Hi! Yes, I think this would be a good recipe for silicone molds, too. If you are planning to coat the cake/molds afterwards, place the mousse into the freezer for 30 minutes before removing from molds.

No, the packaging actually calls for cold water once the gelatin dissolves :) The ice water will cool it down faster. Do not pour warm jello over the mousse!

Hi! You can make one large cake using a springform pan. Maybe you can use disposable plastic cups for individual servings?

The chocolate won't affect the flavor too much, it's added more for consistency and helps set the mousse :)

Yes! If you want to make a custard base instead of the sweetened condensed milk, that will work well, too :)

Won't the iced water you poured into the strawberry jello make it not firm up well? Like won't it dilute the effect of the strawberry jello?
