Being unsure about calmer. ...so i grabbed the loop engage 2. Pros - sound dulled, but not close voices - far noises dont seem as tinny or annoying - help focus on whats in front of you rather than being overwhelmed by ALL of the sounds. - can still converse with others - comfortable at night to sleep on, they seem to sit really nice and dont fall out - magnetic neck chain thing is great - great for when sitting in coffee shop or at home to reduce sensitivity to distant tv, microwave and so on. - in the morning theyre fab, helps transition into the day with more peace Cons - internal echo is truly awful and triggering - yeah you can engage with others but i can't handle how loud my voice is, and others ask me to speak up.... - helpful in supermarkets but all i can hear is my footsteps - can't tell where the sounds are coming from - people calling to each other in distance makes me anxious, i can't tell if theyre calling to me. - in some situations they increased my anxiety, or made me feel very spaced out.
Thank you for the review! I have ADHD and a particular sensitivity to noise so I'm thinking of ordering the new engage ones that apparently pretty good for conversation while lowering background noise. I really appreciate hearing a neurodiverse perspective on how this model has worked for you. Definitely understand the struggle of dealing with making coffee first thing in the morning
I am also in the spectrum, I live with my noise cancelling headphones on at all times: in the street, in the bus, at restaurants, alone at home, when sleeping. Most of the times I struggle the most in class and lectures in uni and these seems like something that might help me. Looking at what they have I think I'll try both the quiet and engage, and maybe try them with my noise canceling headphones. Thank you for your review!
Thank you so much for this! I'm not autistic but can have anxiety and panic attacks when overstimulated by too many noises. I appreciate what you said about wearing them for an hour or so in the morning to get rid of the sharp sounds. I'm especially sensitive in the morning and a bunch of loud noises makes me start the day feeling stressed and anxious. I was considering the Loop Engage so I could still hear my surroundings, but it seems like with Quiet I will still be able to hear while still having strong protection against intrusive sounds.
I was watching a video where someone had both the quiet and the experience pro, and they were able to add the inner loop plug (which loop sells seperately) onto the quiet, which added extra noise protection. I'm thinking of getting them both to try this, but also because my sensory overload fluctuates. Edit: someone responded to my comment saying that putting the inner loop on the quiet doesn't work, so read their comment and do some more research before making any purchases! That's what I'm going to do!
The inner loop only works on the experience. This is because this one has a filter that is blocked by the inner ring to dampen the sound. The quiet is already closed off entirely, so the inner ring has no additional effect.
@@kakschoen Thanks for letting me know! I edited my comment to let people know they should read your comment before making any purchases based on my comment.
I only have experience with the Quiet, so I'm glad that someone who's tried both got back to you. I'm the same, I need to do lots of research before I buy something. I hope you find the info you need!
As soon as I saw them claim using the inner loop on the quiet, I closed off the video, it's nonsense If you want the best passive noise reduction you can look into earmolds, they're not cheap but you probably won't find a better alternative for reducing outside noise on a small package like the Loops
Hi, I just got mine today. I’m also autistic and I wanted to find someone who also relates to my struggles review these. I really appreciated this video. Thank you 😅
Mine a coming in the mail tomorrow i got both the experience pro and the quiet just so i can switch depending on what i need. I love my noise cancelling headphones, but u can't really control how much they filter so they're mostly in use when i don't talk with other people or don't want to. I just needed something to allow me to modulate and customize the noise reduction depending on what i need at the moment even when i don't have my headphones charged up. Because with all the input i have from my brain being unable to filter the information my senses gather its not just uncomfortable and stressful but its also making it hard to focus or take part in a conversation because i can't focus on what they're saying
@@matiasquiroga3210 hello! i got my loop experience pro’s today, mainly for focus during reading books or studying since i can’t put in 110% when half my mind’s wandering around in the background noises, and they work wonders. i read for 3 hours straight without distractions, and if someone yells your name/calls you from afar, you’ll be able to vaguely hear them instead of taking them off every 5 minutes wondering if someone’s called your name yet or not. (this was without adding the mute option), which ones are you considering buying and for what purposes?
Thanks for the review I love your cat. So sweet. Would love to see the cat in your videos. Also I need earbuds because I’m autistic and I have noise sensitivity and when it’s too loud like people talking around me while being on the bus or even in social situations or at home the chatter makes me shutdown and go into autistic catonica or a meltdown. So would these earbuds help that.
