I thought I was actually cooking at the time. The worst part is I actually read it aloud to my class and only felt the embarrassment as I started actually presenting it.🗿 😭 Now that I think about it, I had a lot of early signs of my ADD back then, lmao.
I used to make stories about a show I like A LOT, most had an OC or two that never appeared again, and I only finished like 5 of them (I wrote well over 100 of them) The plots were also mostly based off an episode of another show with a few changes. Most of my effort on them was spent on the backgrounds that were also copied from a show I kinda want to redesign the OCS from those stories now that I have improved my art a lot

on a serious note for that second one, PARENTS -- try not to make a regular habit of being upset in front of your kids. obviously it's very different if you just happen to be crying in another room and the kid comes to comfort you voluntarily, but it's unhealthy to /expect/ children to listen to your problems and help you feel better, that job is for your spouse, therapist, or another adult in your life. some people don't grasp that concept and it's deeply concerning.
It’s just super unoriginal. I get how it could be helpful but it’s really stupid how people literally just quote the video and then put 😳😭🙏💀💀💀. I can definitely see how it might be nice to see people really liking a certain part of the script tho.
10:51 dear god, when Robin wrote that first entry, I would have been 16 DAYS OLD. That makes me feel old, even though I’m only currently 22 (yes I also want Robin to feel old too 😈)

My mom is 53 and she still doesn't know what an album is 😂. Yesterday she asked Google nest to play songs from the opera singer Bocelli. Then she told me Google picked the perfect album, or she was wondering what album it was that had all of these collabs in it. She said they were the same songs they had at the 30th carrer anniversary tribute concert they aired on tv. I had to explain to her that Google most likely opened Bocelli's Spotify page and was pulling the most famous songs from the artist page. That this is no album. That I could've asked him to play songs of my favorite artist let's say Cheat Codes and it would probably play Cheat Code's most famous songs and nothing more. That it wouldn't pick an album in particular like the Hellraisers serie or One Night In Nashville. But a random assortment of songs.
Weird stories about kids these days: *actual hate speech* Weird stories that we had when we were kids: one time I dropped a whole pizza isn’t that funny
I have more information on the vase that kid broke! His parents were watching him fairly well, but he had done so too quickly for them to react. The museum doesn’t have any glass or anything surrounding the pieces so it’s more immersive for everyone. From when I remember, people were allowed to touch the items, he touched it with a bit of force, causing it to fall over. The museum was really understanding about the whole thing and they ended up hooking it together and I believe he even got to help a little bit with that process.
10:44 atleast Robin had a real diary entry. My first diary entry from 12 years ago when i was 6 is just: "I watchtet some television and we vistsited some friends, it was fun." (Writing mistakes sorta made up the original was written in german and i tried my best to add the writing mistakes in english because they are the silliest part.)
Funny story: when I was 3, I decided to just run out the door, and off the backporch. Our porch is a foot and a half off the ground, and is surrounded by rocks, and I flew headfirst into the rocks. To make matters worse, I was the ring bearer for a wedding the next day. I was a dumb kid, which explains why I am the way I am today.

Yesterday me and bro were practicing our respecting women skills. I pretended to be a woman and we interacted. So nice. I felt so damn safe in his arms. This guy is clearly amazing, I bet women love him.
5:54 Here’s some context: That museum actually lets people touch their artifacts to let them have a historical perspective. The kid was unsupervised by his parents, and did it by accident. I don’t know how he did it though. The parents were interviewed by a new station I think and during the interview, the kid was clearly still unsupervised. The owner didn’t charge them.
As a representative of the gmod community, we have decided to reject this offer. Would any representative of the fnaf community like to claim this child?
As a representative of the FPE and an ex-FNAF communities, this child is unclaimed. May a representative for the current FNAF community please confirm?
That one about the kid searching again to tell his dad he didn't want to look it up reminds me of a similar incident with me, although with different circumstances and really a more practical use. So, back during the pandemic and the "year of zoom" as I call it, which was during my freshman year of high school, my math class was using this online program for us to solve the day's math questions that let us write on a canvas. At one point during that, my internet cut out for a moment, kicking me out of the zoom meeting. I quickly attempted again to rejoin, and to help with that, I wrote on the canvas "The internet kicked me out. Can you let me back in?" because the teacher was reviewing our answers after we finished a particular question. When he let me back in, he was just staring at the screen and everyone was seeing my writing. Don't remember much else besides that, but I remember that being kind of a funny thing.
Man, every time you remind us you're from Spokane, I look up SO FAST because I'M from Spokane and it always shocks me that literally any other person is from here! Especially a channel I like! It's nuts to see another Spokanite!
21:10 on the topic of cleanliness, i'm reminded of when i was 9, and the neighbor's kid who was like 6 snuck up to me and his brother while we were talking and pissed on my leg. I was so confused that i ran back to my house crying because like, wtf?
Same as my younger cousin who is almost 7. The fact that he pissed straight on my left side of my thight is so disgusting, I still remembered it from 9 years ago. I just wanna slap him, and the whole house was empty except me, my cousin, and the the maid who is doing the laundry at the 1st floor (yes my cousin's family has a 2nd floor house) and we're at the balcony

