    I've built about a dozen sets of stairs so far and your video is very good. I'm looking forward to some day building a curved set of stairs and a spiral set too in quarter sawn oak. Should be a good challenge.

    by far the best staircase building videos and I have seen many of them. very fine woodworking.

    Good video. You could build it upside down. May be easier, but you need to check to make sure it is square

    Terrific video. I have been researching housed stringers. I just made all my wedges and purchased the material. Just have to get it acclimated to the environment.. in the meantime I have to practice the rabbet and dado cuts on some scraps. That's what I'm most nervous about.

    Next time you build a stair on site the way you’re doing it. Just build it up side down. It’ll go a lot easier and faster. Just make sure you start off square

    Over this side of the water in uk , We call the rebate a rebate ,like ree'bate not a rabbit , no rabbits were involved in the making of these stairs, lol, cheers!