I have a couple videos of Kit, the orange cat! The other cat, Mila, is much more shy. I'm hoping to get better footage of her and make a tribute video, as well, but she's like a ghost sometimes, lol. I really hope the Loops help! I definitely need them in the morning when everything is too loud.
I'm not autistic (maybe somewhat on the spectrum), but I have trouble picking voices out of background noise, and Ring earbuds are tremendously helpful. Have you tried wearing earbuds while you're talking to see whether that helps? I'm using Engage Plus. Thanks for making the video.
I have the Loop Quiet and the Loop Experience Pro. I get rubbed the wrong way by silicone tips so the foam tips that come with the Experience Pro along with the silicone are great. The Experience Pros are great for seeing a movie in the theater!
Have you listened to music or movies as you say with both? I'm can only get one at the moment and am wondering what the sound quality is like. Does the Quiet essentially lower the volume like Experience Pro, or does the sound go more muddy? I know Experience Pro is the one designed for like concerts and entertainment but I'm having a hard time finding if that's because it has better volume options or overall better sound clarity. Thanks :)
Thank you for a "true" review! As an ADHDer I appreciate the neurodivergent perspective. I'm particularly interested in finding something that blocks out other people's conversations in busy public places, like on the bus, the mall, at school etc. in your experience, does quiet block that? And what about high pitch sounds like sirens from outside, train breaks and things like that? And if it doesn't block it by itself, can you get there by using noise canceling headphones on top?
I have misophonia & extremely sensitive to loud noise & “soft sounds”. I have been living in my Bose Quiet Comfort so wanted something more discreet. I bought the Loop Quiet & am pretty happy. They are a bit tricky to insert & I find them a little uncomfortable when sleeping but I am now getting a bit more of a restful sleep. Thanks for the review 😊
I'm psychologist, and I'd like to help one specific child, she's in autism spectrum and cannot go to school because of the noise. I'd like to know if it's possible to hear voices, like the teacher, using those Loop Quiet.. sorry about my English, I'm from Brazil. Thanks for the video!
Hi! This is a great question, I'm glad you're trying to help this autistic kid find accommodations that will help her. I can still hear voices with the Loop Quiet earplugs. But I think for school the Loop Experience might be better. They let sound in, but keep it quiet. So she can still hear the teachers but it won't be so loud. I hope I can try the Loop Experience in a future video. You can see Loop Experience here: www.loopearplugs.com/products/experience
Loud noises, almost especially in theaters, can be overwhelming for me, and being in noisy social situations, like gatherings or theme parks, can sometimes throw me off. I'm very much considering the loop ear plugs & I loved watching your video!
Thanks so much for this review. I’ve been watching tons of reviews because I can’t decide among the three different kinds of Loops. I really hate loud sounds, abrupt sounds, and prolonged noise. They make me go crazy. I’m leaning more towards the Quiet because I can’t even be bothered to talk to people when I’m out in public so I have no use for the features of the Engage.
I use loop experience+mutes at work daily cause it's always so loud and i need to lower the volume of the environment but make sure i can still hear the kids..im always tempted to use quiet but i hold back lol..but when you showed yours they didn't look like they were in all the way..i could be wrong cause it was so brief..i started putting em in the way they suggested cause i was just shoving them in my ear at first lol
I just tried the official Loop TH-cam channel video technique, stuffing them in as far as they’d go and it was not comfortable, lol. I use the smaller size bud since I wear them most of the day (and night) and the pressure can be too much otherwise. I also have a serious fear of them getting stuck in my ears and having to go to the hospital, so I don’t push my luck; I wear them in the way that’s comfortable for me.
Hi, did you end up buying the Quiet ones as well? I'm wanting to buy them but having a hard time deciding. The the Quiets lower the volume similar to the Experience, or is it also a more muddy or unclear sound? I want the best noice cancelling but also still be relatively clear. Thanks :)
@@jaidenoliver7165 hi i actually had them for awhile i just want using them much at work cause i was kinda anxious to do that lol But the quiets lost the volume a bit more than the experience ones..it doesn't totally block the nose it's just quieter..i don't think it's really muffly or anything just kinda blocked off..ive actually been using engage more on a day to day basis and just switching as needed
Oh! Thanks for the part about the muffled sounds. I get bothered but unclear repetitive sounds. I bought a pair of the engage plus because they said it’s supposed to cut down on that, but I will still watch out! Thanks for the heads up, it would’ve been a nightmare if I didn’t know.
