When I began using old clothing to make different types of totes and pouches, my son “introduced” me to you. ( He loves your clothing). I have become a fan of your Work.. the craftsmanship that you pour into every piece of art you create is amazing.
I LOVE your creative work! I lived in Japan 30 years and fell in love with boro fashion! I will have to get some of the neat fabric from the Kyoto temple sales! Thanks for sharing your wonderful design work! I look forward to watching your other videos. I loved the boro happi coat too.
You are truly amazing I have been following your content for years and it's always inspiring and at the same mesmerising. Please continue to give us wonderful creations. I do have request, if you can, offer videos that have the complete sound track and no silences. Or an alternative hosting platform? I enjoy the videos immensely but the inconsistencies in sound are a bit jarring. Thanks again guys keep doing what you are great at, arigato!
Stunning beauty and impeccable craftsmanship as always. I never tire of watching you. I appreciate this type of video where you deconstruct and then build a garment in your own unique style as well as when you share from conception/drawing of a garment to the stitch by stitch process of turning that drawing into a piece of wearable art. You are an artist through and through. I feel privileged to have a window into your creative space. It is especially inspiring to see you make everything with hand stitching. It has made me look at pieces I own that are too large and my ability to transform them into something wearable in a new and different light. Than-q for sharing your craft. It has brought me great joy and peace to watch you create. I look forward to all you have to come. With peace, gratitude, grace and light!
Donna Keane Thank you very much for sending me such a motivational comment 🙏 I will try to create something new and interesting all the time! Take care and Happy Holidays!!!
Wow, I stumbled across this vid and I gotta say, your craftsmanship is utterly awesome to watch. Your content is inspiring, calming, and overall, just amazing. So glad to have found your channel.
Love your hand sticking and your finished pants. I work with wool and you do a lot of similar stitches. Do you ever use the wrong side of the fabric with the loops as your outer fabric. . I find your machine awesome. Thanks Louise
You inspire me to try my hand at sewing Thank you for bringing these works of art to life. I'm looking to follow your style in a similar vein by working with denim. I was wondering about one of your machines though, could you tell me what kind of stitch the Japsew machine is doing? I'm new and I don't believe that is a straight stitch.
Hi Mutsu, I love seeing what creativity can come out of a denim rebirth. Your work is impeccable. I love it. My question is what kind of machine does that stitching?. Keep doing what you obviously were made to do. May God continue to bless you. Take care.
@@MUTSUBYPROSPECTIVEFLOW Youre so kindful :) thank you very much. Im your big fan. Actually, i followed your instagram. I hope show my work to you. My account is @letsgo_moda_p. If you have extra time, plz enter my instagram. Thank you^^
This is such an inspiring project, and one of my absolute favourites. I could watch this video over and over. I'm learning so much from you. I'd love to know how you got started on your needlework journey. Thank you for entertaining me and for reawakening my interest in crafting. 🤗🤗🤗
What machine stitch are you using? Also, what weight thread? Your work is very beautiful because of the attention to put into each stitch. It’s mesmerizing.
Hey thanks again for inspiring us !!! I have a quick question, since this is a chain stitch how do you make sure that when people will wear it, it doesn’t go away if they snag it for example I am sorry I a trying to make a clear question but it’s not easy since I am french! Thanks so much
Your work always relaxes me. I've been doing a little sashiko but I noticed that I had to get a cortisone shot in my right thumb of course I'm 69 so that might be the trouble. Hahah and your still a youngster. Where do you get your needles and are you using upholstery thread? Thanks, Debbie
This is amazing. Like I’m starting my recreating journey thanks to you, super inspirational. Was the pattern you drew on top of the leg not the same size as the jeans before you took them apart? I’m scared to unstitch jeans and put them back together but I need to learn to lol
you are an amazing talent..hope i get to meet you or someday acquire one of your beautifully done masterpieces...take extra care of those hardworking hands...
Thank you very much for watching my video! The thread is 100% cotton text 105 from A&E. I am not an expert of the machine. So, I don't know if you can use the thread on a regular sewing machine🤔
very cool. and what is your number / thread thickness for the machine, if it's not a secret?! I've been looking for such a thread for my work for a very long time, but in my country there is simply no seller of such threads in terms of quality and thickness :( I envy you a little :))) you have very interesting work. I do a similar technique but don't post it on the internet. you are very beautiful and well done that you share your experience. I watched your videos and decided to try showing and teaching others. It is very cool :)

Hey... I love your work! So talented. Can I ask what fabric you are using for your labels? It looks like leather but I can't quite tell! I'm trying to produce mine sustainably from fabric scraps and worried about the fraying issue...but blanket stitch hopefully could work
Hey! Those thick line straight stitches that you do, is that with a certain type of needle or is it the specific machine that you’re using that allows you to accomplish those stitches?
Amazing work, I've been studying boro and sashiko for a while but haven't done a large project like this yet. However, I think you've motivated me to give it a try. Can I ask what weights you're using to hold the patterns down?

Hey! Those thick line straight stitches that you do, is that with a certain type of needle or is it the specific machine that you’re using that allows you to accomplish those stitches?

Omg that saddle stitch is beautiful.
Amazing work, I've been studying boro and sashiko for a while but haven't done a large project like this yet. However, I think you've motivated me to give it a try. Can I ask what weights you're using to hold the patterns down?
The weight is not for holding a pattern normally. The weight I use is the bottom part of eyelet die set. So you can use pretty much anything!
