I own a Jupiter 8 and this video just reminds me of how bad I actually am at programming mine and probably synthesizers in general. However, I was probably 5 or 6 years away from coming to exist during your “session days”. Not meant to be an insult, though. Maybe I need to get up out of this pathetic chair and really put my back into it. Great vids!

Thanks for the feedback - I am sure you are better at programming than you realise!!!

Iconic synth. I have seen that you also own a Jupiter 4 (my fav Jupiter). I have to do with a Jupiter 50, great synth but no classic. In combo with KingKorg and Moog Subsequent a lot of fun. The other day updated the TR-8s with CR-78 kit. With e.piano from Jup50 and bass from Korg a nice vibe I get out of those. Not as epic gear you have yet a lot of fun.

Still think, the JP8 is the most underrated synth ever

How did you get it to stereo pan? Slip / layer with separate outs?

When I used Dual - it layered 2 Jup 8 patches - & it pans them left & right - about 80% each way ( not hard pan) - when the synth was in whole - it sounds more mono
