The person interviewing her is an idiot. I had a boss like that. She tried to control literally everything and would re-do work that was already completely done because she didn’t like the way someone did it. Even if it was a perfect product in every way. She had to do it her way, or not at all. Which was terrible for our business because there is no way one person could do everything. By the time she was finished analyzing the work that was done, she had questions about the work that was already answered and understood by the entire workforce and we had already moved onto the next project. To settle this she would jump from past project to past project until she was so exhausted that she quit. Terrible boss. Won’t be missed.
Love her work (Remedios Varo's) Too bad she's cruel in this snippet, though. Cruel. Entitled. And, while I understand what she's saying, and the fact one tends to become unfiltered with age, the ego, the mind also exist in an artist...
This is Leonora Carrington, she is not cruel. The interviewer is asking leading questions that are steering the answers, and the interviewee feels uncomfortable.

She does understand but she’s doing the job of an interviewer, which is to elicit interesting or insightful answers from the subject.