I have the flare pros and was debating between the flare night ones, or the loop quiets, cause my husbands a snorer... I felt that the overall reduction was what I needed to sleep rather than the edge being taken off, and your video has convinced me 😁
That's awesome!! I hope they work out. Sleeping well at night is like... so critical, omg. I get a lot of comments from people about buying things after seeing the video, so if you have any updates later and want to share, please do! I'm always curious if people's expectations for products matches their experience.
Experience pro or they have a new one the engage plus, both of them keep the clarity but reduce volume. The quiet reduces more decibels than the other 2 but it does it by reducing everything so things will sound muffled.
Both, just differently. I like Loop for sleeping and mornings (block out harsh sounds) but Calmer for everyday wear, taking the edge off even quiet environments (electricity, appliances humming, birdsong, distant traffic, etc.). When my sensitivity is BAD, I pair Loop with noise-canceling headphones or wear noise-canceling earbuds.
@@transplantman2287 ahhh thank you so much for clarifying! I was planning to get a pair of loops as well. I like the calmers thus far, but I do feel like they’re not as secure in my ear as I’d prefer (that could just be me being paranoid about losing the little devils though…), so I appreciate your honesty! Thanks!! Love the plants btw, and how cool is Japan? I’ve always wanted to visit there.
hey :) thanks for your videos and helpful reviews. could you please share which one you liked more between flare and loop ? i already have noice cancelling headphones that im using all day long cause im extra sensitive to sound, but i have difficulties to connect and communicate with ppl in busy and crowded environments or even in the streets like walking and talking. I am wondering if i should buy the flare calmers for that or the engage loops, would you suggest one in particular for this specific matter ? Thanks a lot
Thank you for this video! This is exactly what I was looking for because I wanted to know from someone like me if they would hurt while sleeping. Normally, the discomfort of wearing earplugs to sleep keeps me awake and I was hoping the silicone Loop wouldn’t hurt. I have their other two earplugs that are amazing, but hadn’t bitten the bullet for the all silicone ones. Thanks again!
Thanks for this perspective! Im a very light sleeper so these might do the trick. I am also considering pairing them (or the experience pros) with noise canceling headphones while im at work, so Im glad to see im not alone in thinking about doing that ^^;
I was in a restaurant a few. weeks ago and this couple had a toddler banging on plates with his spoon. just across from me.......I wanted to die!!! I could not for the life of me even eat and my sister noticed I was loosing it. God I needed these that day. Glad they ordered and fled before I blew a gasket. I'm taking the Engage and Experience with me to the grave!
the way you described not being able to tell where a sound is coming from bothering you. that is my problem with most noise reduction is that i can still hear something and cant identify it so my brain keeps searching and i cant focus on anything else until its identified and put in a box. i like the loop quiet for sleeping bcs it actually blocks bass from bars close to my apt. i'm looking for a solution for daily life and work bcs i'm in an ICU for 12 hours and the alarms and sounds are really getting to me. i bought calmer and loop experience to see what feels best.
Thanks for the review, it was very helpful. Im not autistic but have adhd and I'm very sensitive to sound as well. You mentioned that you used to wear over the ear headphones sometimes, also. Do you happen to have any reviews on those?
Thank you for posting this video, it has definitely been helpful. I'm considering these for my daughter who is very sensitive to noise. She's not coping in school (the lack of support from school staff is awful). Would they help in a classroom? She doesn't want to wear ear defenders because kids pick on other kids for wearing them. I'm at wits end trying to find a solution. I feel like my university are wonderful at trying to help people cope with disabilities, they go out their way to help with mine. Schools just don't have the same resources.
The quiets reduce all sounds like having ear plugs in (leave it muffled), if she wants something to quiet things down but still keeps the clarity then I would say the experience pro or the engage plus. The quiets say that they reduce by 27db, the other experience 18db and the engage 16 db. The experience and the engage can come with an add on that will give another 5db reduction which you can buy separately or buy as that version which then comes with extra ear tips to try too.
