racism in singapore is largely gone except for a few sections of the older generation that lived through the 50s-60s. the policy of mixed public housing has worked. intolerance in other countries are highly correlated when different races live separately in accordance to imperialist divide-and-conquer.
I enjoyed this way better than real talk. Not to bash but on the other show but this setting felt more wholesome as it was on talking the happenings of SG and I felt more connected. So... More podcasts please :)

The racist man is my coding lecturer in school and he was a nice guy who helps answer all my queries and what not... when i first came across the video I was like "ehh... this man sounds a bit too much like my teacher", even my friend mentioned it but we all brushed it aside because we just couldn't fathom the fact that it would actually be him. But to our disappointment and disbelief, it rly is him and honestly I just lost all my respect for him.
there are many poly lecturers who do not display good teaching ethicals, be it inside the classroom or outside. I am a student from NYP. In semester 1, there were many instances where after we had completed a class test, we would only be told about the grade for that test, but the teacher would not go through it with us in class, not mark, or not return us back our answer scripts.
On the topic of racism, someone asked if I was afraid of getting raped when going home late at night just because I live in Little India -.- seriously…
the countries getting priorities for pfizer, moderna, j&j, sinovac, sinopharm, astrazeneca, sputnik are those the manufacturers consider friendly. singapore's vaccinated rates approximate europe while similar rates for indonesia & malaysia, with nobody giving a shit abt africa.
sellers in indonesia pakat to set the same prices be it street peddlers even some malls. having observed thousands of tourists on a daily basis, they only need one look to know if you know how to bargain. for example, guys are unlikely to haggle much in front of their girlfriends so they dont lose face.
Some people are so naive and in denial to think minorities weren’t facing racism before the pandemic. We alr were, the pandemic has just amplified it as racists are more brave now. Xenophobia and racism was always present here.
I respectfully disagree, just because he had an opinion on interacial relationships doesn’t mean that he’s “racist”… Yes, granted that he did not express them in the most healthiest of ways but it could have been much worst if it was REAL racism. I have friends of different races too but when will still roll my eyes when I see such couples especially when the pairings are always more or less the same. Chinese ladies with God knows whatever colours of Men under the rainbow. As if they are trying to prove a point that Men of their culture cannot make it thus they have to Look elsewhere…
