I've been looking for screw cutters for years. Ordered immediately. Now I need an SAE version that goes down to 2-56.
Hello again, Dan the fix it man
Thank you for another Great Video 👍 Happy New Year's to you and your family. Again thank you 👌
That's pretty slick!
Looks like a knuckle buster!
I used to cut screws pretty often. Wish I had one of these back then.
Never seen anything like it. Must be why it's Made in Japan!
Very nice! I didn’t know a tool like this exists. Sure beats using a Dremel with those thin cutoff wheels that disintegrate right into your face. Also saves having to deburr small screws with a chamfer cone.
A single shear version is built into a lot of wire strippers. I didn't realize this myself until not that long ago and I'm not so young anymore. It's on my wire strippers.
Interesting. If you machine a slot into the tip of your screw (e.g with a Dremel?) before you cut it you could make your own grub screws. That's probably a terrible idea but it might work in a pinch...
Hello Dan, the fix it man
Thank you for another Great Video 👍 Merry Christmas to you and your family. Again thank you 👌
@@georgeferlazzo7936 Thank you so much! Merry Christmas to you and your family as well!
This tool looks great, Are there larger ones, SAE ones?
@@josephseewald4687 yes, I’m really happy with it. This is the only one I’ve seen from them, but I will inquire about an SAE and a larger version.
Take care,
-Dan
Doubt they’ll ever make an imperial version for only one country. 😂😂😂
@@scroungasworkshop4663 - That one country happens to be a huge market. And non-metric hardware is used in more than just that one country.
@@scroungasworkshop4663 3 countries you forgot Liberia and Myanmar
@ Ohh yes, they’re major markets on the world stage 😂😂😂
If only they made an SAE version. I prefer the Knipex that don’t require threads. Just a hole so Metric or SAE doesn’t matter. Not as clean of a cut, but good enough.
Right on, I do the same.
Nice tool but a fine toothed junior hacksaw has always worked for me. Leave a nut on the thread and unscrew it after cutting to debur.