@@amandamandamands Thank you for explaining! We got both options to see how she manages in different settings with them. Even with the quiets option she said she can hear across the room with music playing near her which is remarkable. She is very sensitive to sound. Hopefully these options work for her in school and out-and-about because her emotions have been running high for weeks now in school, and it has been exhausting for her (and me!), and impossible for her to stay in classes. I should get feedback from her tonight about how effective they've been 🤞🤞🤞
@@vyvii3293I know your comment is almost from a year ago, but did she mention how well she can hear other people talking with quiet variant? Because I'm looking everywhere and I couldn't find any information about people having conversation with loop quiet. I don't have enough money for trying out both options and I don't want to pay more for experience and then find out that everything is still too loud. But unfortunately as a student I still need to hear people talking on lectures 😅
Please share your thoughts if you try the quiet mute that goes on the quiet. I'm pretty amazed with them. They pop out when I sleep on my side. They come out a little when I eat. But these are miraculous. Thanks for sharing.
I have the quiets and the experience, their website says that the mute doesn't do anything sound wise for the quiets it would just be a fashion extra, it works for the experience or the new engage. I haven't had them pop out and on one side my ear canal is weird, have you tried all the different tips to see if one gives a snugger fit (when I put them in I push it in and then turn them so that the loop part is snuggly sitting flush against my ear)
That's good to know! Would the music have been okay without the echo, or was the music already bothersome and the echo just made it worse? Since these videos are for ND people looking for ear defenders, I want to make sure the videos themselves aren't bothering people's ears. (My old apartment had all echo-y rooms, but my new place might be better, I haven't tested any of the rooms yet.)
@@Ochropyra Thank you, I'll keep that in mind the next time I manage to make a video review. I rely heavily on subtitles when I watch videos, so sometimes I'm not a good judge of sound design since tbh I ignore it in favor of the visuals and text a lot of the time. So I really appreciate this feedback, thank you for taking the time to give it!
@@FerneneAmour Yes, I can! Loud noises, especially up-close, are audible. I’m also sensitive to my alarm sound, so I wake up immediately when I hear it, even when I sleep through some other noises.
I would get the experience/pro fror concerts or things where you want to hear but quieter but i tried the quiet and it is a game changer for public spaces
Was the quiet comfortable in your ears? I have the experience pro and I love them, but can't wear them for very long bc regardless of the tip size I use, the loop part seems to always press into my ear and it's uncomfortable enough to the point that I don't wear them. I'm considering the quiet for the flexibility of the material, but I'm worried they will block out too much sound in public. Have you had a hard time with that at all?
@@Indi_Waffle_Girl for me it was because it's pretty squishy and soft, it blocked out a good deal of noise so it isn't ideal for conversations but you aren't totally unable to hear either, it's muffled.

Me, too, that’s a great idea! I’m having some technical difficulties with my computer so videos are on hold, but once I’m back in business, I hope I can compare more products.
Unfortunately I’m using one that I got free on an airplane flight 5 years ago, so I can’t make any good recommendations. 😅 In winter I sleep in a hoodie and pull the hood over my eyes.
I got some called boniesun ultra thin that I use if I can't have pressure on my eyes. They block out light very well even though they're thin. I'm in Germany but I've seen them on aliexpress The other are mavogel cotton sleep eye mask. They are very soft inside, have a metal part across the nose that you can bend, kind of like in masks but really comfortable. The mask rests on the eyelids whithout much pressure which I like sometimes, too. They stay on a bit better if I move a lot in my sleep. I ordered about 5 or so to test and couldn't decide between these two as I have different needs at different times.
Hi can you help me? I work in an open space office (so I have different people closed to me). I’d like to consistently reduce both ambient and voices noises to be more focused when carrying out my tasks. However I wouldn’t like to be completely isolated from everything (for example if a colleague is trying to call me, I’d like to be able to notice it, even if his voice noise is significantly reduced). So on one hand I want all the noises (of the voices as well) to be hugely reduced but on the other hand I would appreciate if I could be a little aware if someone is calling me. Is that possible with the loop experience pro (with the mute filter on) for instance? Or the voices are too much high (even with the mute filter on)? Because if with the loop experience pro the noises of the voices are still too much high, I would be disturbed the same (and in that case I would choose the quiet: I would be very isolated and not able to notice if someone is calling me, it’s true, but at least I would be focused when doing my tasks that it’s the priority for me). I hope you understood the situation. Thank you very much in advance for the answer!
