    I’m an 8th grader from West Virginia, just from being from West Virginia my acceptance chances are slim, BUT I’m ambitious and plan on getting into at least one Ivy League school, this video is incredibly informative for the most part and I love your channel

      Thank you for your kind words. Being from West Virginia is actually better than being from most states that send more students to Ivy League or selective colleges. Keep watching and learning, and good luck!

    I'm going to apply next year (a junior in high school), I am an international student from Canada, an 80 here in Canada is counted as an A, I know it is a B in USA. Does JHU and others considerations that factor?

      Selective colleges get applications from around the world and most high schools will send high school profiles with students' transcripts; therefore, JHU is very aware of diverse grading scales depending on applicants' countries or high schools. With that said, a 90 or 95 out of 100 is always better than an 80 out of 100, regardless of whether you call the 80 an A or B. Good luck!

      What’s the deal with the vest under the hoody. Please don’t say that. Unless it’s for warmth. If students are where they should be in charm city, they are safe. As in any urban city, just don’t walk around with wads of cash in your back pocket and don’t carry your brand new iPhone in your hand while walking down the street. That goes for Miami, New York, Los Angeles, Philly, DC, Chicago, as well as be more

    If you get a really low score on an AP exam (1) and John Hopkins doesn't even except the course (AP US history) do they see your score and would it affect you? ---really important question

    do you know if Johns Hopkins looks at your first semester freshmen grades in highschool when applying and if they do how much does it affect if you get accepted or not?

    I have little EC. I worked after school. I learned how to budget. Where to save. Where to spend. I already started retirement funds. I love Dave Ramsey. Am I screwed?

    Sir, I hope you're doing great, and I want you to know that your explanations and the information you provide are wonderful. I am wondering if this video is also intended for a Master's program, and if not, is there a chance to prepare a video related to Master's applications?

      Thanks for your feedback. I only focus on undergraduate admissions; therefore, all my videos are focused on undergraduate admissions and undergraduate college life. Good luck.

    Hi , I am an international student from Egypt and I am applying next year as a Biomedical engineering major also , nut I want to ask about taking an AP test. Would it increase my chance of getting accepted or take place a bad S.A.T score ; or is it a waste of time?

    • @CollegeMeister
      @CollegeMeister  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As of now, strong AP Exam scores don't do anything to compensate for low SAT/ACT scores when applying to JHU. See more here about AP Exams: th-cam.com/video/z7FF9Idtdlc/w-d-xo.html
      Good luck.
