was always changing. I loved the Dalek Clara, I loved the governess Clara... I think I was over it after 2 kills and then the permanent Clara was more timid than the bad asses we had met. But watching through again, I am a fan. I think I see the story they tried to tell and just did it poorly. I'm loving her. I am certain that I will be in the minority but I kind of wish they had been allowed to fall in love. That pairing would have been interesting.
I can never decide which I love the most out of Smith and Capaldi but as different as they were they both demonstrated such an enormous sense of love and devotion to Clara. Not romantic i.e. Ten and Rose, but something far bigger, far more important and almost far beyond words and yet three actors could not just pull it off but develop it to the ultimate. There are people in life who have had the love of a Clara in their life but my goodness it is rare. I miss this so much in modern Who. A beautifully crafted youtube video. Great work as always and I loved how you used that scene with bill from Smile! I do think that it would've been better if you included some scenes from the day of the doctor and Clara interacting with the tenth/war doctor. But otherwise fantastic, absolutely fantastic
Clara is much more than a companion. She is now written through virtually all of the series, from William Hartnell through to Peter Capaldi, and likely beyond in the future. Love? Yes, of course, but a platonic kind, rather than the physical. To care for and protect each other. And one suffering four and a half billion years to save the other, only to lose her until the end. And, embodied by the lovely Jenna Coleman, she's both irresistible and impossible. She was the souffle' Dalek who was human, the clever barmaid and the girl who was born to save the Doctor. And she's still the one mystery worth solving. I have the memories on DVD. For now, I shall run, and remember.
Donna will always be my favorite but Clara & 12 will be my favorite. I cried for hours because of her (mainly because it’s dw it’s sad) they was soulmates and they needed each other a lot and they went through so much and I think their relationship was beautiful and I will miss them. for me Clara Oswald was and always will be the best doctor companion who, she and he combined very, the controller and who was not controlled! Still very sad that she left in season 9, but her epic farewell to the doctor at the end of the season was much sadder ... I know her name was Clara, I know she and I were traveling together. I know I had an ice warrior on a submarine and a mummy on the East Express, I know we sat together at Clausto and she told me something very important, but I have no idea what she said, or how she looked, or how he spoke, or how he laughed. For me the greatest Doctor/ companion duo has got to be the 12th Doctor and Clara, I know that she may get some flak from many, but I love their dynamic for one basic, simple reason: the platonic love that they have for each other. I know many would say their relationship is highly toxic and that she became too Doctor like, but by the end of their time together I could understand how , and why, the Doctor would spend 4.5 billion years trying to break through an unbreakable wall , dying over and over and over again infinite times, because of his grief over her loss. She was that important to him. Makes me wish I had a real life companion like that. I relate to them. However unlikely it may be, and unpopular to many I'm sure, I would like to see Clara return one day and reunite with the Doctor again just to see how she would react to their new incarnation before she has to finally meet her fate ( or will she know that Gallifrey and the Time Lords have been destroyed?). The both of them together are magic for me.

therotanitsarcorp - Twelve remembers Clara. Peter Capaldi said he thought the Doctor never completely forgot her and that her memory wipe wasn't a complete success. I am glad about that.
oh jeez oh jeez, I definitely started tearing up a bit when 12 started talking about how he couldnt remember her, aahhhhh this is so perfect!!! all the music and scenes fit perfectly together!! and I liked the addition of the part with bill at the end, wasnt expecting that, this is a straight up masterpiece showcasing their relationship wowie, I am very emotional now aahhhh
I think the worst part of Clara is they basically did her character arc in 6 eps. If they saved it a bit and spread it out more it would have been better. She’s still prob my second fav companion tho.
She's the impossible girl. Always and forever with the Doctor. Jumping into the stream of time caused a paradox, that can be remedied. For them both to reunited.😊