you can still hear people talk with the quiet loops. at least i could hear my mom talk very well to the point i thought they weren't working that well, because they sounded just like the experience pro. i just did a side by side and turns out they have quite the difference in noise reduction and i just had a false memory experience pro: sounds are clearer, can hear ppl talk well, still quite a bit of background noise, pretty good for ongoing construction in the neighboring buildings quiet: definitely quieter, sounds are softer and more quiet (same with voice), very much still able to respond been watching youtube with my quiet loops in and it's actually easier to focus
The quiets muffle everything like if you have put ear plugs in, the experience pro or the new engage plus reduce sound but keep the clarity, if you get the higher version it is an extra rubber bit that goes onto the loop so you can choose to use it or not depending on how much sound you need to cut out (the mute adds and extra 5db reduction over the base version)
@@a.guy.named.nigpete Hi, is the sound clarity difference quite large between the Quiet and Experience Pro? I'm trying to decide which to use for concerts and am thinking the Quiet just because they block out more and are half the price. But I still want the experience to be clear. Sorry, hopefully that makes sense. Thanks :)
As a person with anxiety disorder and a history of burnouts, I have gotten very sensitive to sounds and I find it impossible to sleep with a snoring partner. Would these help? Thank you 😊
I have a similar issue and would say by themselves no, but works well combined with a Bluetooth soft headband playing sound blocking white noise (there's a 12 hour brown noise video here on TH-cam I prefer)
I have tinnitus and recently got them. I have 10% loss in the left ear with loud tinnitus and slight ringing in the right. Also a quarter pitch lower in the left. My brain corrects this but getting back to tinnitus. It doesn't make it go away but makes the day bearable. I have friends that talk too loud in small rooms or car and I cringe because my head goes into vertigo with loud sounds. I use the Quiet for sleep, Experience for loud. shows, concert, movie theater (big dog barking). which I can't stand the surround boom. The Engage I just received about an hour ago and will try them out tonight in my Aikido class. I have trouble listening to speech in an acoustically live room when there is another class in the next room (kids.....gah!!!!). P.S. I was a music teacher just retired 2 years and wore musician ones in rehearsals shows and in class but conversation was insane to make out so I learned to follow lips some. Hah, works great in class though sometimes. ok so there it is in a big nutshell from my end.
So glad I found this! I’m autistic and I just received mine in time for going back to college. I’m also a trans guy and plan to travel to Japan this year. If you don’t mind me asking how did you find the sensory side/ culture shock of arriving in Japan ? Also, how do you find being trans in Japan ?
Hi, sorry for the late reply! I should probably make a longer video about it, but suffice to say: My "culture" shock was low (bc I already didn't understand NT American culture, so this was no different). I was also an anime nerd for years so Japanese language, aesthetics, architecture, etc. already looked "familiar" to my brain. My "sensory" shock was a bit high, mainly with food and noise (texture & sound are some of the worst sensory stimuli for me). There's a higher ratio of soft/squishy/slimy foods in Japan than, say, the US. However, less food is spicy (in terms of heat and also the inclusion of any spices). As for being trans in Japan, it's hard to say mainly bc I've been working from home since mid-2020, lol. I haven't had to deal with the public as a trans man very much. Although I will say that, because Japanese men my age are shorter, less muscular, more fashionable, and shave more than American men, I'm taken as cis a lot easier, I think.
