I live just a few miles away and have played a few tournaments on the Red Apple course. I've played White Lightning once in a tournament. The Red Apple course has homemade baskets but remain at the course. I haven't been there in a couple years, but the baskets in this video were only in place during tournaments. In general I found the courses to be a bit hard to navigate and quite muddy. Tee pads are a bit difficult to find and I remember once having to play around the cattle. There are definitely some big shots called for on the back of White Lightning. A bit more than I could handle. Ed and Kim are great people and excellent designers. I'm not a fan of 'primitive' courses in general.
Just played the course today, super helpful to help me navigate especially since some of the tee signs were buried in long grass today. Thanks guys
Glad it helped! I love that place.
Super chill. The vibe definitely matches the course
Thank you!

I had a more thorough response on this comment in the red apple video. Thank you for commenting and watching the video!
