I am 48. When I was little my Great Grandmother and I would watch Golden Girls together. it was my secret. I never told my buddies at School. I would have been ridiculed. Then at our 20 year reunion in 2012, I was chatting with a couple of the fellas I played Varsity football with and guess what?, they watched Golden Girls with their Grandma's too. That's how incredible Betty White was, and always will be. I have shed more than a few tears these past few days. Thank you Betty for all the laughs, the smiles, and even now the tears. You are worthy of each tear that has gone down my cheeks.

I felt stupid crying over the loss of someone I didn't personally know until my fiance convinced me it made sense because of how much of an impact she made on so many people. Same here. I was reading about her 100th birthday celebration on the 17 of this January on December 30. Then the next day Twitter had exploded and said she died on New Years Eve early hours. At first I thought it was a hoax but when I realized it was real I got very emotional and cried for a couple of days. She one fabulous woman. My mother is the same age but my mother passed away 5 1/2 years ago. Betty was in such great health. I was like why am I crying because I felt like I knew her Such a sweet soul. God has her know and Betty is now with Alan . Rip Betty White. God bless her.

Little did I know I'd be crying about it a couple weeks later. I'm equally sorry for both your losses. May they both rest in peace.🕊

Betty is what I strive to be like, a kind, loving, and hilarious woman who brought joy to people, animals, and now to all in Heaven. I envy the life she led in the best possible way. We are so fortunate that we have the blessings of her many recordings to make us laugh. What a gem she was and still is.

I'm 62. I remember watching the Golden Girls. I love Betty though I had no idea who she was until years later. I was a foreign student at that time. Her character was fun, naive, and innocent. I particularly identified with her role because I grew up with stigma of not so bright and too naive. :) Fast forward, I'm thankful to Betty because I believe she'd played herself, a role model to me. RIP. I respect her!!