@@transplantman2287 no worries and thank you so much for such a detailed reply it has been very helpful and encouraging. I’m also a big anime/manga nerd and so I do feel pretty familiar with certain aspects of Japanese culture so hopefully this will come in handy lol. I guess the real test of just how familiar I am will be when I visit! Also, thanks for going into depth on the sensory side of things. My main issues are with sound and light but also textures. I know how loud and bright Japan can be and I am a bit worried about that… but I won’t let that stop me going! I think I will just have to schedule in regular sensory breaks for myself. On another note that’s great news about ‘passing’ as male being potentially ‘easier’ in Japan. I also get major height dysphoria over here so being in a culture where guys are generally a lot shorter could actually potentially provide some euphoria ! Keep up the great videos, I will continue watching :)
hi! i noticed that youre putting them wrong, you have to twist to put in and to get out! so it doesn’t hurt or feel of ur ears if you’re confused on how to put in, i think the loop earplugs brand have an youtube channel teaching it hope it helped 🥰
Hey, thanks for the heads up! I found the official Loop channel how-to. Even though I don’t twist them, the position I wear them and what’s shown on the channel is the same. So I was already wearing them correctly! There’s no pain when I put them in or take them out, so the only difference twisting would make is actually stabbing myself in the ear with my fingernails. 😅 I’ll keep putting them in and taking them out the same as I always have, since it works for me and the result is the exact same. Thanks for the tip, though! I’m sure it will be helpful for someone!

Thanks :)
thank you really much for this helping video from autistic point of view, it really helped me and I appreciate this since it took you so much energy
@@transplantman2287 thank you so much!!!! Good bless you!!
Yeah It looks like his weren't in all the way. But we all have different ears so who knows lol
@@transplantman2287 Right! Just do what works for you in the end. Everyone has different ears and will need to adjust accordingly :)
Hi, did you end up buying the Quiet ones as well?
I'm wanting to buy them but having a hard time deciding. The the Quiets lower the volume similar to the Experience, or is it also a more muddy or unclear sound? I want the best noice cancelling but also still be relatively clear.
Thanks :)
@@jaidenoliver7165 hi i actually had them for awhile i just want using them much at work cause i was kinda anxious to do that lol
But the quiets lost the volume a bit more than the experience ones..it doesn't totally block the nose it's just quieter..i don't think it's really muffly or anything just kinda blocked off..ive actually been using engage more on a day to day basis and just switching as needed
I'm extremely noise sensitive but still need to hear the teacher in class would experience, experience pro or quiet be better ?
experience pro, because it's basically a 2 in 1.
quiet sounds less clean in my opinion
Experience pro or they have a new one the engage plus, both of them keep the clarity but reduce volume. The quiet reduces more decibels than the other 2 but it does it by reducing everything so things will sound muffled.
thank you for your helpful review, colin!!
Do you like these better than the flare calmer ones? Or like them both, just differently? Like loops work better for some days/things vs the calmer?
Thank you for such helpful information-I’m ordering mine today-also love hearing your little cats 🐈
This is great info. I'm going to purchase either the Loop Engage or Engage Plus. Thanks for sharing.
I’m autistic as well so thanks for the review! I ordered mine and they will arrive this week. I cannot wait to use them!
Thanks for this perspective! Im a very light sleeper so these might do the trick. I am also considering pairing them (or the experience pros) with noise canceling headphones while im at work, so Im glad to see im not alone in thinking about doing that ^^;
I will be trying out these one out soon I got them in the mail yesterday Loop Experience Ear Plugs.
They were great for dulling a loud restaurant down to tolerable
I was in a restaurant a few. weeks ago and this couple had a toddler banging on plates with his spoon. just across from me.......I wanted to die!!! I could not for the life of me even eat and my sister noticed I was loosing it. God I needed these that day. Glad they ordered and fled before I blew a gasket. I'm taking the Engage and Experience with me to the grave!
Thanks for being brave and making this video, needed some reviews on these, local traffic wakes me up at 3 am.
the way you described not being able to tell where a sound is coming from bothering you. that is my problem with most noise reduction is that i can still hear something and cant identify it so my brain keeps searching and i cant focus on anything else until its identified and put in a box. i like the loop quiet for sleeping bcs it actually blocks bass from bars close to my apt. i'm looking for a solution for daily life and work bcs i'm in an ICU for 12 hours and the alarms and sounds are really getting to me. i bought calmer and loop experience to see what feels best.
Great video! Been debating on what type to get but I think I'll try the Quiets. Thank you!!
how do u suggest them for focused study session ?
The background Musik added to the echo in the room really „hurts“
That's good to know! Would the music have been okay without the echo, or was the music already bothersome and the echo just made it worse? Since these videos are for ND people looking for ear defenders, I want to make sure the videos themselves aren't bothering people's ears.
(My old apartment had all echo-y rooms, but my new place might be better, I haven't tested any of the rooms yet.)
