I have never seen this. I know Donna because we worked together a long time ago on an off-Broadway show. I find this to be a very revealing glimpse into how sensitive she is and how devoted she is to her craft. Thank goodness she did not stop working. She has given so many of us her gifts on a continuing basis and her talents are just overwhelming. Every time we see each other, it's as if it were yesterday and she has such a big big heart. I would love to see a "Mame" or a "Gypsy" or something with her in it. Another Tony, I guess would be on the way.

Hello, Countertenor. She is everything you mention. She never forgets. She has a remarkable memory and her heart is boundless. I hope she does do another big show.

Wow, this is a gorgeous interview, thanks! Donna speaks so well about her craft. I’d love to have caught her in this production. You know, a lot of people say she only won the Tony because of the Julie Andrews complications that season - I disagree; I still believe Murphy would have won regardless. Hers was a strong, powerful Anna for the 1990s.

That body mic picked up almost ASMR-esque sounds on her and it's like art!