Despite all the people who complain about Clara, I still love her so much. She's so much more complex and in interesting as a character. There's so much to her and she feels very human to me, despite 'The Impossible Girl' story arc.
After some time passes people will realize what a great Companion she was.
Connor Macfarlane i think the whole point of that arc was to show that she's just human
and that's just enough to save the doctor
and it also shows how the doctor saw her as a mystery and how that was wrong
how her personality - and nothing else - makes her capable of doing such impossible thing as scattering herself through his time line
I've never understood why people didn't like her or her story. If I have one small complaint it's that there is a paradox in her story that doesn't appear to have been resolved. Please let me explain:
Clara became the Impossible Girl by diving into the (deceased) Doctor's Timeline in his tomb at Trenzalore in order to repair the damage done by the Great Intelligence that had also jumped into his timeline in a bid to erase the doctor from history. That's why she was born, lived and died multiple times.
However in "Time Of The Doctor" HIS timeline changed, he did NOT die there and was therefore not buried there. Since he survived Trenzalore with new regenerations that SHOULD have erased the timeline we'd seen for Clara including her multiple lives etc but it appears to me that was not the case.
Other than that I found her to be extremely engaging and a lot of fun not to mention being incredibly pretty. Unlike many previous companions she was able to keep up with the Doctor rather than run around screaming and waiting to be saved and her looks were decidedly secondary in importance. Yes she was certainly eye candy but she was smart, strong and funny and that was of much more importance to the stories.
I especially enjoyed the relationship between her and Peter Capaldi which to my mind put the companions back where they need to be, ie friends of the doctor NOT romantic interests (eg Rose and to a lesser extent Amy). Clara was brilliantly (imo) played by Jenna Coleman and was both intelligent and strong, not to mention she taught the Doctor a great deal about both humanity and himself while learning a great deal about herself in the process. While the end of her 'arc' was somewhat contrived and in areas a little weak (in terms of the writing) I thought it very definitely fitted her personality. Other than the previously mentioned paradox that hasn't been resolved (at least to my knowledge so if I'm wrong I'd be grateful if you'd tell me where to look for that resolution) I honestly think she was among the best of ALL the companions we've seen since Dr Who returned to our screens in 2005.
MrPeterpiper1969 my thoughts is she is an artifact of a divergent timeline. I feel like the doctor is so well entwined into the timeline as he is practically everywhere all the time that his actions can cause a shift of the entire time line while he is also almost above and beyond it himself allowing him to have brought clara from old timeline to new despite the fore said paradox. Though thats just me rationalizing it with the information i have so i could be off my rocker.
but her decisions are enormously inconsistant from episode to episode, sure she has been in some good arcs but as a character she isnt good
my first companion was Amy so she'll always hold a special place but to me Clara will always be my favourite. I don't know how or why but I've always felt a emotional connection with her character. I'll miss her forever and the thought that the Doctor doesn't fully remember her will always hurt.
The Doctor and Clara had a beautiful bond, a true friendship.

God it hurts when they die. The Doctor and the companion. You fall in love with every one and then they die...
But isn't that the beauty of it? We grow attached to these companions and these versions of the doctor, only to have them ripped away from us. We get to feel the pain of this very ancient, very wise, and very tired being. We get to understand why he's so tired. Tired of death. Tired of the ignorance. Tired of the rash decision making. Tired of getting attached only to be hurt again and again. But in the end, he pushes on like him so do we.
Luckily they managed to not create that bond at all with the new 13th doctor at all..

I know not many people like to hear this, but I don't think any three people ever encompassed what a Twin Flame relationship is like more than the 11th, 12th and Clara........ And while others may not really care for Clara, no other companionship ever gets me as emotional or jealous as theirs.
This is amazing... I love Clara, she was interesting and fun and she gave the Doctor a different kind of depth, a more emotional, human depth that 11th & Amy didn't have (not that they weren't amazing). It was such a wonderful idea of them to make the Doctor & Clara have a romantic relationship of sorts, but emphasize on the fact that it could never work out and that it shouldn't be seen.

I love the fact that Clara got the memory, when she said that was her memory and she wanted and she was stronger than doctor and kept it, it was perfect.
They were soul mates not in the I'm in love with you type of way but as in I can't live without you.
The love story that could've been, but never was. The "I love you" never told, but aways there.
I miss Clara, I wish they would have made a spin off with her.

I wish they did a 15 episode long 'Clara Who' spin off. Clara in her Tardis and Ashildr/Me. I would like to see her go back to gallifrey from the long way around, be a little doctor on the way and i really would like to feel her sadness over losing the Doctor. Also they can make a movie about that or another movie called 'The Impossible Girl' and show us her adventures, saving the doctor in her past. You remember the episode Name of the Doctor. She is my favorite companion and i couldn't get enough of her.

Clara was my fave companion, I loved Dona but when Clara became my fave. She was the best for him. I know everyone will say it was Rose that was the best for him but I could never see that. Rose was too child-like and immature. She was whiney to the point where it was hard to watch some scenes. She was jealous of every woman that came around, she even had some bratty comments about Martha in The Stolen Earth.
Martha was ok but she went along with him because of a crush, she grew in the end and moved on from the Doctor but still cared. She had more maturity than Rose did.
Donna was awesome, she started her journey with the Doctor as a friend, helping him when needed and being sassy while doing it. She was smart but didn't know it, her story was amazing and tragic.
Amy and Rory just never set well with me, Amy even tried seducing the Doctor the night before her wedding. Sure she also grew in the end but she could be scary at times. When she came around and the opening credits opened with her story it just seemed wrong. Rory could have been a great character if given the chance, he seemed to be a puppy dog following around Amy. Although he did get better at the end.
Bill was another great companion, she obviously didn't have a crush on the Doctor and even gave sass right back to him (kinda like Donna) She could have been so much more if given the chance, and I wish she could have.
Clara just worked well. She was smart, sassy, cool under pressure, and selfless. She made sure the Doctor did the right thing even if it hurt. She didn't want him to save her if it was the wrong thing to do, she wanted him to still be kind even after her death. She saved the Doctor so many times at great risk to herself. She did what was right and made the Doctor as well. There was so much chemistry between those two but it didn't make things awkward as it did with others. She bettered the Doctor, I think even more than Rose did. Clara will always be my companion, she was just perfect. I didn't care much for Matt Smith's version of the Doctor but with Clara I kinda liked him. Who knows how it would have been if she was a companion for all the Doctors.
This video showed how awesome Clara was and how good she was for the Doctor. Clara's death I think was the hardest for me to watch, but I'll never not watch it.

