Just a quick heads up. If you're lacking the decorations for Rapid Fire Up, the Great Wroggi Headpiece has Rapid Fire Up Lvl 2. Comes with a little extra Evade Extender on top of it (it's actually probably better than the Ludroth piece, hindsight is a bitch lol). Also in case anyone asks, you get Frocium from mining nodes in the Frozen area and you get Tough Claws from the little Hermitaurs, or usually just as quest rewards. Happy hunting.

I am about to build this today. Just hit HR and need to get building. I have been using Nargas LBG with RF Pierce 1 and it's really rather low damage. Thanks for the great guide! EDIT Oops I should have seen this is Master Rank hahaha! I need to find a Low HR guide.
For low HR you should just be able to use the Defender stuff. They put in gear for the game to accelerate your progress through the base game so you can get to Sunbreak faster. I sorta don't like that they do that since it invalidates all the pre-MR gear, but it be what it be. Not sure if you have access to it without Sunbreak though.
@@VaulickTheCrow Ya I like killing the monsters and putting together their gear. I don't see the defender set yet on the xbox game pass version I am on. Wonder if I need to actually buy it or something.
@@VaulickTheCrow ahhhh So they added a guild cross set and remove defender. Guild Cross was not as good as defender I read. I crafted my own stuff anyways hahaha
So did they change what armor does what? Cause royal ludroth and hermitaur don’t give me those skills they give me focus/marathon runner or guard and quick sheath

@@VaulickTheCrow no you’re fine. I’m just a noob who can’t seem to make a good build lol everyone says use pierce builds but I like normal mode. I can’t seem to make a good gun (I really hate having to grind an entire tree for one higher rarity weapon, so stupid) it’s annoying farming decos too and I can’t for the life of me get a good talisman
Typically I eat for Feline Booster and Felyne Temper, last one is up to you depending on what you need. Felyne Temper will increase your damage in return for harsher deviation, but the Sniper gems should take care of that.
It's not a stupid question. I'm currently making a video that is a primer for just about everything LBG. I would be out already, but premiere deciding to corrupt most of it and fail all the backups :(.
It requires a Diablos Tailcase and a Firestone, so you'd likely need to be farther along in the game. That's pre-Sunbreak stuff though, you can actually make the Kamura Warrior Bowgun without making all the previous bowguns in the line.
I actually haven't messed much with HBG yet, but since HBG doesn't have access to Rapid Fire, you can just drop all the Salvo Gems. For a HBG using this build I would definitely use Normal 3's, and enough absorber/reload decorations to put you to fastest reload and lowest recoil while using Critical Distance. It's tough to say without a bit of research though. I'm working on a LBG shotgun video right now, but I might make a heavy bowgun video at some point.
You'll need to keep updating the weapon and giving your armor upgrades to stay a bit current, but otherwise yes. The Kamura gun actually upgrades quite easily. There are a couple of monsters that just have terrible gunner hitzones all over, but all ammos and gunner builds will struggle on those.
