Nowadays, as I've been stricken and disabled mentally and physically over the years, and now with limited energy and fatigue, etc, I still managed to go to their concert 10 days ago. I am hooked now. I discovered songs I play on loop, and keep on discovering new ones. I am amazed at how I love all their spectrum of the opus. I also felt the need to blow off steam a little from all the difficulty of my life and I drank cherry liquor that I had on hand while I watched the live-streamed concert they had a couple of years ago. I wish to go to many more concerts now and to meet them.
This and Path vol.2 - pirated from some shady site (it was impossible to get it otherwise, and I’ve bought the album right after it was released in us). 24 f****ing 7. Over and over. Good times
Its not that its unpopular, its that there was copy writes issues with the video since most of it used a french blockbuster (translated the movie is Dark Portal) so it was re-uploaded a lot.
Because the only palatable music for our day and age seems to reference the act of copulating, or lack thereof. We are taught young how to not think for ourselves and think deeply. To questions what surrounds us. As a result, you don't have many with a rich taste in music. My take on it, at least. :o

I started to listen Apocalyptica with 12y old. Now i'm 32 and still impressed with their musics! The classic and the amazing NEVER DIE. Doesnt matteer how much time passes.

I kinda wish that they had stuck with a singer like this (if they felt so compelled to have one to begin with). The new permanent singer isn't BAD but his style of singing is just...different from this.
Apocalyptica's early stuff was mainly instrumental for so long, they have Franky Perez as the vocalist, he's fine. They also just had guest singers and cameos that were great to fill that part. But i do agree with you, I wish they stuck with Matthias Sayer, but he had his own band to worry about.