absolutely this. i think i speak for most people my age (20s) when i say we fully understand the fact that historically older generations have always generally looked at younger peoples trends with disdain and fear, but this generation we have literal things we can point to and say, no, this is ACTUALLY OBJECTIVELY BAD.
12:30 That's so adorable. Gives me "Alice Through the Looking-Glass" vibes. There's a part where the White Queen suddenly begins screaming. ‘What is the matter?’ [Alice] said, as soon as there was a chance of making herself heard. ‘Have you pricked your finger?’ ‘I haven’t pricked it yet,’ the Queen said, ‘but I soon shall-oh, oh, oh!’ ‘When do you expect to do it?’ Alice asked, feeling very much inclined to laugh. ‘When I fasten my shawl again,’ the poor Queen groaned out: ‘the brooch will come undone directly. Oh, oh!’ As she said the words the brooch flew open, and the Queen clutched wildly at it, and tried to clasp it again. ‘Take care!’ cried Alice. ‘You’re holding it all crooked!’ And she caught at the brooch; but it was too late: the pin had slipped, and the Queen had pricked her finger. ‘That accounts for the bleeding, you see,’ she said to Alice with a smile. ‘Now you understand the way things happen here.’ ‘But why don’t you scream now?’ Alice asked, holding her hands ready to put over her ears again. ‘Why, I’ve done all the screaming already,’ said the Queen. ‘What would be the good of having it all over again?’
Oh dear. Probably not my first diary entry, but it's a family joke and the first one I remember: "Today I poked myself in the eye with scissors. I have a patch." I'm sure I spelled it very badly but I was like 6... and yeah that happened, I ouch to think of it to this day.
I only had a diary for a short time, as my mom only got it so she could read it when I wasn't home, so much for private thoughts. I write nothing down unless I'm happy for someone to see it Trust issues are real, and the trauma sucks
18:10 MLP lore note: Rainbow Dash is actually a douche and only in the later seasons learns to humble herself. She regularly feuded with griffons like Gilda as a result of how the ancestors of pegasi at that time regularly had a race/territory war against griffons. Also the culturally closest characters to African people in the main universe are the zebras, kelpies, and abada from Farasi who live South of Equestria, and since most of them don't have completely black skin/fur the n slur wouldn't make sense
I mean, Rainbow Dash was kind of mean at times, but she at least still had a range of redeeming qualities. She was literally the Element-Bearer of Loyalty. And there were like 7 of those, selected by great powers, for their personality and teamwork potential. Out of literally the entirety of Equestria. She was very Competitive, yes. Somewhat edgy, yes. Kind of self centered at times, also yes. But the fact remains that she was still a great person- er… pony. The majority of characters in Ponyville and beyond valued her friendship for a reason.
@@Paintballperson-k2lkids are stupid, but they can understand what racism is so good shows like to include topics about this to teach kids history and why it’s not okay.
Also not trying to stir the pot, but there was also the episode from what I remember in which Apple Jack and her family have a feud with the buffalos over the usage of the land and her being a total ass towards the buffalos (which were a clear stand in for indigenous peoples and Native Americans) when they stated that they lived there first before being driven away by ponies and want their land back.
5:38 Being able to touch is kinda that museum's gimmick, so the parents didn't have to pay for the repair. Not that they would have had a leg to stand on with that lax security.
3:40 "Every word of what you just said is wrong" a quote from a movie that released in 2017 (The one about being friends stung the most, sweet summer child, the depressing reality goes way deeper)
2:05 My Family pronounces Aunt and Ant almost the exact same way We say "Ant" for both but there's a difference in tone when we say Aunt, plus context is a thing I've never heard anyone in my family pronounce Aunt like "On-t".
18:35 Skibbidi Toilet is NOT much different than Annoying Orange. A sentient thing known for being annoying but at the same time creative, ended up getting a huge following, and even had merch and toys for kids to buy. I remember once having a talking Annoying Orange doll. We're NOT that different. The issue is though, as far as I recall, there weren't content farm channels like LankyBox and such using Annoying Orange back then. I could be wrong though. Also, the "Mom found the Yaoi" video seems to be more of just a skit. Most of her videos seem to be satire, like "Why I think my neighbor's dog is a government agent." And her videos are usually sped up and pitched. There's also her About and her Community tab. It's similar to the famous "I HATE MINIONS SO MUCH" video, which was also just a joke that some people thought was real, when the original uploader does plenty of satirical videos.
It's completely different. There were only multiple episodes, and the author don't pretended to make a damn movie, kids weren't losing control because of, and were not commenting on every video with a toilet in it (no matter what context of that video) with a bunch of skulls in a comment. Kids were not singing dumb, absolutely nonsensical "lyrics" in their classes, don't used the word "annoying" everywhere, I think you see the difference
I can't wait to have my diary back when I was a kid. I still have it at the parents' house, and I remember being really into the first season of the German version of American Idol and had some very important thoughts about that because we didn't have Twitter back then.
23:24 just got blasted back to the time I wanted to be a stringray for Halloween, so my mum got some shiny glittery/polkadot-like fabric for the wings, and used an old curtain rod for the tail - which then got caught in the metal stairs up to my friend's hillside apartment lol. Till this day, best constume i ever remember wearing.
I heard somewhere, with the whole jar incident, the museum chose to make it a learning experience by having him come in and work with a professional to repair the jar so he could get the experience of building it and realizing how fragile these things are and they would have the jar back. Win-win.

