When mother Seeta the concert of Lord Ram was kidnapped by evil Ravana, Lord Ram merged in sorrow and consistently tear was coming from His eyes. But seeing His wife in the form of mother Seeta, whom Lord shiva warships as mother, He could no longer accept His wife. Then comes this event of insulting Lord Shiva by daksha the father of mother Sati, in his ceremony. And mother Sati could not bear her beloved husband's insult and burnt herself in her own generated devine fire. And she was to take another birth as mother parvati, the daughter of King of Himalayas.
That's Vaishnav fake story , Lord Ram was just avtaar in tretayug and lord Shiva is beyond to time , and it is In your Vaishnav Puran in Padma Purana , where Shiva says Ishwar Geeta To lord Ram that leave that sorrow . Shiva is always beyond
