After winning the Chris Austin songwriting competition at Merlefest a few months earlier, this was Molly's second national level milestone. Since then she won an IBMA young artist Momentum Award (Instrumentalist of the Year) in 2016. Then she became the first woman ever to win IBMA's Guitar Player of the Year award in 2017, followed by winning it a second time in 2018. She currently tours nationally with her own band with headline billing on main stages at numerous national music festivals. Her live performances are well worth the effort to see!
We have been waiting for these videos , thanks for posting! You two sounded great as usual! Loved it when you did both songs live in the Stoughton Opera House!
Hey Jack a thought just crossed my mind...Molly smokes you on the guitar doesnt she :-) Berkley... I think that just about says it all right there lol This was fun I've never been sorry I subbed. Thank you for all the great music over the years. Its been a privilege and a blessing. Peace guys
IS IT NORMAL ON THIS PROGRAM FOR ALL THAT WALKING AROUND, AND DOING STUFF, WHILE SOMEONE IS PERFORMING ? SEEMS AWFULLY DISRESPECTFUL TO THE TUTTLES, WHO STILL MANAGED TO DO A WONDERFUL JOB
It's a video of a live RADIO show. There are no "breaks" in the recording and it's a different show every single week. So yes, it's normal on radio for there to be preparation for the next act during each number.

Molly is such a cool, classy, talented young lady. I wish I had a fraction of her talent.
Molly has a voice of an angel.
Love it.
First time I have seen Jack on the mandolin. Great job :-)

My favorite part is the reaction of the band members to Molly's guitar solo.

lols@Jeff's comment. Give Jack a break, his fingers aren't quite so young :-) Love this, keep the music coming, guys!
Pretty dang good!
Exceptional
I think this number would have won first place, and I think the band agrees.
Should have one first place.
He would be really proud of her if he saw her now.
St. Paul’s own Phil Donahue sitting with his guitar. He’s a world class fingerstyle player.
But it was a live production with an audience.
2nd place? Really?
If they would have done white freight liner blues they would have won
I have to say one thing is that it seems kinda rude him walking on stage during your presentation. Really seems unprofessional.
I was a radio show.
