I think you glossed over something that might be important. In the translation I read, there was a narration about the pig God possibly collecting people for a city inside itself. What if it is a plot thread connected to Zuneisha and there are different large animals focused on gathering people for a purpose?
What if Orochi is Sukiyaki's bastard son and Oden's half brother. His looks come from his mother who recently died in poverty after revealing who his father is. His paranoia started with someone, probably Kinemon, talking behind his back and he came to the conclusion that everyone was doing it. That combined with the lust for revenge over his mom and entitlement to the throne of Shogun made him want the Kozuki dead and Yasuie by association. He secretly, even from Kaido, poisons Oden which leads to his attack only scarring as opposed to killing and Kaido's disappointment about the fight leads to him boiling Oden as opposed to boiling oden on top of him, as he did with Katzuso, as both a slight and form of respect.

I want to like Oden, but he is strongly resembling a Gary Stue. All the women lust after Oden, all the men respect him, including the ones that hate or fear him, everyone wants to be Oden's friend, including all of Rogers's crew. It seems that the country of Wano revolves around Oden.
For saying One Piece doesn't have many Gary Stus I think that it's fine, although I would much rather he remained in darkness and we only ever got second hand accounts as that would make him seem more like a legend I'm excited to see the twist in his backstory. I'd wait before condemning any character in this series to Gary Stu as they have a habit of subverting the cliche.
What If: As of this moment in the flashback, Orochi is already a Beast Pirates Nakama and the Coup D'etat plan's already in motion.. That'll be some crazy *Captain Kuro of The Thousand Plans* shiiiid. Edit: the whole timeline doesn't match though... And I trust Oda would pull a greater plot twist...
Nah. He's too young here. Definitely when he's older. Oden hasn't even left Wano yet to start his journey. Not a Commander of Whitebeards ship yet. Didn't join Roger on the final voyage yet. And just got banned from the capital. The scan we saw with him and Roger showed Wano wanting Oden to return to become a Shogun.
That would really only fit if you add Kaido also planning things for the long term while he himself was still a subordinate. Kaido was an apprentice with the Rock Pirates and they don't fall until about 3 years later (38 years ago). Otherwise, it would have to be until after the God Valley incident in which the Rocks Purates disband and Kaido starts the Beasts Pirates.

Last chapter was too unbelievable for me that Oden was able to do so many things at such a young age but this chapter totally made me fall in love with him. I can't wait for more Oden action!

A lot of people have been comparing Odens use of "Two sword style" to Zoros of "Three sword style" not just saying it before an attack but the physical stance and style shown in that panel, which I am incline to agree if Denjiro is Koushiro, as he could have been mentored by Oden in the ways of the sword when he was young and has now passed on that same style to his students in the East Blue
If Orochi doesn't have his fruit then I imagine when he does get it he might go wild thinking he is possessed or cursed. Then Oden the God slayer will just be like, "ah this is a nice Tuesday to slay a hydra"

A lot of people have been comparing Odens use of "Two sword style" to Zoros of "Three sword style" not just saying it before an attack but the physical stance and style shown in that panel, which I am incline to agree if Denjiro is Koushiro, as he could have been mentored by Oden in the ways of the sword when he was young and has now passed on that same style to his students in the East Blue
If Orochi doesn't have his fruit then I imagine when he does get it he might go wild thinking he is possessed or cursed. Then Oden the God slayer will just be like, "ah this is a nice Tuesday to slay a hydra"

The face I borrowed for this year's Halloween festivities was Anthony J Crowley from Good Omens; good gods/Satan I love that 'badass in black', or as the millennials might call him now 'the OG danger noodle'. In relation to Tekking's recent discussion of Oden and the labors of Heracles, Orochi is a double reference; one is the hydra with the Yamata no Orochi, which Tekking discussed, but the other is King Eurystheus, the cowardly and paranoid ruler that the true hero is being forced to work for/is subjugated to thanks to divine vindictiveness.
