I feel like if they don’t already know you’re there, just keep it that way till they leave.
While what you said is true in cases, I wouldn’t just bet on an armed person of any sort to just be chill. They could be, definitely, but you never know with people. They could consider their charges, or could just not care what they do.
Now if they walk in and see you and don’t bother you, then I think it’s safe to assume they won’t do anything rash and just here for the money and gonna dip.
But I wouldn’t just make yourself known right away if you’re hidden, in case they “aren’t well in the head.”
Guns are nothing to take a chance on. At least that’s my two cents.
