এবার সরাসরি ক্রিকেট বোর্ডের পরিচালনা পর্ষদের পদত্যাগ দাবি করেছে বিএনপি। ঢাকা মহানগর উত্তর-এর সদস্য সচিব আমিনুল হকের নেতৃত্বে মানববন্ধন হয়েছে মিরপুর স্টেডিয়ামের সামনে। যোগ্য সংগঠকদের দিয়ে ক্রিকেট পরিচালনার আহবান তাদের। একইদিন সাকিব আল হাসানকে প্রকাশ্যে ক্ষমা চাওয়ার আহবান জানিয়েছেন তারা।

সাকিব আল হাসান তো জনগণের সমর্থনে নির্বাচিত হয়েছে তবে তাকে কেন বয়কট করা হবে বয়কট তাদেরই করা হোক যারা তার বিরুদ্ধে কথা বলছে সাকিব আল হাসান যদি বিএনপি সমর্থন করতো তবে তাকে আজ এই পরিস্থিতির সম্মুখীন হতে হতো না
