I'm really excited for this show at the legendary London Palladium . Cliff with The Shadows were Soo amazing ,Their performance was absolutely perfect. All show was beautiful...Thanks for sharing. 😮🎉❤🌟💯💎
Oh yes but also mom and dad always listened to the most depressing radio show ever, Sing Bloody Something Simple! Even now just thinking of it... Arghhhhhhhh. My singular memory of miserable Sundays back then with everything closed and as a 9 year old just school to look forward to. 😊
Cliff Richard could sing Frank's music like the talent bomb he was and is. His version of My Way is very moving and especially poignant in retrospect as he was in his early 30's when it was recorded -it still rings true today. "The record shows, I took the blows and did it my way". The Way of forgiveness. A genuinely solid man. Great upload thanks for sharing it. 🙏💗
Rachanee Suzie Q. Many thanks for your sharing the clip that I wasn't never saw before..I was. listened to them since Iwas 13 Now I am 78 and I am still love all of them. Thank you so much for your sharing. It's make me very happy.. Thanks..😊❤❤😊😊
Greetings, Thank u for sharing these awesome memories of a wonderful full flung romantic innocence in song/lyrics.. British gentleman SirCliff..a sentimental time to remember .. beautiful blessings!
Crikey am 76 was it that long ago!!!! I sat with my aunt Peggy and that was our highlight on the TV on a Sunday night at home.. Grest to watch Eh... ta ta.
I actually did a 10 minute slot there in 2000 . It was a charity show for make a wish children fund. Loved every minute. Where did that time go. Happy memories.
I can never hear that opening song without calling to mind the ad for frozen peas which was being run at about this time or perhaps shortly after. "Sweet sweet, the tastiest pea am I .... ".
I saw Cliff at the Palladium when he was very young, I was five years older, just come up to London from Wales. We were up in the Gods, looking down. Loved it.
The Shadows foi exclusivamente um grupo de apoio de Cliff Richard de 1958 a meados de 1959 ou 1960, desde então conseguiram um contrato próprio com a EMI lançando vários EPs e singles durante os anos 60's principalmente.
Vox amps are at the back alongside John Rostill with a mic in front of them. Hank's lead runs straight down from his Burns, whilst Bruce's lead is wrapped around the end strap. They are clearly visible certainly in close up shots. Admittedly they are not very visible in the long shots. Brian's drum also clearly have microphones above them.
Nice to see Jet Harris and Tony Meehan again. Just a little bit of miming from Cliff near the beginning. I never found Tarbuck particularly funny, it was best with Bruce Forsyth.
Cliff and the Shadows moved into the 'family entertainer' role. The Beatles were riding high at this time and the Shads' instrumental popularity had waned, as had Cliff's 'rock 'n' roll persona!

Strange to see The Shadows without their instruments!! The year I emigrated to Canada - Cliff was my heartthrob from the early days!
He had a number one hit for 5 consecutive decades
All those lovely ladies are now almost 80yrs.
Almost 60years later and still fantastic keep rocking Cliff. God bless Cliff love as usual ❤
So much class, talent, and, personality. And now we have got, ???.÷÷
AWESOME!
Simple that's the way true talents can do it with out modern gear and affects and Auotune on their voice
Brilliant.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Nice guitars played by the Shadows!
The Beatles and mainly lead guitari George sound like them.
I saw Cliff at the Palladium when he was very young, I was five years older, just come up to London from Wales. We were up in the Gods, looking down. Loved it.
Innocence...with a Capital l
Memories are made of this and fly me to the Moon what period of Cliff Richards is this
Good grief, where the H... has the last 60 years gone to .......we all ask. make the most of life, everyone
Come along way jimmy , oh yes, drove down his old road in South Liverpool the other day.
So So True 😂AMAZING Memories ❤❤

The Shadows just had to bring their singer on didn't they?

Shads hank goo as all waswaystim shadows hankfantim 3:19
In black and white
We want the Beatles...We want the Beatles!
1965... BBC3 ??
Didn't Frank the Tank Sinatra sing this?
I'd forgotten how UN FUNNY Jimmy Tarbuck was.
I hadn't! Terrible comic, who rode the Beatles fame by associating himself with them as old mates from Liverpool, even adopting the 'mop top'!
Tarbuck makes a mockery of all those who claim that British comedy was better back in the 'good ol' days' before all this 'offended woke nonsense'!
Where are the guitar leads and Amps ????
Vox amps are at the back alongside John Rostill with a mic in front of them. Hank's lead runs straight down from his Burns, whilst Bruce's lead is wrapped around the end strap. Pity they didn't all retire then 🤣😭😂😅
I love the Shadows, but any one else think Jimmy Tarbuck was over rated?
Totally. Cringeworthy!
❤😂😂
Charlie Drake the only class act here.
How crap was tarbuck
The crappiest of the crappy!
About 13 y/o then, not my cup of tea 🍵
Just realised something. Tarbuck was never funny.
Only now?
60’s comedy! WTF 😧
Nice to see Jet Harris and Tony Meehan again. Just a little bit of miming from Cliff near the beginning.
I never found Tarbuck particularly funny, it was best with Bruce Forsyth.
That was John Locking and Brian Bennet.
@@leancove9662 Nearly! It's actually Brian Bennet and John Rostill who had, by this time, replaced Brian - not John - Locking.
Oi
Olá
Where's Apache cliff a crooner come on
Cliff and the Shadows moved into the 'family entertainer' role. The Beatles were riding high at this time and the Shads' instrumental popularity had waned, as had Cliff's 'rock 'n' roll persona!
Ken Dodd looks different there.
What crap instrumental war loard
Jimmy Tarbuck. As funny as …. ?
Piles?
He thinks hes funny
Freddie (parrot face) Davies, bloody hell
I know right, wtf??
Tarby, as funny as herpes
Tarbuck and Davis your an embarrassment to Britain your not funny.
Cliff Richards - bad voice and very bad timing
At least get his bloody name right, you pillock!
What crap instrumental war lord
Você não gosta de "The War Lord"? Eu simplesmente adoro ouvir essa faixa, que pena.
Cliff Richard would be later in life be accused of being a pedophile 43:19
What relevance is this to the performance?Totally unproven and unnecessary.
There's always one !
Yes what a prat
Really, never heard that one! You'll be telling us he's a devout Christian and gay next!
