That's the great thing about the show. The characters are full fledged human beings who happen to be Muslim women. They go through things as people and as a band that relates to that but also to their humanity so that makes them relatable on every level. It's not a show made for a target in mind, or just tokenism for a demographics like some YA stuff.
And we NEED a season 3 P L E A S E
I want more interviews from them. I am in love with the series.

In real life they look like uni students and in the series they make them look and act like gangsters that's called good acting

This show is so so amazing, seeing characters done so realistically that i can recognize with is so incredible and fun to watch. Absolutely love this show and everything it is able to discuss in a witty but valid way. LOVE LOVE LOVE the characters that are played with such depth and emotion. The cast is so incredible. This show has become so special to me. So grateful to be able to experience it.

Lady Parts Rock
The fact that the history line happens around their 30's is great too. I was able to relate to them qith that as with teying to have a punk band and record while being 34, not only different than the big majority of the colonizing population.
And now we want season 3! Seriously Season 2 was so so good. I can't wait another 3 years!
