Today. After 6 years after watching my favorite youtubers playthroughs of Undertale. I did it. I played it for the first time ever, and knowing the story did not ruin the experience at all. I grinned like a big idiot going through just the name selection screen, going through all the easter egg names I could remember from a video I watched 6 years ago. I don’t regret spoiling the story for myself, because I gained an equal amount of joy from my memories of being in the fandom. Truly, beautiful.

I dont know exactly what it is with this specific cover of Undertale, but this one makes me feel extremely nostalgic for some reason. Especially in the beginning and 4:33-5:12, along with the very end (from 5:50 onwards). I dont know why this is but I absolutely love it
I am currently playing Undertale through for a second time as pacifist (no spoilers please), and even though i haven't got the supposedly 'best' ending, Undertale so far has been amazing adventure. It's not just a game, it's a journey, a whole other world, created. Every thing about that quest, is perfect. All the characters you meet, their personalities, they are all so different, just as we are. The music is beautiful and the visuals are amazing, despite the pixels they were still able to create something magnificent. Undertale, is something i will never forget, I hope that it lives on and people will still enjoy it in the far future. All the fandoms and community's it has made, friends coming together to discuss theory's, favorite characters, cosplay. I could go on forever about how absolutely amazing this game truly is.I want to be able to tell my children about this game one day (if i have any). all the things it has helped me through, taken my mind off things. I have a hope that that great feeling when you finally beat a boss, that surprising feeling you get when something unexpected happens, the characters, the music, Undertale, will not be forgotten. *You hear the distant music playing, it fills you with joy and determination as you remember all the things this journey made you feel.

Ok, so this game was the reason I got interested in piano, as I actually wanted to learn how to play some of these songs. Too bad I got interested so lately, now it's almost like nobody even cares anymore. Nontheless I've learned the first 29 seconds, which I think is pretty impressive for a complete nub like me xD. Honestly. I'm not one to post comments. Ever. At least I haven't done so in years. But this song. This beautiful song. I played undertale when it kinda first came out. And this Song has always held a special place in my heart. Well. It's even more special. recently, my lovebird of around five to six years passed away. And I always took photos or videos of them. They helped me through so much without me even realizing it. They were a little nervous ball of feathers around loud noises. And so was I. So we both kinda held onto each other. Anyways. Before she passed. The last video I had ever posted on my Instagram story, was her sleeping. All comfy and gently swaying and ever so often opening her eyes. And this song was playing in the background. The soft part anyways that's practically in the center of the song. And that was the very last video I had shared. And it's been on my mind. It's been roughly around two or three weeks since. And I was barely able to return to hear the full song. And just as it's made me cry. It also..comforted me. I hate it when people say: "This song is just Memory, but with different instruments!" Actually no. Songs like Memory and Once Upon a time are used as foreshadowing tools or framing devices to help tell the story. Undertale is literally the theme of the entire game. Memory is a teaser to that. Just like the Ruins theme foreshadows Undyne and Waterfall. Infact, the thing that Ruins and Waterfall have in common is that they are both filler areas, so they use the same music. The entire Undertale track sounds familiar because the characters in Undertale are all related to each other. Asgore and Heartache are related, as well as Ghost Fight, Dummy, and Spider Dance, Home, Once Upon a Time, Reunited are related. Star, an unused track, and Memory are related and so on. Funfact though: Star borrows the first three notes of its melody from Memory, ironically.

+Captain Treeko I'd disagree that with the exception of Asriel, everyone gets a happy ending... but when you think beyond the scope of the game, there's virtually no possible way that the human world takes kindly to monsters. I think the point of this song though, as a theme to the game, accomplishes being a theme in that it kind of inspires this beautiful hopelessness when you listen to it, which is what the game is all about. This hopeless situation where you either have to die for the sake of the monsters or kill for the sake of your own escape, and that situation gets amplified by the fact that nobody wants to spill first blood. It's all around hopeless, and there's this serene beauty to it. And that's Undertale.

