Hey Dennis, Being retired I dont miss all the maintenance on my machinery, better to watch someone else do it. Good job, thanks.

You are so right about manufacturers making things hard to work on. Must be why they encourage you to buy their maintenance programs, etc.

We had a Mc Cormick mtx175 years ago, had a Perkins 6 cylinder in it, good strong engine, but a bugger to service, had a split sump also and hydraulic hoses for the front suspension running right past the sump plug, what a mess, then to fill it with oil the filler went down through the timing gear cover, was very slow, then to bleed the fuel filters, the filters are on one side of the engine and the hand primer pump is on the other, so you could only listen for the air coming out, good old English designing something as difficult as possible, thank Dennis

Usually the engine is in different size tractors. Some have alot of room and others are tight fitting. You got the tight fitting tractor...

I have a pair of 6M Deere's (had a 6125R and a 6105D) I find for doing service work on them they are pretty easy to service.

That was interesting,... regarding the trailer being level, I found out the hard way, that this is very important to have the trailer, any trailer, level with the ground as you tow.
Long distance towing on hard surface will wear out the tires if the trailer is too high or too low, hahaha, ask me what that cost to find out!

Deere says to change the oil at 250 hrs not 500 and it says the oil capacity is 16L aka ~16 quarts, 4.2 Gal for this model according to Google. I hope 19 qts isn't too full. Thanks for the video!

dennis i have the M version, oil filter looks the same, mine has a extra "gasket" between the top lip of the filter and the houseing your part number r502513 in addition to the O ring inside ...it is a different part number that is recommended to be changed with the filter and is not clear in the manuals my last change i didnt change mine as it sticks to the upper filter housing
