@@Mike4metal. hes a great drummer.. him and Jon Allen of Sadus are my favorite thrash drummers.. wish I could meet these dudes and tell them how much I appreciate them.
You know I got to see Sadus open for Violence and Testament in Oakland back in the late 80”s! Andy Galeon was always my Favorite Thrash Drummer but I love all Bay Area shredders! Paul bostaph from Forbidden who went on to The Mighty Slayer! Will carrol! Mark Hernandez! The list goes on and on! The cool thing about the Bay Area scene is that they are all down to earth dudes! One of the best Thrash of all time, a side of: Hell Awaits, Legacy, Violent Restitution, Bonded By Blood, Persecution Mania, Beneath The Remains, and another classics equal level. Sean Killian you are the Man!!!!!!
+ButtsMcGeeson Five thrash metal albuns is very little and injustice. You or me or everyone can make a list full of classics not cited yet, like how " Disturbing The Noise" "Evil Invaders" "Show No Mercy" "Executioner Song" "Reing "Blood" " The Ultra Violence" " Schizophrenia" Pleasure to Kill"...the possibilities are infinites with albuns with same level.
Hah hah, I saw them in S.F. as well back in '89, with Death Angel....Testament was supposed to play as well, but rumor had it that they were pissed about Death Angel headlining....they did not show, but Vio-lence blew the roof off the place, and then Death Angel came out and took care of business.....their only album at the time was The Ultra Violence, and they played every song.....then the audience demanded more, so they played the song The Ultra Violence again.....the place was a near-riot
One of the best thrash metal songs/albums I've ever heard! Very underrated band and album. It should be on the top like Slayer's '86 album Reign in blood.
Loved these guys. These guys and Forced Entry were so amazing, but only the deep and curious music lovers discovered these gems (as well as Toxic) in the music store bins. The vocals are pretty cool to me. it was a change from most of the raspy growly vocals of the time.
Awesome! glad to know others are still jamming the good stuff from the 80's! I wore out 3 cassettes of this album back in the day... Wish I could find the whole album on CD today.
@QuorthonandCronos I will be 40 years old next month. I grew up with this music. Take heart. The majority of people back in High School when I was growing up hated Thrash Metal also. It is music not made for the boring masses.
You either really like the vocals, or you absolutely hate em. Sean brings a level of insanity, and terror to his otherwise "vocals". He doesnt sound like a trad. singer for a metal band, but rather someone who just escaped from an insane asylum and retreated to the bands recording studio. He isnt a narrator, but a participant to such macabre acts.

Not only a great thrash song but an incredible punk song too! You can really hear the hardcore influence in this song.
Sean killian's vocals are what made vio-lence so unique!!! One of the bay areas best!!! I love vio-lence!!!!!🤘
I can't argue that in any way. But this record in general is killer! One of my fav thrah albums of all time.
Perry Strickland jnr's drumming goes along way to making unique thrash too... one of the best thrash drummers no doubt..
