When one talks about pure classical music in present times only one name comes to mind is of ustad Rashid Khan. Aisa artist ka koi jor Nahin. RIP sir
His renditions always touched my soul as of millions of other classical music lovers. His passing away is a colossal loss to all of us. He would be remembered for ages through his masterpieces. Alah grant him peace in his heavenly abode. I sincerely wish Arman Khan, his equally talented son, to carry his legacy forward and enthrall people with soulful music.

@@businessevangelist820 Yes, indeed, I am but in a sort of a convoluted way, through the late Landlord, Selvapillai Iyengar and his brother, Ramaswamy Iyengar in Bengaluru. All five brothers have passed away and our ancestral homes in Gorur have passed hands. We also managed a Coffee estate on the hills but that too is gone. We are all very proud of Gorur Ramaswami Iyengar's heritage.