@@transplantman2287 background Musik would have probably been ok at a lower volume. And echo is unfortunately, at least for me, always distracting
Can you hear your alarm with these in? Thank you for your review
@@FerneneAmour Yes, I can! Loud noises, especially up-close, are audible. I’m also sensitive to my alarm sound, so I wake up immediately when I hear it, even when I sleep through some other noises.
@@transplantman2287 this is super helpful. Thank you for your rapid response!
@@Indi_Waffle_Girl for me it was because it's pretty squishy and soft, it blocked out a good deal of noise so it isn't ideal for conversations but you aren't totally unable to hear either, it's muffled.
I'd like to see you try the experience or engages from loop for comparison
Me, too, that’s a great idea! I’m having some technical difficulties with my computer so videos are on hold, but once I’m back in business, I hope I can compare more products.
Possible video idea: are there any specific eye masks you suggest?
Unfortunately I’m using one that I got free on an airplane flight 5 years ago, so I can’t make any good recommendations. 😅 In winter I sleep in a hoodie and pull the hood over my eyes.
It would be cool to try new ones, though!
Hahah that's fair! I'll be on the lookout
I got some called boniesun ultra thin that I use if I can't have pressure on my eyes. They block out light very well even though they're thin. I'm in Germany but I've seen them on aliexpress
The other are mavogel cotton sleep eye mask.
I’m struggling to put them in .
Thank you very much in advance for the answer!
you can still hear people talk with the quiet loops. at least i could hear my mom talk very well to the point i thought they weren't working that well, because they sounded just like the experience pro.
i just did a side by side and turns out they have quite the difference in noise reduction and i just had a false memory
experience pro: sounds are clearer, can hear ppl talk well, still quite a bit of background noise, pretty good for ongoing construction in the neighboring buildings
quiet: definitely quieter, sounds are softer and more quiet (same with voice), very much still able to respond
been watching youtube with my quiet loops in and it's actually easier to focus
Thanks :)
this is such a good review thankyou so much!
As a person with anxiety disorder and a history of burnouts, I have gotten very sensitive to sounds and I find it impossible to sleep with a snoring partner. Would these help? Thank you 😊
I have a similar issue and would say by themselves no, but works well combined with a Bluetooth soft headband playing sound blocking white noise (there's a 12 hour brown noise video here on TH-cam I prefer)
there's one gigantic long lyric at the very start (comment) and it's not timed to appear at each supposed moment lol
Great job. I'm going to try them. Tinitus is a thing with me, so I think it may help.
I hope so! Let us know how they work!
How do you put them in so quickly. I mean, I am getting quicker but not that quick 😮
Lol I spent a BAD month in an apartment by a busy road and got super practiced switching between different ear defenders.
Nice video man.. very informative.
What's your cat's name?
ive got Loop experience pro! so perfect and qiet enough after a rough day at work
This was helpful, thanks.
😅thank you this video helped me very much. I am 82 years old.
Just wanted to say thank you for sharing.
Absolutely!
My Berbs are assholes so ill look into these more thanks man!😂😂😂😂
thank you for the video.
I should probably make a longer video about it, but suffice to say:
My "culture" shock was low (bc I already didn't understand NT American culture, so this was no different).
Keep up the great videos, I will continue watching :)
hi! i noticed that youre putting them wrong, you have to twist to put in and to get out! so it doesn’t hurt or feel of ur ears
if you’re confused on how to put in, i think the loop earplugs brand have an youtube channel teaching it
hope it helped 🥰
Hey, thanks for the heads up! I found the official Loop channel how-to. Even though I don’t twist them, the position I wear them and what’s shown on the channel is the same. So I was already wearing them correctly! There’s no pain when I put them in or take them out, so the only difference twisting would make is actually stabbing myself in the ear with my fingernails. 😅 I’ll keep putting them in and taking them out the same as I always have, since it works for me and the result is the exact same. Thanks for the tip, though! I’m sure it will be helpful for someone!
I love it.
Your channel name is awesome. I see your plants, you're trans, and a transplant I suppose as you're living in Japan. (Only watched the calmer and this video.)
Haha yes, I am a sucker for puns.
No offense, but why would you start a conversation out saying you’re a trans man?
Is this about attention because that’s not normal conversation.
I am so grateful for your autistic reviews 🥲🙏🫶
