God seeing this video, gives me a little bit of sense of relief. Me and my wife are traveling for the first time with our 4year old boy and 2 year old girl and I get anxiety just thinking about all the what if with kids. More so like being judged by people who don't have kids and don't know how kids are sometimes and my wife tells me why do I care. I DO NOT get stressed about ANYTHING in life, literally the most laid back person but thinking of traveling with kids gets me super stressed and anxious.
Seeing this is very reassuring. My partner and I love to travel, but I fear having kids would force me to stop traveling, or compromise on traveling in the way I enjoy (going to place very different from my home and trying to experience an unfamiliar culture). This makes me feel like it would still be possible to travel to interesting places with kids.
We've travelled a bit with our kiddo and it was very doable! The only major difference was just having to adjust our pace. We couldn't try to hit more than one or two planned things per day - slow exploring in urban areas worked much better, because it allowed us to work around our kid's nap/diaper/eating cycles. Being able to stop and spend a leisurely 45 mins in a cafe to feed kiddo/have a snack/diaper change would basically happen a few times a day - made us start researching good cafes and restaurants to sample and we did pack books to read while we chilled. We combo fed kiddo so cafe's worked the best, because we could hand bottles to the barista and say "fill with hot water to this line, then cold water to this line" and get the perfect temperature every time for formula without having to stress - I specifically purchased little formula packets that you could tear open and dump in without having to measure. It was also an adventure finding baby supplies in local stores. A lot will depend on how your kiddo sleeps in unfamiliar places. Ours is pretty chill (would nap in her stroller and we bought a blanket to drape over it to make it darker) so long as she has us and her blankie, and she's good so long as we follow her bedtime routine. There was definitely several days of weird sleeping due to jet lag when we returned, so just take that into account. I don't know where you're located, but we also discovered that there's several baby equipment rental services that service nearly all the continental US - so we didn't have to bring a pack and play or chair - we were able to rent one and have it delivered to our airbnb and picked up, both in NYC and california. Pricing is pretty ok - definitely worth not having to lug all that stuff on an airplane.
Lake Cuomo, Tokyo , Switzerland...the title should be : where to travel with kids when you have an unlimited budget. Because these are very pricy destinations
@@surlespasdondine saying Italy when I refer to a specific place that is not at all representative of Italy is like saying that France is not expensive when I'm referring to st Tropez , or USA is not expensive when I'm referring to Manhattan. Just check for to the top 10 most expensive destinations in Italy, I'm pretty sure that lake Cuomo will be in there. Or maybe you are just rich and it looks cheap to you.
My mom was born in Taipei and grew up there. We visited there twice as a family where we took a van and drove around the whole island. Taiwan is incredible and yes Taipei truly is one of the best cities out there. Also have you seen Taiwan's Covid numbers?? its also the safest now too
I went travelling around the world with my parents, they just stuck me in the corner or usually a random playground or sandpit with a bunch of local kids. Best times evr
I like the summary but i agree, that the costs of travelling to Japan or Costa Rica is just very high. I live in Switzerland but never went to Jungfrau, we have here lots of others mountains cheaper than Jungfrau, also it might be a risk to go to the top of over 3000 due to the oxygen lack. I go to Como often and love it. But i don't see much as family friendly. Driving along the lake takes time , villages do not have playgrounds , only in the top of the lake you can bath. For me como and italy means crowds. It is however very nice to have a great gelato.
hello. I'm a big fan! I recently became a father, and I would like to know your point of view about posting photos/videos of our children on the Internet. Did you struggle with the dilemma of whether to publish or not? Do you think there are positive points that counter the negative points we hear so much on the internet? Are there reasons for concern? As you are influencers who have probably experienced this dilemma, I think a video/publication that addresses this subject would be interesting. Thank you and keep up the good work.
Your top 5. These aren't just the places to travel with kids. In general as long as the place is safe and clean, kids can travel anywhere in the world. My favourite is actually Spain which is not on the list. They have beaches, nature, delicious healthy food, friendly people; parks and playgounds everywhere even in big cities.
Hi could you guide where all I can take my children in Taiwan , planning a vacation in the month of may 2024 , didn’t come across noodle making and tea picking activities anywhere in the sites . Thanks very much 😊
A tip to save research for us viewers is maybe flash a QR code with a google map link when you're referring to specific locations (Given I am watching this on a computer and my phone is free to scan/open/save the location on google maps). Btw, love the tips!
Wow this video is ridiculous, what kind of kids do you have? Because most of these places are more suitable for adults that like to just chill and take in culture than for kids, kids would prefer places like Euro Disney in France, islands like Tenerife,.. Orlando florida.. your talking about Costa Rica and Taiwan 😂 most kids my own included are pretty hyped and like alot of kiddie stuff to do, water parks theme parks, are your kids hippies? 😂😂
I love it when people recommend Japan. I’m originally from Tokyo and it makes me so happy to see kids having so much fun!
We love it!
Is it welcoming and friendly to people of colour; black people?
Playgrounds on mountains is genius! What a wonderful way to make it more family friendly. Great video!
Taipei Tokyo and Europe in general are very safe for the travelling with kids

I would recommend researching travel hacking to lower the cost if you would like to travel.

Where would you recommend travel with adventure options for 17, 19 year old boys family vacay?
Your husband seems educated. He should make documentaries.
So funny. I was just thinking the same thing. Confirmed?
