an easier +30 is: DRC 2hp 4hk l-arrow m-arrow (no delay needed, works on crouched enemy) no glued to the corner: DRC 5hp 4mp-4hk~ jmp~ divekick an interesting thing about +30 in the corner is that, with a light hooligan, it leads to an auto-timed grab. Both grab and overhead beat wake-up jab and are a high-low mix (grab loses to crouch ofc, and overhead is -4 on standing block). To beat od.dp, just delay the hooligan a bit and let it slide, it will avoid dps and be plus.
Ty for the video! Question: Why do you get more frames if you hit meaty? The math makes sense but this is my first fighter and don’t understand where the extra frame adv is coming from.
So every button has start up frames then you get the hit frames/active frames and you end with recovery frames. Now you generally get 2 to 4 active frames and when you press a button you will 99%of the time hit your opponent on the first active frame. How ever if they are waking up from a fall you can time the hit to be in the last active frame and that where we get extra plus frames. Since we get less recovery but he keep the same stun values.

This same setup can be applied to a wall splat after DI in the corner. DI > stHP xx light arrow > wait 1 frame > medium arrow > meaty OD knuckle

just a note this loses to wake up parry because they get a perfect parry but you can bait it using medium knuckle and go for a grab instead
If you grab them enough they will stop with wake up parrys
