when you have pigmented lips (purplelish, darker in the mouth corners) like mine, the technique is to apply a nude pink lip liner then you can use your favourite lipstick, lip tint or lip oil. In that way, you can achieve the same color. Every lips has different tone and pigment so that lipstick doesn't look the same at every person :) hope this helps