I dont know exactly what it is with this specific cover of Undertale, but this one makes me feel extremely nostalgic for some reason. Especially in the beginning and 4:33-5:12, along with the very end (from 5:50 onwards). I dont know why this is but I absolutely love it

I am currently playing Undertale through for a second time as pacifist (no spoilers please), and even though i haven't got the supposedly 'best' ending, Undertale so far has been amazing adventure. It's not just a game, it's a journey, a whole other world, created. Every thing about that quest, is perfect. All the characters you meet, their personalities, they are all so different, just as we are. The music is beautiful and the visuals are amazing, despite the pixels they were still able to create something magnificent. Undertale, is something i will never forget, I hope that it lives on and people will still enjoy it in the far future. All the fandoms and community's it has made, friends coming together to discuss theory's, favorite characters, cosplay. I could go on forever about how absolutely amazing this game truly is.I want to be able to tell my children about this game one day (if i have any). all the things it has helped me through, taken my mind off things. I have a hope that that great feeling when you finally beat a boss, that surprising feeling you get when something unexpected happens, the characters, the music, Undertale, will not be forgotten.

Ok, so this game was the reason I got interested in piano, as I actually wanted to learn how to play some of these songs. Too bad I got interested so lately, now it's almost like nobody even cares anymore. Nontheless I've learned the first 29 seconds, which I think is pretty impressive for a complete nub like me xD. Still it's nothing compared to the guys who managed to learn and play 4 different UT songs in front of a camera a month after the release of this game... I feel like nothing at this point, I'm trying something hundreds of people did better than me months ago already. Should I still continue despite all of this?

That One PKMN Trainer If you mean hand coordination, practice playing with only your left hand _(play the notes for the left hand, not both hands!)_ and get the hang of it. It takes time, but if you really wanna be able to play the song well, stay determined.

recently, my lovebird of around five to six years passed away.
And I always took photos or videos of them. They helped me through so much without me even realizing it.
They were a little nervous ball of feathers around loud noises. And so was I. So we both kinda held onto each other. Anyways.
Before she passed.
The last video I had ever posted on my Instagram story, was her sleeping. All comfy and gently swaying and ever so often opening her eyes. And this song was playing in the background. The soft part anyways that's practically in the center of the song.
And that was the very last video I had shared. And it's been on my mind. It's been roughly around two or three weeks since.
And I was barely able to return to hear the full song. And just as it's made me cry. It also..comforted me. And that's the magic of undertale music for ya.

After three full years, this still hits me like a pro wrestler but the wrestler is Undertale and the punches are the feels.

Actually no. Songs like Memory and Once Upon a time are used as foreshadowing tools or framing devices to help tell the story. Undertale is literally the theme of the entire game. Memory is a teaser to that. Just like the Ruins theme foreshadows Undyne and Waterfall. Infact, the thing that Ruins and Waterfall have in common is that they are both filler areas, so they use the same music. The entire Undertale track sounds familiar because the characters in Undertale are all related to each other. Asgore and Heartache are related, as well as Ghost Fight, Dummy, and Spider Dance, Home, Once Upon a Time, Reunited are related. Star, an unused track, and Memory are related and so on.
Funfact though: Star borrows the first three notes of its melody from Memory, ironically.

And also, not just ruins and waterfall are connected, it also connects to another medium and core and then those just spiral off into crazy other connections and yeah. It’s crazy. +Captain Treeko I'd disagree that with the exception of Asriel, everyone gets a happy ending... but when you think beyond the scope of the game, there's virtually no possible way that the human world takes kindly to monsters. I think the point of this song though, as a theme to the game, accomplishes being a theme in that it kind of inspires this beautiful hopelessness when you listen to it, which is what the game is all about. This hopeless situation where you either have to die for the sake of the monsters or kill for the sake of your own escape, and that situation gets amplified by the fact that nobody wants to spill first blood. It's all around hopeless, and there's this serene beauty to it. And that's Undertale.