16:42 We still have those in my city. Though the last time I remember using one was back when I was on elementary one time my mom dropped me at school but since my backpack was too heavy I took it off and gave it to her, then she forgot to give it back to me and none of us realized until like 20 minutes after. I asked the principal (she was and still is friends with my mom) if I we could give her a call. Weird thing is we DID use MY money on the pay phone that was outside the school INSTEAD of just calling my mom using her phone. I ended up 40 cents short for my daily chicken sandwich that day.
Fr the rise of racism and fascism is affecting younger kids, mainly children and teens, mostly due to the rise of toxic masculinity culture, and online personalities who support these beliefs such as Andrew Tate. It’s actually concerning. I’m starting to think maybe it wouldn’t be a bad idea if we just shut down the internet for like 5 years and see what happens to society then.
I honestly agree about Skibidi toilet not being any worse than the previous generations' memes and jokes. That quirky little series is innocent. The modern slang I have a problem with today is the words that focus on looks, status and how likeable you are (sigma male, mewing, mogging?? And stuff like that). I much prefer the era of "yeet", "do u know da way" and vines to that, and I wasn't even there when vine still existed, I watched vines on TH-cam after it was gone.
16:42 I once saw a payphone, and I wanted to call my mom on it, and be like “Hey! Mom! I’m calling on a payphone!” So I go up to it. SOMEBODY STOLE THE PHONE
the broken ancient jar reminds me of all the kids (and their parents tbh) showing absolute disrespect at pompeii and herculaneum. sitting in the windows of the ruined buildings, picking up stones to chuck at one another, and just being absolute menaces in a graveyard. in the palace of naples, there were two kids doing a tiktok dance on the stairs and holding everyone up.
I don't think I will ever find my first journal entry but I do vividly remember one. I live about 4 hours away from Florence in Genova italy. My parents wanted to go to Florence for an academy tour. Basically in Florence there's a military academy for what you'd consider the navy seals (people that fly military planes) and my brother was interested. I don't know if this explains it better but it's an areonautics academy. And I think the day prior I got a new journal as my previous one was full. And I excitedly wrote on there how happy I was to go the next day. We went and did the tour then left the car somewhere and just had a stroll around Florence. I've since come back for my mom's 50th bday but this memory will forever be the best. Because I can still feel the excitement of wanting to go and have lots of fun. Edit: I still own the postcard I got that started my hobby and tradition. I like to buy postcard of any place I go to that is postcard worthy. For example I don't buy postcards at my dad's hometown where my relatives are or from my hometown. But if I count them all I might have 50 or so postcards. Some of them are from the same city. I try to buy the multi photo ones because they are so fun and show the city more. It's a way to help me remember these places.

