The plot of this film is influenced from the epic 'Mahabharata' where Karna and Arjuna are the sons of Kunti, who is broadly known as the mother of Pandavas. In the original Mahabbharata, Karna and Arjuna or any other Pandavas do not know they are brothers. They only come to know about it when Karna is about to die. There is obviously more to the story than what I mentioned. It would be a good base for you to know about the epics- Ramayana and Mahabharata, as there are many films which are influenced from or based on the epics.

I read the comments and couldn't find this info, I don''t why but I would like to add. The plot of this film is influenced from the epic 'Mahabharata' where Karna and Arjuna are the sons of Kunti, who is broadly known as the mother of Pandavas. In the original Mahabbharata, Karna and Arjuna or any other Pandavas do not know they are brothers. They only come to know about it when Karna is about to die. There is obviously more to the story than what I mentioned. It would be a good base for you to know about the epics- Ramayana and Mahabharata, as there are many films which are influenced from or based on the epics.

Yeah, those flowers are really popular because they are mustard flowers from the mustard fields... There used to be so many mustard fields back then...I don't know if they are seasonal...But whenever I used to go to my paternal grandparents' village in vacations, these flowers were the only thing visible on the grounds as far you can see....and everywhere... 😂😂
I went to the theatre to watch this film with my mother. I was in standard 3 in school. This song was something we'd hum then. So many memories flashed by.
