Open is basically unlimited (comps, red dots etc) and most strikerfired pistols are in production where I can't compete with this. But I have shot a match in standard (no comps, no red dots, gun must fit in a box) with good results! More about the indian than the arrow, at least on this level :)

@@ChristofferEricsater they get the advantage of capacity and lower recoil, i get only better trigger pull. It depends a lot on the stage, but it is mostly experience. The 1911 is better only for difficult shots because of the nicer trigger! I did feel at a big disadvantage
Parin tonnin budjetti olisi ensimmäiselle aseelle ja .45:nen pitäisi olla. Sillä rahalla luulisi saavan lipaskuilulla varustetun nelivitosen, mutta aika harvassa näyttäisi olevan vaihtoehdot. Jos classicia päädyn joskus kokeilemaan, niin onko lipaskuilun asentaminen sallittua tuohon, esim. Dawsonin? Vähän sääntöjä silmäilin, mutta jäi epäselvyys asiasta.
Kyllä, classicissa on sallittua asentaa magwell kunhan se on max 35mm leveä (appendix D3 special condition 16.1). Tässä munkin Spartassa on Wilson Combatin EZ loader, jota en suosittele jos Dremel ei pysy kädessä. Ainakin Mec-Garin lippaita varten piti avartaa magwelliä aika paljon ja tehdä noille kiinnityskoukuille tilaa kahvalevyihin. Jos budjetti on pari tonnia, niin sillä vois katella esimerkiksi STP Sentryä. Siitä tosin ei ole henk koht kokemusta. Noista muista vastaavan hintaluokan 1911-pistooleista kannattaa heti unohtaa kaikki Coltit (pl. vanhat series 70 pistoolit, series 80 varauksin), Kimberit, Springfield Armoryt ja Rugerit. Sparta on tarjonnut ihan uskomattoman paljon pistoolia suhteessa alhaiseen hintaansa. Ainoat puutteet omasta mielestäni oli perinteinen etujyvä (vaihdoin kuidulliseen) ja kuusiokoloavaimella purettava rekyylijousenkara (vaihdoin toolless-malliin).

@@electricmohel5207 tietääkseni näissä on täysin vakiomittainen alarunko ja noi kahvalevyt itsessään taitaa olla ihan normikokoiset. Kahvapalat tosin on todella helppo homma vaihtaa, eli sen puolesta en jättäisi ostamatta jos tuo on ainoa huono puoli. Itsellä on vähän valmistajasta riippuen 10-12 koon räpylä eli ei mistään pienimmästä päästä, eikä Sparta ole tuntunut yhtään liian pieneltä käteen vaikka normaalisti ammunkin 2011-pohjaisella openilla. Pääseehän näitä pyssyjä käpistelemään esim Viranomaisella Helsingissä... Tuo perfect classicin paksuus taitaa olla pelkkä kahvapalan kuvioinnista johtuva harha, kun plunger tube näyttäisi peittyvän kaikilla yhtä paljon kahvapalojen takana...

I can recommend the sparta 100%. The gun is accurate enough and the build quality is sufficient. American pistols from the same price segment are practically rattlers. I haven't even had a single malfunction after I swapped the factory recoil spring to a 16 pound spring. As far as I know, all standard 1911 parts should fit, which kinda brings me to the only significant drawback of the pistol: in my opinion the factory guide rod is terrible. Having to use a hex key to field strip the gun is dumb. But it's easy to fix: just get a toolless guide rod, I'm running a Dawson. No idea about the sentry, zero personal experience. I would suggest it is even better than the Sparta, since it is wholly made in Germany.
@@LauriJantunen Thank you so much for the fast response. I want buy a 9mm 1911 but there are so many Models from diffrent manufactors which makes a decission very hard. Also the CZ 75 SP01 is pretty nice. I want the gun for static 25m precision shooting
@@Keviin2310 The Sparta has a significantly better trigger from the factory than the SP01 will ever have. The front sight sadly doesn't have a fiber optic which might make shooting a bit awkward in lower light, but shouldn't be a problem for 25m precision. If the capacity of 10 rounds doesn't have a negative impact on your shooting, then I would absolutely choose a 9mm Sparta over the SP01. I have shot around 500 rounds with the SP01 too, so I have some experience on both pistols.
@@LauriJantunen Like you said, fiber optic isnt necessary. At some Shooting Associaton it isnt allowed, only standard iron sights. And at Competition you are allowed to load only 5 Rounds max. Seems like the Sparta brings more for half the value of SP01. Have you do a trigger tuning on the Sparta? Some gunsmiths here in Germany offer trigger polish for the Sparta. And would you pick 9x19 or 45acp? due to higher costs for rounds the 9mm is cheaper
@@Keviin2310 yeah I had a trigger job done right away because I'm a bit picky. It necessarily doesn't need the polish but since you are buying it for competition I would get it done. In your case I'd choose 9mm for cheaper ammo and more choice. I chose the .45ACP to help train recoil control for my open gun in IPSC.

This is factory loaded ammo, thus it's major. Not 100% if Magtech or Geco, probably Magtech considering the time of filming
