If I buy groceries at Walmart, does the Citi card detect I’m buying groceries? Or what category is Walmart considered under? One of the 5% categories or no?
Walmart doesn't count for grocery spending. If you want high cash back for Walmart, you'll want their credit card or the US Bank Shopper Cash Rewards card.
I was denied this card 4 times now with a score of 785 Experian, Trans U 795. Low balances on all of my cards and pay them off each month. I applied for the Discover IT cash back at the same time and I was approved!! I know my score will tank a little-- So I guess I'm out of luck on getting this card anytime soon. I have the U.S Bank Cash + and I just activated Home utilities and Fast food as my 5% categories and Restaurants for my 2% in October So I guess that will be my main fast food card if the Discover IT or my Freedom Flex is not in that category that quarter. Amex BCP is my groceries card-streaming-gas if not 5% from D IT OR FF and Amazon Prime card for Amazon, WF active cash for everything else!! Great review as always man and thank you so much!!!!! Sorry, this was so long!! I am just excited that I got most of all the cards that I want right now and saves me a lot of cash! 😄😃😃
This is such a great card, Citi hit it out of the park with this one!
You can get more then one ;) its a secret with the 5% cash back and 0$ annual fee having one for every category is meta
