There's no stealth system, but it is possible to go unnoticed by the demons if you stay out of line of sight. Since the demons also fight each other, it's possible to watch an entire arena kill itself. However, demon damage is so low compared to yours, it takes minutes for demons to kill each other, where Doomguy takes seconds. So, yeah, anything resembling stealth in DE is incredibly slow and boring, with no reward
I mean... You can be _sneaky, i guess?_ There isn't an outright stealth *mechanic,* but you can dance around enemy aggro ranges & stuff so you don't get overwhelmed I suppose.
Doom's stealth mechanics follow the tried and true stealth philosophy, if no one is alive then no one saw you.
This is a game where you need all your weapons. Picking and choosing certain ones will end up getting you killed over and over. Enemies all have certain weak points that certain weapons can be used to destroy.

This might be true, but the original doomguy looked very different from the chief. It wasn't until the praetor suit was introduced that the two became identical in appearance.

For the weapons in the game.
You can technically just use any 1 weapon basically all the time. Adds spawn constantly, and your ammo refil button recharges a pip regularly, so you'll always have ammo, and every enemy takes damage from every weapon. Extra true for the starting pistol, which has infinte ammo.
However, the more weapons you use, the quicker you kill stuff, and the quicker you kill stuff the worse at the game you can be and still make progress.
You can also use more weapons and be good at the game, which kills stuff even faster and means you can progress even faster, until eventually you kill yourself.

As a short answer why Mister Satan is Doomguy, he just took the form of the strongest existence besides himself iirc. Kinda like how God/Jubileus takes a form reminiscent of Bayonetta in her game.
It's actually because the Doom Slayer is from a different reality than the one this game and the previous one take part in and the Doom Slayer is his universe's counterpart to the Dark Lord.
Doom slayer being devil's double was supposed to be a plot twist at the end of the The Ancient Gods 2 but modders spoiled it by making a mod that removes he's helmet in cutscenes before the DLC was even announced

The game forces you to use every single weapon you have through a variety of means, certain enemies are not “weaker” to specific weapons but are more easily countered with them, the marauder for example has very short windows where it can actually be attacked which means you wanna use a shotgun or rocket launcher, it doesn’t take any more damage from them than any other enemy but when you only have about a second to get damage in you wanna use something that’ll hit real hard real fast instead of the machine gun which does fine on its own but you’d only be able to get about two shots into a marauder before it’s shield is back up, the caca demons as well can be one shot by grenades, they can be easily killed by other weapons but the game encourages you to shove a grenade down their throats when they try to bite you, and weapons like the minigun and plasma rife with lower damage but high fire rate are much better at destroying shields
The second way it makes you use all your weapons is by limiting ammo, you burn through ammo incredibly quickly and while you can find some just lying around the best way to get more ammo is by killing something with the chainsaw, the chainsaw itself though also has limited “ammo” (gas) and can only be used up to three times in a row without finding more gas for it

One of the things that integral is the fact that if I remember correctly the devil is the original god of the doom multiverse he was betrayed and so his original home diminenshion is now hell hence why hell can traverse to each and every other diminenshion sense their all connected to it, another thing is the fact that I can't really tell you why Satan is you I've kinda that thought it was that you were the left over good of the devil that was cast aside thanks to the rage of the betrayal and so here comes doom guy also that's how I justified the wretch helping the slayer out seeing how this is still technically his boss but in different form hell I've headcannon that the wretch is a fallen angel ala Lucifer style but instead of betraying god he tried to help him but was also stabbed in the back
I mean the game outright tells you the devil looks like you because "in order to keep his disciples in from betraying him he took the form of the one thing they feared most"

As for why satan looks like the doomslayer, there’s a range of theories, none of which have been 100% confirmed to my knowledge, the first and most simple is that, since davoth (satans real name in game) doesn’t actually have a proper physical form he just copied the appearance of the next strongest being in existence. Another theory is similar but a bit more in depth, it goes that the doomslayer is the human worlds version of davoth, davoth serves the same purpose in hell to the demons as the doomslayer does to humans in the “real” world and because of that they’re basically the same entity and look similar. Another one goes that since davoth created the father (god), pretty much the reverse of real world religions, in real world religions god created the devil and the devil betrays him while in the doom universe the devil created god and then somehow fell and was locked in hell, anyway the theory is that since davoth fell the father kind of “guided” I guess the leftover “good” of davoth into a new being (the doomslayer) as a sort of countermeasure to davoth. The final one I’ve heard goes back to older games, apparently at one point davoth actually gave his power, or at least some of it to the doomslayer, I’m unsure of the reason as I’ve only heard this from second hand sources but it goes that since the doomslayer held the power of davoth he became a primeval entity himself and all primeval entities look the same, this one does seem like the most likely answer though because somewhere in doom eternal there’s a codex page that explains that davoth can only be killed/locked away by another primeval being, since the doomslayer does in fact kill him it proves that the doomslayer is some sort of primeval entity himself, this is also backed up by the fact that once he kills davoth (presumably the source of his “godhood”) he fall into a coma from the shock of it, it appears that since he doesn’t die he’s managed to make the power his own to some extent or another but the fact that he falls into a coma also implies that the original source of his power was indeed davoth

