Was she that desperate for money and fame to write about a book based on google articles and second source information? Did this lady even bother to investigate Aaliyah’s crash in person? Interview the first responders, etc? No she didn’t.
You definitely in your feelings because at the end of the day, although you should respect the wishes of somebody’s family members, especially Aaliyah because it seems like she did hold her family in high regard, and I’ll never take that away from her but her mom did not protect her daughter. She was too busy. Trying to get her daughter to fame and saw R. Kelly as a conduit. Y’all can try to downplay it as much as you want, but it is what it is like it’s the truth she has more protection of Aaliyah and death than she did, when Aaliyah was alive.

i don't know Kathy but im just glad somebody wrote a book about Aaliyah...if her estate wanted it done they would have put one out to control any narratives. At least the book was written from a fan!

A fan wouldn’t go against the wishes of Aaliyah’s family. I’d rather wait for them to release a book in their own time or read autobiographies from Aaliyah’s friends (Missy Elliot, Timbaland, etc) where they knew Aaliyah.
@@adriana4331 I feel where ur coming from...but in this industry there will be people and companies quick to do unofficial books and movies just to make a book hence the lifetime movie and other books that were written...which is why the family must jump on top of these things...I know they are still grieving but they have to make sure that they are keeping her legacy alive...selena family is grieving too but they all work together to keep her memory alive...and maybe because Selena has a bigger family I dunno but long story short the family has to do thr proper things to ensure they are more in control of Aaliyahs legacy instead of outsiders
There's 3 books about Aaliyah that describes her life and many unknown facts about her perfectly out there y'all clearly don't research but okay. Books that explain her life from birth to death, all her interviews and off camera interviews better than this woman had to offer.
