Thank you for showing us how you do this. What a wonderful way to reuse fibers and add texture to spinning.I appreciate you taking the time to make this video, you're always so inspiring!
I've just finished crocheting s multicoloured wool blanket and kept all the scrap. If thought about doing this, so glad to see your video! Thanks for the tutorial. It takes the guesswork out of my sometimes crazy ideas😊
Thanks for making this! I love knitting, crocheting, and spinning yarn. I have a lot of scraps of yarn left, and this might be a good way to use some of it up, especially because I love spinning art yarn! I have a lot of videos on my channel about spinning yarn and fiber preparation. You have a new subscriber! I love seeing what other people make.
I just sold my wheel as I'm honestly miserable with machinery but now I'm wanting to get some mini hand carders and try drop spindle. Thanks for showing your process (and for your ADHD/Autism vids).
Thank you SO much for this video. I've wondered how to use all the thrums and this video is amazing. Question: what TPI are your carders? And also, how would acrylics and cotton work this way?
Thank you very much, I'm glad you liked the video! My hand carders are 72pt. I find cotton cards mainly into finer threads and give a different texture, it might be better to blend the carded cotton together with some wool fibers, and the same with acrylics, although I think maybe the acrylics fibers might open up a bit more and be a bit less thready than the cotton.
I really appreciate your creativity, generosity, and quiet way of walking on our earth. You inspire me!
Thank you so much for your lovely comment!! 💗
