24:30 Many of us keep coming back because of the stories. It is the camaraderie with like minded artists and Gingers stories that keep me here. Love Ginger. Cannot think of anyone else on the planet I am willing to sit and listen to for hours but her.
Finally Ginger your videos are appearing again one after the other.I let them run continually as one woukd with a tv. Playing 24 hrs a day in my art room 😘😁💓
Ginger, what a great little painting. I will be doing this one. When you explained about the flowers and how they should be painted, it dawned on me that that is what I have been doing wrong. Love these older video's.
Hi my sweet Ginger, I am painting this one as we speak, I showed my husband this video last night, he is from Honduras and he loved it and asked me to paint it for him. I love watching your videos. They warm my heat and soul and just make me feel better. I love hearing all your stories and I adore when Jon joins you. As I have said before, you both make my day a little better. Sending you both love and hugs from New Orleans La
Oh that is so great. You know we have another Honduras video on you tube that was the view of the island from our ship. Here is the link. th-cam.com/video/mDLIcb5pgLE/w-d-xo.html
I just watched that one and I will have to try that one as well. That's the hardest part is deciding which beautiful painting I want to do next with you, I finished this one although my steps did not come out as well as I hoped but I enjoyed painting it. Thank you for your time teaching us. You may never know how much it helps me. Even if I have a day when I can't paint I still watch all your videos and love each one. Sending you and Jon love and hugs from New Orleans
Love your stories!!! :) And thank you for the painting lesson even when you're on vacation! It's very appreciated! :) Hope you're having the bestest vacation ever!!!
I really enjoy listening to your stories, sounds like a very interesting life. I didn't know if I'd want to paint this, as it turns out though, I'm having fun with it. It's probably bad that I love spending a few hours with one of your tutorials and having interesting and sometimes surprisingly good results at the end. Thank you for the opportunity you afford us all by letting us watch you create wonderful works of art. It's very exciting to me and I'm having a great time!
Its funny but if you just paint some tutorial, the more you do, the better you get. A technique that shows you how to paint a palm tree, might apply to animal fur later but with a smaller brush.... different colors but the muscle memory is starting to build so then painting anything becomes second nature.
I just love this! On my short list to do. I listened to it at work with my earbuds, I couldn't watch the screen, but I took peeks lol. Love your stories, listening to you is my brightest highpoint of the day. I hope to post it soon. Thank you!
Thanks for having videos while you're on vacation. Loved this one & the stories are an added bonus. Looking forward to all the tales of your trip when you return.
Thank you Maureen.. Now I have to go back and listen as for the life of me I cannot remember what story I told and a lot of people have been saying that. LOL
Hi. Hi. Artist Ginger C. I am watching you ' Honduras' on top of the roof flower's colour and light shade learned today, besides the stair looks like Hydrangea so pretty. I am learning step by step, Thanks so much. Regards.zz.
thanks so much. If you want to win the original art work, go to our website and get the June 1 newsletter and the instructions on how to win it. Contest ends June11
Ginger, your torn screen, reminds me of hot summer days, shadow of the trees cast on houses, with only screen doors, or glass doors open, with Windows down. We could never really see inside the house, but the white of your torn screen, reminds me of the kitchen window that I could see in the background through the door, shining through. That's all. Funny how simple things take you back to treasured times in childhood. It's January 31st,18, I was 61 yesterday, and I hope your day is good and special tomorrow.💞😘💞
Wow, you must be a writer. that was such a beautiful description of this painting. Happy birthday to you and am pleased to say birthday is going well, and even better after reading your nice comment. Art hugs from the "high seas"
No Miss Ginger. That was straight from my heart. I was sixty one, so from one woman to another, when I say, when you see something that takes you on another path of art, like poetry, or writing, or contemporary dancing to a song that brings goose BUMPS and chills out all over you,.....A simple happy mistake can reach down inside a true artist, whatever they are.....it is in their heart, and they have to find a way to express it. If they think they are not expressing it correctly, but the heart speaks, and another true artist understands where it came from.... harmony! We are both writers. I may struggle in front of a canvas, but I know what I see and feel. I can put it on paper. I can draw, a bit. Work wood a little....but I love to explore, see new beauties, possibilities, treasures, always something positive in a painting... always. Just walk inside and look around, tell me, what do you see? Always something special and beautiful. I always wondered why people in museums were standing there staring at pictures...now I know. They were taking their own journey inside, looking. Hugs and kisses to you and Jon😘💖😘
Hi.Artist G.Cook. I was sick from last week of Sept. for two weeks, three days at Hospital. Now I am fine, watching your videos, in your video I find most colourful varieties of flowers 🌺 which I am Learning also makes me 😎. Thanks,Regards.Zz.
Thanks SO much for this fun tutorial! When I catch up on 2 others of yours I am doing...I may do this one! I love the screen door like that. I am glad you show us your decision after what could have been a mistake. But a happy mistake instead! I love your stories. There is no way I have anything that interesting to say about my family. lol Maybe some soap opera type stuff and some drama but that is it. :D Big ART Hugs to you, Jon and Sammy!
Thanks Ginger, I enjoyed this and your stories. I was in Hawaii once and it is way too long of a flight from Pittsburgh area. And the time change was difficult to get used to.
I had a lot of fun painting this one. I always really like how yours comes out, not so much mine but I"ll keep trying. I wasn't as nervous painting this one as I was doing the ocean paintings for whatever reason I don't know. But I DO know....you are an excellent teacher....I'm psyched I came across your videos. they have helped me improve, i think....I have more fun anyway. I donated some $$ during one of your last live sessions to show my appreciation. Jon called me Jeanie as in I Dream of..no biggie....many people get it wrong. If that's my biggest problem of the day I'd say I'm doing great, Right? Thanks again for all you guys do. HAGD ..
Thanks so much for the donations as we really appreciate it. If you sign up on our website for our free news letter you will see donations such are your as spread out in to the art community as scholarships for artists who have physical or financial difficulties. Banana trees?
Yes

Cheap paint is what makes people feel they can't paint. It costs more in the long run because you have to use so much more of it too.
