these little screens are perfect Domi. and Marakar is a resistant player bcs Excal was really powered but he didn't give up.

I feel like this is a map where you dont need to sell cc, just do 2 supplies and a third nook on the 3rd supply, defend ur near oils, and slowly gain control, when you get an area seal it with emps
if you get two thirds of the map you can outcamp GLA, but excal only had a corner
that map is great, it's actually altering gameplay significantly, not the standard type of map
Yeah, it's quite ridiculous how op scud storm is - highest damage, strongest building, moderate cd and no power needed
Only when the enemy is forced to build everything close together like on this map. To be fair the cooldown between the scud and the nuke should be swapped, so the nuke has a 5 minute cooldown and the scud has 6 minutes. This would be a little more balanced without giving one faction a big advantage.
@@SoundShunter72 guess what? Every superweapon is strong vs tight base and almost useless otherwise. Doesn't cancel the fact that scud still does the most damage, both over the largest area and to single a building.

@@rosgoncharuk2403 Yes, but the particle cannon can usually only be used to destroy one or a few buildings so a compact base doesn't make it much more effective. The scud storm is the strongest superweapon (especially for demo) but I think the time between firing and hitting the target is the longest so it's only useful against buildings. This puts the Nuke in a weird spot where its only advantage is being able to hit large armies relatively easily and effectively compared to the other superweapons. Obviously the only particle cannon worth building is the superweapon one because of its price. This might make it the best counter against the demo scud if you combine it with some general's powers like we saw in the video. Unfortunately the small map made the scud too effective.
12:15 is where i think Excal should've kept the aggression, and kept the auroras number up, and didn't give him the time to hold and settle and till his scuds are ready to give me something to think about..

This is why I select the Limit Superweapons option. Sure, you can have a superweapon, but only one of them. Unless you manage to capture another one. Superweapon spam is kind of boring.
With that sw becomes op. You defend successfully the first 7 minutes and you win 100% of the time.
Easy to mess up attacks as gla.
Ez to outcamp with sw with auroras and support powers.
Had set up in 'Watch Later" the latest games of Marakar, 1 vs 1 and 2 vs 2, and can say that Marakar is at best on 1 vs 1.

Maybe more auroras but I know they cost the same as a particle cannon and in late game you would just be losing them at $2500 a pop to try and kill scuds.
3 particles destroyed by 2 scuds volleys was particularly painful.

I think one or two auroras and partial canon combo can kill Scud storm. If u leave Scud it can make so much damage. So wasting Aurora's very good choice. Atleast one aurora need for sneak attack. Just my thoughts

thanks for playing a good marakar game for once. i would take tox to swg 5:1 on that map..
I think that on that map against GLA, SWG's only hope is to deny early expansion with rock-vees and then maintain pressure on economy and later production. Allowing all of that expansion with a very dense base and then going to an SW battle is a losing proposition for SWG.
You'd think SWG would have an advantage in SW battle.
4 autora can clear a scud storm. And super weapon samsite inside the base can black every sneak attack.
if you throw 4 auruoas at a scud u trade 8000 for 5000, and u give back 1600 gold from bounty and quite some xp
you have to only like lose 1 arora to make it worth, and its rarely the case cuz scuds have tunnels near them

Wow great match! People complain about GLA broken, I am genuinely curious are there stats on every general somewhere to look up? I always liked this game because much like in starcraft BW or Warcraft every second unit or upgrade is broken AF. But when everyone gets his broken bullshit units that's where it gets interesting, you're only left with a choice of what kinda flavor of bullshit you like.

As cool as the super weapons are, I think they honestly ruin the game at times. Considering Excal was turning up the heat with the weaker army, I think he had a solid chance. But to many times GLA camps it out with 5 scuds. Personally I couldn't feel good winning by spamming broken scuds. Gg
Gla requires significantly more input tho to pull that out.

I always root for the player who's not GLA cuz GLA is the most annoying faction. Excal was playing perfectly and he kept destroying stuff all the time but GLA still won just because it's unbalanced af. You don't need power, scud storm is OP, you can spam black markets and your buildings are harder to destroy for some reason.
