Since that is Linux - it should work! Keep in mind that this system would be for testing only since it would lack (I am assuming) the recommended resources for a production Splunk system.
YES! I am just now back to my TH-cam channel after a long absence due to a bunch of reasons. When I came back - I was amazed at the number of requests for more Splunk! This is great news. Thank you.
Hello everyone, I downloaded and installed Splunk but each time I try to open. It takes me to a web page that doesn't open anything in particular. Just can't vreach the page. My system is 64 bit 4GB RAM Windows. Thanks ... Looking forward to helpful suggestions in the comments
Splunk offers a trial - and then after the trial expires, you can use a free license. The issue with the free licensed version of Splunk is that you can only import a relatively small amount of data per day. Although, for learning purposes in a lab, this would be all you need really.
Woah! Last Pass? After so many breaches you just have to say the product and service is bad at this point. Not using them, & don't think anyone in the community recommends using last pass. They don't have users/customers best interests in mind. IMO...
What an excellent Splunk training! I'm eagerly anticipating more content.
Thank you so much - I am trying to carve out time to make more videos on Splunk here as they were a great success.

I am guessing you already thought of this, but just in case - did you check all possible SPAM catchers?
Is it possible to set it up on a Raspberry Pi 4?