I used to make stories about a show I like A LOT, most had an OC or two that never appeared again, and I only finished like 5 of them (I wrote well over 100 of them) The plots were also mostly based off an episode of another show with a few changes. Most of my effort on them was spent on the backgrounds that were also copied from a show
I kinda want to redesign the OCS from those stories now that I have improved my art a lot
7:14 my hypothesis is that he meant breasts, and that the mom had to get surgery on one of them because of breast cancer. happened to my mom when i was really young so i wouldnt be surprisedif thats the case- if it isnt, i have no clue lol
clearly one of her butt cheeks fell off
I was thinking maybe she was referring to an ex-husband but yours seems like a good theory.
on a serious note for that second one, PARENTS -- try not to make a regular habit of being upset in front of your kids. obviously it's very different if you just happen to be crying in another room and the kid comes to comfort you voluntarily, but it's unhealthy to /expect/ children to listen to your problems and help you feel better, that job is for your spouse, therapist, or another adult in your life. some people don't grasp that concept and it's deeply concerning.
8:08 I actually don't mind when people comment about a specific line in one of my videos. Let's me gauge what parts of the script worked best.
It’s just super unoriginal. I get how it could be helpful but it’s really stupid how people literally just quote the video and then put 😳😭🙏💀💀💀. I can definitely see how it might be nice to see people really liking a certain part of the script tho.
7:25 this does NOT deserve to be in this subreddit. cats are precious!!!
This Robin guy is great. I wonder if he has his own TH-cam channel and if it's possible to find a link to it somewhere. I guess we'll never know.
We'll never know....

10:51 dear god, when Robin wrote that first entry, I would have been 16 DAYS OLD. That makes me feel old, even though I’m only currently 22 (yes I also want Robin to feel old too 😈)
I was 14 days old at the time
Try being 15 at the time. About to crest 40 in a couple of years.
Literally seven years before I was born, it's a humbling experience to think about a piece of paper being older than you, even if it's obvious that could happen
I was in the womb
3 years before i was born, and i constantly think that i'm gonna be old turning 20 this year
My mom is 53 and she still doesn't know what an album is 😂.
Weird stories about kids these days: *actual hate speech*
Weird stories that we had when we were kids: one time I dropped a whole pizza isn’t that funny
My first diary entry from 12 years ago when i was 6 is just:
"I watchtet some television and we vistsited some friends, it was fun."
(Writing mistakes sorta made up the original was written in german and i tried my best to add the writing mistakes in english because they are the silliest part.)
Please tell me that you've been asked if you fell on your head as a kid, and that when it happens you just bluntly say "Yes".
@CIoudStriker Sadly no... but if someone does, I have an answer.
Once I argued with my cousin (7) in the airport about whether snails are faster than light. His argument was that “it takes so long for light to get around the universe, that a snail could get around Neptune faster”

3:41 I think this is the hardest we seen robin laugh
Nope, he once laughed so hard he wheezed for about 20 seconds. Sadly can not remember the video
21:41 As a _Murder Drones_ fan, we do not claim this kid.
As a fellow Murder Drones fan, I can confirm that we do not claim this child. Can a tf2 representative claim this child?
As a tf2 fan we also have agreed that we shall not claim this child. could an Gmod representative could respond about this child?
As a representative of the gmod community, we have decided to reject this offer. Would any representative of the fnaf community like to claim this child?
As a representative of the FPE and an ex-FNAF communities, this child is unclaimed. May a representative for the current FNAF community please confirm?
As a representative of the current fnaf community, we do not claim this child. Perhaps a representative of the mha community will accept him?
As a kid I used to think that when a trailer said "only in movies (insert date)" that the movie would only be able to be watched on that specific date
Man, every time you remind us you're from Spokane, I look up SO FAST because I'M from Spokane and it always shocks me that literally any other person is from here! Especially a channel I like! It's nuts to see another Spokanite!

