- Pit stop and tire strategies are key to winning online lobbies in the Forza GT Spec series. One of them strats is the no pit stop strategy running on hard compound tires. Car used is the 2018 BMW M Motorsport M8 GTE on Indianapolis Grand Prix Circuit.

Fantastic race, even tho' I'm a bit disappointed by the fact that there's no mandatory pitstop in GT races
I prefer that than entering the pits without changing tires like in some GT races
Well technically there is cause if you don't pit, your tire will drop off
Medium to soft is actually a good strategy but it's up to if you wanna do no stops on the Medium or hard also using softs at the start is a guaranteed stop on long races or your tires just DIE

Really interesting how the two different strategies are both viable, running on hards vs doing one pit stop
Considering how severely the 1st dropped places and finished 4th after leading pretty much the entire race, "viable" is a strong stance to take.

I think we need longer races with multiple stops to make this strategy really efficient. Nice race.
You can see his car starts sliding considerably more on the last lap, this strat would not work for a longer race.

@@Ze6rah for sure i mean they have to adapt tire durability. 60 or 80 laps for endurance racing will be cool af. Also allows good pilots to come back if you are pushed away, something that is almost impossible on every decent/random pilot. With 5 or 7 laps.Take decision on tire type with evolutive weather is a game changer too.

At the same time 360 controller is one of the best controllers made (in my opinion) but i still think its really good
There are actually lot of racing games players that plays with Keyboard (including me)
It's just either they aren't much known, or just don't really upload vids, using keyboard is really easy if you've been doing that since childhood
I can use both with no problem (i'm no pro though)

In F1, it's now an exception to see a real battle for P1.
Another domination cycle in F1 made me stop watching this stuff. People saying "iT's AlSo AbOuT mIdPaCk rAcInG" are coping hard while there would be fuckall racing in mid pack without DRS. Also new rags made DRS trains a thing, so it's almost unbearable to watch this shit.

I've watched your FH content from time to time. Back then it looked so easy for you like a child play. I must admit, seing you have genuine battles not always for first place, loosing like here to better tire strategies, and generally seing you playing a bit more demanding game is so fun. Forza Mottorsport suits better your driving skills rather than Horizon. Cheers!
Simulation games in general have a more competitive community of racers who will push you and force you to become better to win. By the time you return to playing arcade racers, it's merely child's play at that point. Gran Turismo developed my understanding for cornering and throttle discipline so well that every other game I played was a cake walk.

@@jreelMy cornering technique initiation came from the GT2 manual. That thing was a bible on racing technique. The Dual Sense is unbeatable for throttle and braking feel.
I played GT7 for hundreds of hours and when I came back to FH5 I was a different beast on the triggers. It's definitely the best racing game on a gamepad ever made.
@@lammyjammer6670 It is because it forces you to discipline yourself when racing. Too much throttle and you'll hit a wall or fish tail, which can lead to you losing control. Too little throttle and you lose valuable time around the course. Throttle control and trailbraking techniques must be applied as well as knowing when to cut gears and downshift or upshift for cornering. That's not even getting into planning your fuel consumption and tire wear strategically in a race. Gran Turismo 7 is truly a great experience for gamers.
I just love this game man. Yes, it has things to get fixed and I believe they will do it soon. Just tell me a game which did not have any issue by the time they released. I mean, racing online with other people, building up your strategy, think about your tires, constant pressure from the guy behind.... makes your hands sweaty and thats what I like.

@@drravenbr1061 Maybe its because I'm mostly a Horizon player, but the physics seem realistic but arcady enough, also very well grounded, but that should be the bare minimum for motorsport. The visuals are insane, especially on PC, and even on Xbox too. The multiplayer is the best we have gotten in the franchise imo, with the addition of safety ratings really helping out. The only complaints I really have are the customization and dullness. The car points idea is good, but has bad execution. You can't even upgrade a second car of one you've already had and driven, you have to max it out again. The game also just feels somewhat bland, even in the menu sometimes. It feels like it's missing something. There is also a lack of tracks that should have been added. I didn't play Motorsport 7 but ik there were like 30 and in this one, it's only around 20. Besides that, if you want to have fun, the multiplayer is the place to go. 7.5/10 game (better than the past few installments imo)

There is but I don’t quite understand how it works fully inside of free play. I did a 4 hour race set to varied and it rained the entire time

