  • One of the ways we adorn the gospel (as it states in Titus 2:10) or make it beautiful is by the care and keeping of our homes. We have been given the responsibility, as Christian women, to the care and management of our homes.
In this episode, the hope in our time together is that we capture the reality of God's hand in every aspect of our lives as workers at home. There is purpose ladies being worked out in our normal day-to-day life. God is always at work behind the scenes.

I really needed this today and in this season of my life. I have been a full-time homemaker for most of my 30 year marriage. There are few sources of encouragement in this world for empty-nest homemakers. Thank you for speaking truth into my day today! ❤️☦️

Thank you so much for these videos. It’s so nice to have practical ways of looking at our homemaking, reminding us that what we do is important. So often the world beats us down, and I for one need the inspiration and encouragement you offer. I have been rewatching and listening as I work around my home and I really appreciate your sound Biblical encouragement and Truth, and you do it in a calm and soothing manner and without legalism. Thanks again

just saw this video and decide to stop and watch it. Thank you for sharing this portion of scripture. I have been a stay home wife for a long time. I always was a stay home mom too. Our children have been gone on their own for some time now. It is hard sometimes when your a stay home wife. There are times you feel like what am I doing or have to offer to God . Or you feel so many other woman have jobs or other things they are doing that you are not as busy as them. I find being empty nesters our home does not get terrible messy and I do get lonely sometime for other ladies to do things with. I do go to church am a Christian and I do enjoy being a stay home wife. Truly the world does not seem to value the term stay at home wife or mom. If a woman can work out side the house and also still take care of her home that is great. I just think sometimes when we are woman work outside the home then we have that plus our home to take care of and we get burn out. That is just my opinion. I guess I am old fashion in some ways. Or it seems like if we as women work outside the home say and have kids we are paying for daycare, someone to clean our homes etc etc and that costs money. Seem less expensive to just stay home. You choosing this part of scripture helps me to see I am pleasing God simply but taking care of my home and how I should be being a home maker. Thank you.

Hy Marci! I was just searching for Godly homemaking and I found you! I always asked myself how it would look like if older women would teach younger ones how to love their husband's and children etc. I have never seen older women teaching younger ones about those matters. I watched your video now and this is how it must look like I guess. Thank you!! I realized so many things! God bless you greetings from Cyprus

A lot of excellent reminders. Around 32mins you say "don't look forward" etc. The Bible has many references about planning ahead. Writing down a plan. Yes, we mustn't be anxious about the present, past or future but we must plan ahead with it all in His hands.

I would encourage the older women, If you see a younger woman who is struggling with the upkeep of her home, don’t judge, offer help. Such as, can I watch the kids for the afternoon while you catch up on your tasks?
I had a very traumatic event of a “ older saint” who happened to walk by, knock on the door, and bring herself inside my house. I admit, it was a wreck at that moment but her cutting comments brought so much shame. She said I wasn’t a good witness for Jesus and it was her job to tell me that.
