How we only got 11 episodes (I think) with these two is a TRAVESTY! Eleven should have stayed for another season, and then Twelve should have emerged with his series 9 vibe - dark but dry-witted.
Being of a certain age I was brought up on Tom & Lis. They were for years my favourite duo. The companion has to have her own Doctor. Sarah Jane was with Pertwee for a short time but Tom was her Doctor. Likewise Amy was 11ths companion. At this point I should say I am nuts about the amazingly beautiful, talented Jenna Coleman. Met her a few times & she is a nice person too. The Coleman/Capaldi double act is easily my favourite duo ever. I know Jenna speaks highly of working with him. Clara is stunning but the Doctor is alien & can't see that. Lines like "Clara you look nice today. Have you had a wash?" Are brilliant
I don't care who disagrees with me, The Doctor and Clara loved one another or at least they were heading that way they feel so natural and click so much they work so well together unlike Rose and Ten which felt sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo forced.

The impossible girl. Clara Oswyn Oswald. She's smart, composed, adorable, fierce at times, whimsical, she's a genuinely good person, inquisitive, down to earth, selfless, compassionate. She's the best companion the doctor ever had imo