I've seen people upset about car sounds after FH5 but cars sound really good in this game to me, no? Sound is almost lifelike
I played Fh5 about 700h+ and own all cars. So far I'm satisfied with the car sounds in FM. I only have about 40 of the 500 cars yet, so I cant speak for all of them. But so far I feel like they are an upgrade. Also hearing other peoples roaring engines while passing is so much better in FM. Fh5 is awful in that regard.
I also prefer the Rx7 sound in FM over the one in Fh5. The Huayra BC is also a blast.. almost sounds like the real one, while the one in Fh5 sounds like a vacuum cleaner.
I dont wanna hate on the Fh5 sounds tho. The Pagani huayra R sounds amazing in Fh5. My main reason to play Fh5 over Fh4 are the great car sounds. And FM is another step up from that.
Cars like the Essenza sounds really bad in FM compared to the one in FH5, so it's kinda let down since it's one of Forza's latest addition

@@hookinsu7842FH4 has the worst sound design in the franchise, honestly. Also I’d like to add that I prefer the stock sound of the GR Supra in this game over FH5, and that was already good.
Some of them sound terrible, almost like they sound flat. Best word i could think of lol.

Good decision making skills. Not going for certain gaps and letting others make the mistakes. I am surprised that the driver that kept smacking into you didn't have more penatlies

Its crazy seeing what fresh and softer tires looks like in a racing environment, almost looks like they got cheat codes on the way the plow through the corners so much faster than you.
the corvette c8 has a breaking technique by splitting brakes in 1-3 phrase, before the corner and during the corner

How long does a pitstop take to complete? I feel strategies will make a good chunk of difference in FM and I'm happy about it.
I think they should add longer style of pit stops as a option. It wouldn’t take too much coding time I would think

By seeing you play the game, how could people say FM is a bad game?
The immersion of reality in this game is astonishing, I can see when you get a glimpse of late-breaking or early-breaking it will affected in the next corner.
I never have this feeling when watching a racing game, and I say `Cmoon !!`, impressive!

@@blastoid37 Adding to your point as well I've been playing the GT spec race and I barely touched the builders cup, meaning I don't even need to care about the car leveling system itself because for spec races you can't even modify your car and you can only do tunes. So I don't really mind about the car leveling system lol
the multiplayer part is really good but the single player campaign is awful, and that's where most people play

TCS helps you a lot when tyres are finished. I play without TCS, and its barely playable with no tyres. I need to PIT also with Hard tyres, so i take mediums and at lap 5 or 6 (depends) i go to pit.
Isso é horrível, perdi incontáveis corridas por na última volta não ter tcs e os rivais sim, mesmo largando em p1 com folga, e não adianta preservar pneu pois o desgaste é o mesmo.

Does this also works on TCR civics? I've seen people going with softs and putting high load of fuel and doing the entire laps on them.
Touring car should run on mediums since TC races are shorter and medium last the entire race.

Kartz was probably on M tires and thought it would last the whole race. He was 15 sec ahead of grandma, suddenly his tires just went dead and came dropping like crazy and making mistakes.

How would you describe the handling model in this game? I've seen people say it's better while others say in ways Its worse than previous titles
people who say it’s worse are idiots. Feels so much better on controller, and according to YT channels, also feels good on a wheel. It’s much easier to judge loss of grip now and being smooth is very fun and satisfying. I play with an elite series 2 controller.
For me it's about the same as the others. Street cars are kinda stiff and understeer but the race cars handle with more response.
I play with a wheel and the physics are considerably better than any of the other Forza titles. The touring cars in particular feel amazing to drive.
From what I've seen, the game feels perfect on controller and if you use wheel you need to tune a bit until it feels good.

There are no settings for KB. Just assists such as ABS on, normal steering and TCS Sport.
Нфс ворлд была крутой игрой вне конкуренции совмещая легендарные части.С каждым годом доната становилось всё больше но все равно игра была хороша.Да и изначально будучи школьником я не мог позволить себе купить лицензионную гоночную игру а нфс ворлд давала возможность поиграть в целую ммо гонку и на тот 2011 это было круто.Насчет игр по фильмам то конечно они никогда не уровня другим и особенно ААА играм по сюжету,масштабу,графике.Но сразу вспоминаются игры по матрице которые хоть и не были передовыми но все равно были хороши

How does the penality system works?
Penalties for certain contacts seem to be well implemented (strict enough that there are no kamikazes, but also flexible when it comes to a close race where players touch each other). Later, if you play dirty, you will be placed with other dirty players, and if you play clean, you will be placed with other clean players, based on a metric that categorizes players
Wish they would’ve used the current GT cars instead of the last generation.
It’s frustrating how many current cars aren’t in the game, isn’t it
