Nice interview, I like when the questions go into other areas not exactly pertaining to the music or career. Nice to hear some of their social views as well toward the end here.
@TheOmegaeyes i totally agree, and what's the most amazing thing is that they had really good answers to give about such a difficult question. i believe that proves they are not no-lifed persons who spent their whole time mastering guitar techniques but also think about the society and that kind of stuff. im very amazed by this interview!
@c4sp3r91 I just resently heard Omnivium all the way through and was blown away. They continue to grow as a band with each release, Cosmogenesis was certainly a hell of an album to follow up to. The spirit of Chuck Schuldiner is guiding them, lol.
"Obscura has to be the main priority and everything else is behind it" Doesn't seem to be the case this year. But oh well we have Radial Covenant so it's all good.
Hey, Fireblazer and others who said nice things about the inti - thanx! Check out our other interviews with Decapitated, Vader, Suicide Silence, Hatebreed, Dark Tranquility, etc. And - a happy new year!!! Ivan, editor
Tart9, it's not laughing track - it's bunch of drunk metalheads at Metelkova, where the interview and gig happened. Fuck it - this is the real deal, haha! Ivan, the editor
@cbazan66 Not really. Toki and Skwisgaar were Swedish, Steffan and Chris are German. And nothing against Brandon Small and Metalcaylpse, but Obscura kicks Dethklok's ass.
WHAT ABOUT PLAYING HERE IN IRAQ ??? i assure u that the guys here will turn the place upside down now i have to stop dreaming cause unfortunately, this shit will never happen
I've met Stephen. He's really a great, down to earth guy.

At 3:41 he imitates the sound of a palm mute that just sounds funny haha
@GalwayChick No it doesn't matter, it's just that this genre of music is rather challenging to listen to, as well as an acquired taste, that's all.

Katatonia - The Great Cold Distance t-shirt. Good choice
Great interview. Great band.
Christian Muenzner & Steffen Kummerer= *drool*
Cosmogenesis & Omnivium= *double drool* Delicious indeed.

Thanks for the vid but the audio levels are really distracting, I can hear the birds better than the guys in the band...
Its a Collie!!! And someone threw him a ball to appear onscreen!

@FacelessEater From what I've heard through the band, he did not write anything

@cbazan66 Not really. Toki and Skwisgaar were Swedish, Steffan and Chris are German. And nothing against Brandon Small and Metalcaylpse, but Obscura kicks Dethklok's ass.
Snemal je Profanity pisec Primož, spraševal pa urednik Profanityja Ivan ;)
I get what they're saying, you can't "try" to put your influence in the music
They both sound like Toki Wartooth and Skwisgaar Swikgelf from Dethklok. LOL
@GalwayChick You don't even know who these guys are?
The dog is the coolest part!
