You are a vampire? Well, that explains a lot. 🙂 I wonder as to what your magical abilities are as well, besides your never-ending thirst for blood? Also...my fursonas use magic too.
For the 0 people who haven't played Aria of Sorrow, spoilers. I honestly feel the strongest character could go any way with Prime Julius, Dracula, Soma, or Chaos (if it counts.) Chaos seems like an obvious #1, but it could a potential Kid Icarus Uprising... (MAJOR SPOILERS) Dyntos situation, where Dyntos himself is easily the strongest character in the entire universe by proxy of his creations, but how strong he is in combat without his creations remains to be seen. While the comparison isn't 1-1 since we fight Chaos, I don't know if it was weakened by the Vampire Killer's presence sealing Dracula's castle away or how strong it is in the lore compared to beings like the Belmonts. That's why I bring up the possibility of Dracula being stronger. Speaking of, the possibility of Dracula being stronger than Prime Julius doesn't sound right immediately, but the thing is that the Demon Castle War was just that: A war. I don't know if Julius was alone when fighting Drac' or how much he contributed. It's implied that he defeated Drac' without the Vampire Killer since it was sealed away in the castle, so if he pulled that off singlehandledly he's not only stronger than Dracula, but (IMO) the strongest Castlevania character, period. Then there's Soma, who's also hard to rank. How close was he CANONICALLY to actually killing Julius (or being killed by Julius) in Aria? How does this version of Julius stack up to his younger self, especially without the whip? Soma killed Chaos, but as mentioned that thing's power is also a mystery. Is Soma's arsenal of weapons enough to make up the experience difference between him and Dracula? I haven't played Dawn yet, but from mild spoilers I've read, the Vampire Killer is weaker due to losing it's purpose (killing Dracula, which also makes it's wielder weaker by extensions) and other beings like Dracula/Soma (and by extension, possibly Alucard) have their powers derived from Chaos, thus making them weaken when Chaos is no more. Basically, Dawn probably doesn't help much because everyone is probably weaker. In conclusion: I don't know. If I had to make a top 5, it'd be: 5. Simon Belmont (even if he dies, any foe that somehow kills him is also killed instantly due to testosterone overdose, courtesy of Simon's blood.) 4. Alucart (because everyone loves a girl with a big sword.) 3. Julius Belmont (he has a beard and has electric guitars in his theme. You don't want to mess with a guy with those attributes!) 2. Soma Cruz (he can use a gun, which is obviously the best choice in a setting where no one uses guns!) 1. Maria Renard Jokes aside, great video!
Hard to say because it's complicated. Does the fact that Alucard used anti-holy equipment against Richter in Symphony make him stronger than Richter? Also people seem to forget, Alucard isn't a vampire, he's a dhampir or Half-Vampire like Blade. I'm inclined to say that Dracula, Chaos, or Galamoth might be the strongest given how tough they get when it comes to defeating them. Then there's the really wierd Time Reaper from Judgement, which while it's a non-canon Crossover like Kingdom Hearts, still is possibly stronger than the Usual Grim Reaper.
I belive the scene you are referring to was in Aria of Sorrow after Julius regains his memory. However, that being said though, there are two things that needed mentioning. 1. Soma by that point wasn't "Dark King Soma". Soma knew Julius was an ally, so he would have a reason to hold back as well. 2. Julius in Dawn of Sorrow is never to implied to be doing the same thing. Which is why Julius in that game seems to be less hesitant to use his full power unlike in Aria, but that can be attributed to his memory loss. Who really knows. Glad to have answered this, and thanks for stopping by 😊
This channel's become my favorite during the month of October! Love having my Castlevania flame rekindled with all of your videos. :) Any chance we can look forward to a full length review of Castlevania Lament of Innocence besides the top ten Castlevanias video?