I think you’re totally right, and that’s the reason people should hate Clara, she was so smart, selfless and awesome, people don’t see how she’s a good companion, I will always miss Clara Oswald and I will protect her with all my heart.

Being in quarantine, I'm looking at all the old videos I've loved. Clara really was the best companion. And they should have moved on with 12 , not 13. I literally can't watch it. I also with they'd expressed what Clara said to the Doctor in the the cloister.

Clara was the best written and acted companion ever.
It was the first time on TV that I could really see two people having deep unconditional love for eachother without all that typically cheap tv romance crap. Clearly the best work of the modern show.
But I think what I like most about their journey is how much of a significant impact another person can have on your soul. Capaldis portrayal of the doctors change is beyond fantastic and has never been reached since.. no shade to the other actors, they were also fantastic.

imo, everyone likes to talk about Rose and I understand why. But, from this video, you clearly see Clara had the most intense relationship with the Doctor out of all the companions. Like they were really dependent on each other, it was borderline toxic really but so interesting to watch

The Doctor walked inside his Tardis while his hand began to shine; He fell to his knees and looked out the door one last time and saw an unknown girl but somewhat familiar in the middle of the ice of the north pole; she was looking at him and crying. "Was I a good man?" asked the Doctor, while his face began to shine. The Girl, that unknown, special, impossible girl smiled:" Yes, Doctor, you are a good man".
I hope Capaldi's Regeneration will be something like this :) Clara and Twelve's friendship was beautiful.

I didn't like Clara because she was always changing. I loved the Dalek Clara, I loved the governess Clara... I think I was over it after 2 kills and then the permanent Clara was more timid than the bad asses we had met.
But watching through again, I am a fan. I think I see the story they tried to tell and just did it poorly. I'm loving her. I am certain that I will be in the minority but I kind of wish they had been allowed to fall in love. That pairing would have been interesting.
I wish this could've featured Clara's goodbye to the doctor right before his regeneration.
I can never decide which I love the most out of Smith and Capaldi but as different as they were they both demonstrated such an enormous sense of love and devotion to Clara. Not romantic i.e. Ten and Rose, but something far bigger, far more important and almost far beyond words and yet three actors could not just pull it off but develop it to the ultimate. There are people in life who have had the love of a Clara in their life but my goodness it is rare. I miss this so much in modern Who. A beautifully crafted youtube video. Thank you for the time and effort.

Clara is much more than a companion. She is now written through virtually all of the series, from William Hartnell through to Peter Capaldi, and likely beyond in the future. Love? Yes, of course, but a platonic kind, rather than the physical. To care for and protect each other. And one suffering four and a half billion years to save the other, only to lose her until the end. And, embodied by the lovely Jenna Coleman, she's both irresistible and impossible. She was the souffle' Dalek who was human, the clever barmaid and the girl who was born to save the Doctor. And she's still the one mystery worth solving. I have the memories on DVD. For now, I shall run, and remember.

I cried for hours because of her (mainly because it’s dw it’s sad) they was soulmates and they needed each other a lot and they went through so much and I think their relationship was beautiful and I will miss them. for me Clara Oswald was and always will be the best doctor companion who, she and he combined very, the controller and who was not controlled! Still very sad that she left in season 9, but her epic farewell to the doctor at the end of the season was much sadder ...

For me the greatest Doctor/ companion duo has got to be the 12th Doctor and Clara, I know that she may get some flak from many, but I love their dynamic for one basic, simple reason: the platonic love that they have for each other. I know many would say their relationship is highly toxic and that she became too Doctor like, but by the end of their time together I could understand how , and why, the Doctor would spend 4.5 billion years trying to break through an unbreakable wall , dying over and over and over again infinite times, because of his grief over her loss. She was that important to him. Makes me wish I had a real life companion like that. I relate to them. However unlikely it may be, and unpopular to many I'm sure, I would like to see Clara return one day and reunite with the Doctor again just to see how she would react to their new incarnation before she has to finally meet her fate ( or will she know that Gallifrey and the Time Lords have been destroyed?). The both of them together are magic for me.

therotanitsarcorp - Twelve remembers Clara. Peter Capaldi said he thought the Doctor never completely forgot her and that her memory wipe wasn't a complete success. I am glad about that.

oh jeez oh jeez, I definitely started tearing up a bit when 12 started talking about how he couldnt remember her, aahhhhh this is so perfect!!! all the music and scenes fit perfectly together!! and I liked the addition of the part with bill at the end, wasnt expecting that, this is a straight up masterpiece showcasing their relationship wowie, I am very emotional now aahhhh
Even Ten's regeneration didn't break my heart as much 12. Capaldi was really amazing.
I think the worst part of Clara is they basically did her character arc in 6 eps. If they saved it a bit and spread it out more it would have been better. She’s still prob my second fav companion tho.
