How has Mattel not got the message that we don’t like the sculpted hair and underwear like NUUUU Edit: I get the Karen’s in the world will think it’s nudity but I would prefer for bra and underwear to be remove able. The sculpted hair is just dumb tho. If you want to change the hairstyle you really can’t because of that.

one thing I would suggest for the cornrows is to pain tiny strands of hair going out from each braid so it really looks like her hair was pulled into the braids. it also helps with the empty space. the doll looks great you did an awesome job :)

I hope you washed the doll after each acetone wipe however, leaving it on there can mean it's evaporates, causing vinyl shrinking and dicolouration

You are a boss doing all those parts so that the scalp does not show after the braiding. I haven not mastered that skill yet so comprehending that you did that over and over was really impressive.
I know! I do have several dolls with tapered box braids, so I really wanted to try another look for her. I have also seen a lot of styles with these really straight cut off braids recently, so that really inspired me!

How do you manage to spread the glue without getting the q-tip glued on? 😔
There will be glue on the qtip, but that doesn't matter. Just make sure you don't get the qtip on the hair

the glue doesn’t dry fast enough for the qtip to get glued in there
@@skeetulrich6988 but it gets all the hair sticking in the q-tip, and if I pull it out, it will pull the hair as well

Thank you! The heated spiral curled doesn't really work for the hairtype I use. Most people use that for curling yarn I believe!