10:30 i just realized the logic here. Fourth of July and New Years are both celebrated via launching fireworks. so maybe that's why they mixed them up
"maybe its a communal thing, we all like like that comment because that moment also stood out to us" goes crazy
21:10 on the topic of cleanliness, i'm
reminded of when i was 9, and the
neighbor's kid who was like 6 snuck up to
me and his brother while we were talking
and pissed on my leg. I was so confused
that i ran back to my house crying because
like, wtf?
what the actual fck
Same as my younger cousin who is almost 7. The fact that he pissed straight on my left side of my thight is so disgusting, I still remembered it from 9 years ago. I just wanna slap him, and the whole house was empty except me, my cousin, and the the maid who is doing the laundry at the 1st floor (yes my cousin's family has a 2nd floor house) and we're at the balcony
I didn’t have a diary but I remember my first conscious memory was me feeling intense loneliness as I cried out for my mom in my crib, who was in the next room over. I feel like that one has really set the tone for my life honestly
I went on Reddit when I was like 12 and commented on r/teenagers that I was 12 and got banned from Reddit and I cried so much that my mom had to ask what was wrong😭
Nah you were so close to being allowed 😭

14:52 This hate is different from kids having fun in a new way and old people not liking it. This kids is saying very political stuff they don't know about then adding Tik Tok memes/characters from the last 2 years
They're learning about what's right and wrong from dark memes which are… y'know *dark*
But also light memes can be/are boring when you're used to dark humor like these kids
the sad part is these kids are likely to grow up and say the lgbtq+ community is CoRrUpTiNg OuR cHiLdReN but the reason they say this stuff is bc they got co-opted at a young age
absolutely this. i think i speak for most people my age (20s) when i say we fully understand the fact that historically older generations have always generally looked at younger peoples trends with disdain and fear, but this generation we have literal things we can point to and say, no, this is ACTUALLY OBJECTIVELY BAD.
3:30 Poor kid, doesn't know history at all.
Considering they were around in 2017 I'm guessing their 12 years old.... I think they're in denial
@Kowalski_at-Bayernthey could’ve been like 5-7 years old and remember. That would explain the way they write.
12:30 That's so adorable. Gives me "Alice Through the Looking-Glass" vibes. There's a part where the White Queen suddenly begins screaming.
‘What is the matter?’ [Alice] said, as soon as there was a chance of making herself heard. ‘Have you pricked your finger?’
‘I haven’t pricked it yet,’ the Queen said, ‘but I soon shall-oh, oh, oh!’
‘When do you expect to do it?’ Alice asked, feeling very much inclined to laugh.
‘Now you understand the way things happen here.’
‘But why don’t you scream now?’ Alice asked, holding her hands ready to put over her ears again.
‘Why, I’ve done all the screaming already,’ said the Queen. ‘What would be the good of having it all over again?’
Oh dear. Probably not my first diary entry, but it's a family joke and the first one I remember: "Today I poked myself in the eye with scissors. I have a patch." I'm sure I spelled it very badly but I was like 6... and yeah that happened, I ouch to think of it to this day.
why would you even do that in the first place?! 😭🙏🏼

Trust issues are real, and the trauma sucks
Racism in a kids show is crazy
@ Yeah. Over the Barrel has to be the best episode to use as an example for racism in Friendship Is Magic

My Family pronounces Aunt and Ant almost the exact same way
We say "Ant" for both but there's a difference in tone when we say Aunt, plus context is a thing
I've never heard anyone in my family pronounce Aunt like "On-t".
6:00 To be fair the kid could've just tripped and fallen or even been pushed
Plus they have insurance, so there is SHOULD be no fine.
Unlike annoying orange it got less annoying overtime and actually has a story
You don't have to agree but thats the truth
It's completely different. There were only multiple episodes, and the author don't pretended to make a damn movie, kids weren't losing control because of, and were not commenting on every video with a toilet in it (no matter what context of that video) with a bunch of skulls in a comment. Kids were not singing dumb, absolutely nonsensical "lyrics" in their classes, don't used the word "annoying" everywhere, I think you see the difference

Fr the rise of racism and fascism is affecting younger kids, mainly children and teens, mostly due to the rise of toxic masculinity culture, and online personalities who support these beliefs such as Andrew Tate. It’s actually concerning.
I’m starting to think maybe it wouldn’t be a bad idea if we just shut down the internet for like 5 years and see what happens to society then.
back in my days internet used to come in mail got me😂😂😂
I honestly agree about Skibidi toilet not being any worse than the previous generations' memes and jokes. That quirky little series is innocent. The modern slang I have a problem with today is the words that focus on looks, status and how likeable you are (sigma male, mewing, mogging?? And stuff like that). the broken ancient jar reminds me of all the kids (and their parents tbh) showing absolute disrespect at pompeii and herculaneum. sitting in the windows of the ruined buildings, picking up stones to chuck at one another, and just being absolute menaces in a graveyard. in the palace of naples, there were two kids doing a tiktok dance on the stairs and holding everyone up.
