Never use dish soap on your car. it's horrible for the plastics and clear coat on your car. It will pull the oils out of the plastics making them white and crack. it will also eat away at your paint. im sure it will also make your wiper blades last a lot shorter of a life. DIY washer fluid bad idea

I tried the alcohol and microfiber towel on black marks on baseboards. It worked, but very slowly. I then tried some alcohol on a Mr Clean Magic Eraser, and the black marks came off like, well, magic!

Do not put that many drops of essential oil into such a small recipe for hand sanitizer. Essential oils are strong and need to be diluted. Putting it on bare skin can be too harsh, and that many drops for such a small batch will make it much too strong.

I began purchasing large quantities of 90%+ rubbing alcohol for cleaning everything, mainly electronic devices which are used in the hand, and can develop a nasty greasy sheen after some use. I since found TONS of uses for my beloved isopropyl :) Thanks for adding to the list. Pro tip, buy a small spray bottle from your local walmart and just fill it with 90% isopropyl alcohol to use as sanitizer. Just spray it directly onto your hands and rub together! It smells great and keeps your hands soft and dry!
It is not the same alcohol. Methanol has one carbon, ethanol (drinking alcohol) has two carbon atoms, isopropal alcohol has 3 carbons. They are each unique molecules with unique properties.

Rubbing alcohol is also ideal for removing dirt and grease from CDs, DVDs, and BluRay discs. Just make sure you have a cloth that won't scratch it up too easily. It also seems to work well with cleaning the screen of CRTs and Flatscreen monitors. But I haven't tried it on a more modern TV.
Rubbing alcohol also helps mosquito bites too! You put it on a tissue and put the rubbing alcohol on the tissue then dab it on the mosquito bite or mosquito bites it should help.
Too much Dawn. Dawn leaves a horrible residue. I cleaned houses professionally. You only need two, or at most three drops. Half white vinegar, half 70% Isopropyl alcohol, and one drop of, Dawn. For bad surfaces, add two or three drops of Dawn. Following this video will make you work harder. And, just a quick tip. Gotta bad shower? Try fume free oven cleaner. living in minnesota, i make my own windshield de-icer for my car. i mix 1 part rubbing alcohol to 2 parts water (may need slightly more alcohol if it's really cold where you live) and add to spray bottle. i spray it on my windows in the winter and the ice melts right off and a lot cheaper than the store bought stuff
inhaling alcohol is hazardous.. The air freshener is good but don't spray it with people or pets in the room.. It'll evaporate in just a few minutes leaving the room smelling nice when you come back..

The cleaning tub is really helpful. I just tried it, I've used foams, heavy bleach and special sponges and none of them worked. I used alcohol, peroxide, vinegar and soap and did better than anything that I've used. The smell is weird but not too strong.

Rubbing alcohol is my all-time favorite cleaning tool. It's the best carpet spot cleaner out there, a great potty training companion as it disinfects and deodorizes without oxidizing surfaces like bleach, and it can go anywhere that's not painted or varnished. Best window cleaner out there, too. I put it in my all-purpose cleaner to make it a disinfectant. Love rubbing alcohol.
You can also mix 1/2 a cup of rubbing alcohol, 1/2 a cup of distilled white vinegar, 15 - 25 drops of your preferred essential oils, 2 Tbsp of Aloe Vera gel (depending on whether you want a liquid consistency) 4 lines of cocaine and a dash of cinnamon to heal a broken heart. Hope this helps!

50% IPA/rubbing alcohol makes a perfect streak free glass cleaner. Use it with a squeegee for fast no touch cleaning. A second application is sometimes needed. Use it with a magic eraser for particularly dirty glass.
Another good hack for the permanent marker, use a dry erase marker and draw over the permanent ink and then erase it. My high school history teacher showed me this one.

Mixing rubbing alcohol and vinegar is really useful for getting rid of common stains. I often add a cup of bleach into the mix to make it even stronger. I like to seal it up and give it to my upstairs neighbor as a gift, but they haven't been answering my doorbells for some odd reason. I wouldn’t do the windshield washer fluid one. There is a reason a lot of the winter ones use methanol. While alcohol doesn’t freeze it might gel up causing early failure of the windshield wiper motors
For a more expensive alternate to rubbing alcohol, clean your toothbrush in Jack Daniels so you can mix business (brushing your teeth) with pleasure (drinking a glass of Jack Daniels)! You can also use less expensive whiskey, if you’re a little short on cash (let’s be honest, most of us are)
Remember people, rubbing alcohol is still a solvent, slightly toxic and poisonous. Be careful with the dish soap in wiper fluid. If it gets on waxed paint, it'll take the wax off (most of the time).

I used to work in a pharmaceutical company. We used to use isoprophyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) on everything to desinfect.

Rubbing alcohol is my all-time favorite cleaning tool. It's the best carpet spot cleaner out there, a great potty training companion as it disinfects and deodorizes without oxidizing surfaces like bleach, and it can go anywhere that's not painted or varnished. Best window cleaner out there, too. I put it in my all-purpose cleaner to make it a disinfectant. Love rubbing alcohol.

You can also mix 1/2 a cup of rubbing alcohol, 1/2 a cup of distilled white vinegar, 15 - 25 drops of your preferred essential oils, 2 Tbsp of Aloe Vera gel (depending on whether you want a liquid consistency) 4 lines of cocaine and a dash of cinnamon to heal a broken heart. Hope this helps!

Because I do things like keep my fingernails really short, always erasing things if I write them slightly wrong, etc. But I've never been diagnosed, and even if I were diagnosed it would be a very mild case, because it's not something that is really an issue or an obstacle. However, my father actually does have diagnosed OCD, which is why it annoys me when people who like to wash their hands or don't like writing in an upside down notebook say "Oh, that hurts my OCD so much!" Because they've never seen actual obsessive compulsive disorder.

50% IPA/rubbing alcohol makes a perfect streak free glass cleaner. Use it with a squeegee for fast no touch cleaning. A second application is sometimes needed. Use it with a magic eraser for particularly dirty glass.

Mixing rubbing alcohol and vinegar is really useful for getting rid of common stains. I often add a cup of bleach into the mix to make it even stronger. I like to seal it up and give it to my upstairs neighbor as a gift, but they haven't been answering my doorbells for some odd reason. It's probably because they're too astounded by how effective it is.

I wouldn’t do the windshield washer fluid one. There is a reason a lot of the winter ones use methanol. While alcohol doesn’t freeze it might gel up causing early failure of the windshield wiper motors

Remember people, rubbing alcohol is still a solvent, slightly toxic and poisonous.
Most of the tips are ok, but rubbing alcohol can tear off and damage several types of coatings, you always wanna use it in well ventilated areas, keep it away from pets and kids, and always remember how flammable it can be as well as vapors it gives off.