10:37 Yes, but it makes the game a lot more difficult because of the amount of ammo you find. It’s a lot better to use each weapon against the enemies it’s suited for. The shotgun has sticky nades that one shot stun Cacodemons (Flying Cyclops guys) but the Heavy Rifle can shoot guns off different demons.

the lore is hard to understand even if you play the game.. not alone watching a maxor video :DD and to what you said.. most of the weapons have 2 additional mods which you can switch in combat.. but no in the video there were multiple weapons showcase not just 1.. for example shotgun can have both granade launcher or machine shotgun :D

For new suggestions that could be World of Warcraft's Most Famous & Infamous Players from Madseasonshow channel, it's not a drama video about WoW related personalities but stories from lots of people and players in different kinds of situations that created memes or just classic moments for the community, personally love his WoW content altough he does have a monotone voice, some find it boring i call it soothing.
So, to explain why Satan and Doomguy look alike...
The OG Doom (as in, the early 90s one), has you playing as a marine, who became known as Doomguy. You're on Mars and push back the demon invasion. Doom 2 happens and Hell invades Earth. Doomguy says fuck that, fights the demons off, and at the end, decides to go INTO HELL and STAY THERE PERMANENTLY to fight them, for two reasons; one, so that Hell doesn't invade Earth again, and two, because the demons killed your pet rabbit, Daisy. No, this isn't a joke, Doomguy had a pet rabbit named Daisy, the demons killed it, and that pissed him off.
So, Doomguy is in Hell for who knows how long, fighting demons, but since he is still human (at this moment), he eventually tires out. He's then found by the Sentinels, a sect of divine beings that are also fighting Hell (and Hell as a dimension is encroaching on their own home dimension). Doomguy is taken in and out of all the people the Sentinels found, he's the only one that seems to not want to stop fighting. Samuel Hayden sees this and basically gives Doomguy divine powers akin to God, and he becomes a fucking one man army against Hell.
Doomguy kicks Hells ass for so long, that the only way they can think of 'beating' him is to seal him away, since he *just won't die*. It's unclear exactly how, but Doomguy gets put into a coffin and it's sealed by some kind of hellish rune magic. Time passes and his coffin is found by the UAC and is brought back to Mars to be studied. All the while, Samuel Hayden, now somehow in a robot body alongside Vega (AKA God), has been doing his thing on Mars, siphoning Hell energy for Earth. Demons invade, Doomguy wakes up, puts his suit on, and the plot of Doom 2016 happens. Then Eternal.
But as to why they look the exact same, IIRC, the one called Satan was actually GOD God, and God was just basically a weaker manifestation/son or something. Satan gets betrayed I think, and is sealed away. So when Samuel powers Doomguy with divine power, he's putting Doomguy on the same power level as Satan. So in the end, either Doomguy looks like Satan due to the universe being a massive troll, or Satan looks like Doomguy because Doomguy is literally on the same power level.
The Doom lore is definitely convoluted and batshit insane, indeed.
If I'm not wrong:
Doomguy was sealed by literally dropping a hell cathedral on him, pinning him down so they could actually seal him away.
The reason Satan looks like Doomguy is because he's trying to keep them in-line. In order to do so, he took the form that they fear the most, aka the Doom Slayer.

I wouldn’t say doom/halo ripped each other off with the sword. They do look significantly different. Also the mods are not for one singular weapon. Each weapon has 2 different mods that basically work as a secondary-fire mode. For example the first shotgun works as an ordinary pump action, but it has a full auto mod and a grenade launcher mod. The game is EXTREMELY technical and not really for casual gamers, but more so for people like myself who have crippling adhd and autism 😂

10:42 Absolutely not. I’ve beat the game multiple times on the hardest difficulty. And I’ve tried to use just a couple weapons. It’s just not possible. Doom Eternal forces you to use ALL of your weapons in tandem with each other
