That is something different to have in historical perspective that the formation of a youth cadre with their own firearm ,training them to become soldiers . From the video , it looks in pretty good shape . I did have an idea of what it was , then you showed the full size Cavalry Carbine , then I knew what it was . Glad you posted the video
To be fair, one of my grail guns is also a carcano, I have been wanting an 1891 long rifle forever. Finally ordered one. Sweet mini carbine you have there!
It's hard to beat RTI with some of their prices right now, even though you never know what you're going to get. They've ruined the market for M95 and Carcano prices.
Awesome! That’s crazy small! I picked up 4 cav versions from RTI and after some research I found out one of mine is a PS version for military police… apparently only 10k made. Need to grab a few more while they’re still cheap…
Does this have an exemption from being considered a short-barrelled rifle? From what I can find online they have a 14.5 inch barrel (16 inch being the normal cutoff for an SBR, but maybe someone succeeded in getting the ATF to exempt this since it is not even really intended to fire live ammo?)
That’s a very neat find, congrats. Thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Nice. I got 3 all in very good condition!
Very nice! Thanks for watching!

Agreed...definitely an interesting piece of history.

What a neat piece! Makes me think maybe I’m not quite done collecting Carcanos after all.
There's always something more to collect (unfortunately for my wallet).
Oh, thats sweet. Real nice pick up. Thanks for sharing with us.

Very good
Thanks!
I almost bid on this, but I realized it can't shoot and didn't, it went for a great price if this is the same one. Great buy!
Yes, there was a whole batch that all went for $250 or under.
I saw one at a gun show a few months ago. If I had the cash I would’ve picked it up.
Very cool...not something you see too often.
Congrats on another amazing acquisition!
Thank you so much 😀

No need as this is blank firing only.
SBR?
Lol, no. This is essentially a toy gun. If you could work up an actual cartridge that would fit, you could shoot it (once).
