He has a long career ahead of him and I wish him all the success he is due.

This the ultimate song about divorce and betrayal. Giving so wholly of yourself only to be completely let down, and realize it was all an illusion to begin with. The sheer shock that comes along with this. I'm going through a divorce right now. My decision. But is it really? I think it was his decision with how he emotionally treated me like a rag doll. It's interesting seeing the comparison to Paul McCartney in the comments because I had the same thought. There are parts of this song that manage to do what Paul did in some of his best songs.. timeless melodies that sound familiar the first time you're hearing them. Sondre did this with a small orchestra for NRK music in Norway, definitely check out that version if you haven't already.. it's a little slower with a completely different arrangement.