Lore wise: Honorable mentions: Simon, Shannoa, St Germain and Leon. 6. Juste, maximum and Richter: but all accounts these three have shown the Pinnacle of monster hunters and the Belmonts. Juste: having easily the most powerful mage of the Belmonts with the weapon training of their boost he is leaps above the rest prior to himself with his only lesser feat being defeating Dracula's weakest state being his wraith. Maximum: this one is somewhat hard since according to juste himself when defeating "Evil side of maximum" that maximum was much stronger than that fight implying they are equal if not being possibly higher than juste by unknown degree though this could have been a demoralizing tactic by juste. Richter: taking what juste laid out and truly applied it to item crush with truly separated him from most Belmonts and his skills with weapons and having the will and power to control the castle itself. 5. Johnathan: Johnathan: this boy is perhaps the most insane when you think about it feat wise, he was able to unlock the full power of the whip even though he wasn't a Belmont and defeat a mirror of Richter though it needs to be explained since it's a mirror image was it full powered or a fraction like for soma in the dawn games because if it's full powered that just insane. 4. Death: Death (physical) : this one most don't think of because every time he was face it was the physical form of death which has shown to weaver in strength this due mainly to who or what is in control of the castle at the time. 3.Dracula and Castlevania: Dracula: at full power has quite frankly been nigh undefeatable. Seeing how he has down things that should be impossible, conquer death twice( immortality and physical and universal concepts of death) control chaos in its pure form not to mention the realm of chaos. Most all powerful beings we have seen in Castlevania have been below his very being in the verse. Which we can't leave out the castle being his second half. Castlevania: the castle itself is a sentient being that has shown control over realms, monster even death itself in both physical and concept being that it was immortal too with a life link to Dracula making them both two sides of the same coin. 2/3. Soma: Soma: being the reincarnation of Dracula, he originally had only a third of his power since being one of three but later regained the other two, be defeated and crunch the realm of chaos and more on his list he was likely as strong as Dracula (1999 demon Castle war) or possibly stronger to what degree is unknown. 1. Alucard and Julius: Alucard is technically the most powerful vampire all though I will admit to it being bull shit since he needed a team to originally take his dad but honestly he was likely 90% of the work and after that event went to sleep to only gain so much power to solo his farther. It know in lore that alucard was second to his farther in strength and seeing how 390+ years passed from him taking out Dracula it's safe to say he power may have grown even pass Dracula himself. Julius: while most of his fears are unknown we know be was able to stop WWIII(Demon Castle War) be it with the worlds help, going to killing Dracula at his strongest, destroy the vampire killer and even killing death (physical) the scariest part killing castle itself. He has shown to being age 56 and holding back on soma with his most infamous feat using GRAND CROSS to destroy the barrier/realm that soma(who should have the full power of Dracula) and aulcard(who has surpassed Dracula) could not break it. Also it should be noted that most of his time shown was regaining the skills he had. Like to point out that Julius and alucard having to myself one of the most bs conversation about soma should be fall to evil that only one of them will just go kill him which crazy for a nonchalant conversation. 0. Aeon and death 3000: Aeon: truly is the most powerful seeing how he is a time traveler and master of time with abilities over death both physical and universal, being able test those like Dracula and aulcard to see if they have what it takes to make a team which is wild considering they can take out most of the verse on their own. It should be noted that judgment is cannon what year it takes place is debatable but likely in the 3000s since he wants to kill the new death. It should be know it take the other characters from different points in time. The full extent of his powers are unknown. Death 3000: This is short, the fact aeon needed a possible team for it speaks enough. I may of wrote a lot haha, enjoy the videos you post and I love how the skits are episodes.
Yeah, Lore Wise, there are so many contenders for possible most powerful characters. I didn't go over games like Grimoire or Judgement all too much, as whether or not they are canon is questionable to me. So at least in Grimoire's Case, it was a slight "look at this compared to this" sort of thing. For that reason, I tried to stick things that I knew were canon, and things that I can more easily measure or explain. Stuff like the weaponry section or maybe even the power of dominance section. Regardless though, it's fun to hear others thoughts on this matter.
@@CherryfulValentine I fully understand what you're saying this was just a top of the head so far, I agree it's fun to hear others picks, you should release more videos like this.
cherry my dear, i know we both have eternal life but that doesn't mean u should make me wait eternally for a new vid. cuz eternity without ur videos would be worse torture than deepest parts of hell itself...mby even worse than Castlevania adventure...
So... Shanoa is the most bottom tier Castlevania hero because she could not kill Dracula. Hilarious that a 12 year old girl is leagues stronger than a 20 year old woman.

I like how Soma can kill Anti-God and house hundreds of demon souls, but still can’t handle a glass of wine!🍷💥
4:00 You just made me imagine DIO stoping time with The World when fighting Dracula and him pulling a Jotaro after the Road Rolla DAH scene.

Wait, what about Soma himself saying that Julius had to hold back?
