@@d_sharon_design Same here, I’m not a fan of glued inlays either. I prefer something customizable, so I’m really glad that Kizer decided to go with the custom inlays approach
I thought Z-wear was supposed to be comparable to Cru-wear and then z-tuff was the one tougher than 3v and similar to 1V but I get different results from Google and then Larrin Thomas says they are a little different in toughness and edge retention but 3v is still tougher so idk.
I'm confused I have a Custom Fixed blade in Z wear that said it was almost like Cruwear but now I'm told Z wear was more like Vanax I'm confused myself.
Z-wear and cruwear are very similar and z-tuff is more similar to 3v although tougher and nothing like vanax. That's a very simple description and to much into to put in a comment section. If I was into these knives I'd be more concerned about ht and geometry because if they aren't good it won't matter what steel they use. A custom knife in 14c would outperform most production knives outside of spyderco
Great review, love the design. Need them to drop a large version for me, this one is just a bit to small. Thanks Nick!
Yeah, 3” is not my favorite….wish it was 3.3-3-5.
I love how they're offering better steel options lately. Z-wear is great stuff
And the way they have the inlays held in place is cool. Not a fan of glued inlays.

@sterlingstoots3215 100% lol
It has some nice clean style while still having a bit of an edge to the design too.
Beautiful 😊
Have a kitchen k ife from BGM Knives in Zwear. Love it so much. Stays toothy toothy.

If it’s not sharp out of the box it’s not a candidate for purchase by me. Always appreciate your honesty Stassa.
